Auden

Well, everyone was sure hitting it off. The guys were psyched that we'd agreed to go on tour with them, and were still in shock at how amazing the girls truly were. I always knew there was a reason I'd agreed to become manager of The Hand Of War, besides the fact that they were amazing, but also for moments like these, when I got to meet Avenged Fucking Sevenfold! I couldn't wait to tell everyone about this. We were really going to hit it big this time. We were going on tour, with Avenged Sevenfold nonetheless!

I couldn't believe Simone's parents had just kicked her out like that. Especially since they know that we will be going on an actual world tour with a famous band. I was lost in my thoughts, when I heard someone yell at me.

"Earth to Auden!" Phoenix yelled.

"Huh?" I snapped out of my daze.

"Uh, you're phone's ringing." Carson said to me.

"Oh." I said, rushing to grab my phone, before it stopped ringing.

"It's probably just Jamie." Phoenix said, pretending to gag herself with her finger.

"You guys don't understand..." I said, as I walked away to answer my phone.

Johnny

"Who's Jamie?" I asked Phoenix, after Auden had left the room.

"Oh just Auden's stupid asshole boyfriend of five years." She answered.

"Ugh don't even get me started on how stupid he is." Carson stated. "Plus, he treats her like total shit, and she just lets him get away with it!"

"And she's been with this guy for five years?" Matt asked, looking astonished.

"They've broken up several times, but he always shows up not long after, wanting her back."

"Oh. Jeesh. Sounds like a total dickhead." Brian said, taking a swig of his beer.

"You're one to talk aren't you." Zack said, punching him the shoulder.

"She deserves better." I said aloud, although not meaning to.

"You're right. She does." Phoenix agreed.

Auden

"Babe, I promise we'll be coming back, it's not like we're going to be gone forever... It's just a tour."

"You're going to be gone for a long time, Auden. I don't want you going. Who's to say you won't fall in love with one of those guys, anyway?"

"Wow, Jamie, are you insisting that I would cheat on you?"

"No, babe. What if they try to hurt you?"

"They won't."

"You don't know that."

"I do."

"Whatever. You're not going, Auden. That's the end of this conversation." Jamie said, and hung up the phone.

I felt a tear slide down my cheek, as I let myself slump to the ground. He's already managed to tear me away from my family. He's taken away most all of my friends, except for the band. These girls are the only thing I have left. He's managed to steal everything else from me.
I've tried to break it off, but I just can't seem to rid myself of him. He only comes back, and with a vengeance. If only the girls knew what I went through with him, they would've killed him off long ago. But, I can't tell anyone, if I do, I know he'll kill me.
I forced myself off the ground, and wiped the tears from my eyes. I had to think of an excuse to not go on this tour.

Johnny

As Auden walked back in the room, I could tell she had been crying. Something inside of me just wanted to hunt down this guy who had made her cry, and kill him with my bare hands. This Jamie guy she was dating sounded like a total tool. I was devastated now that I knew she wasn't single. I really thought I might have a chance with her, but I guess not...

Auden


"Umm guys... I have some really bad news..." I said, as I sat down next to Phoenix.

"What's that?" Deanna said, looking concerned.

"I won't be able to go on tour with you guys..."

"And why the Hell not?" Phoenix questioned. "Please tell me this has something to do with Jamie, I'm just begging for any reason to kick his ass."

"It doesn't." I lied. "That wasn't Jamie calling, it was my dad. He wants me to come home for a few months, since I never see him or my mom anymore. They're concerned, I guess."

"They should be concerned! We're going on tour with Avenged Sevenfold, and they suddenly decide they miss you! Pleasant timing..."

"Please, Phoe, you have to understand. They're just concerned, since they haven't seen me in forever. I need to go visit them."

"Can't you just go visit them, and then come on tour afterward?" Deanna asked.

"I could, but they want me to stay for a while, and I don't know how long that will be, you know parents, they don't like their kids to just stay for a couple days and then leave..."

"Fuck." Phoenix said.

"I'm sorry, guys. This is important to them, and it's important to me."

"If I find out this has anything to do with Jamie..." Carson started.

"It doesn't." I lied again. "I'm really sorry, but I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun without me."

I couldn't help but feel bad that I'd just cancelled on my band mates, and Avenged Sevenfold, but there was no way Jamie would let me leave... alive.
