Dirty Little Secret
I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
I was staring after Zack in shock. Did I really just hear him correctly?
"Iero." Ray said and came over to me. "Come on man, we're waiting for you..."
"Oh right." I went over and moved the guitar for our before show huddle. After we broke away we made our way onto the stage and Ray opened the show with Romance. We really only had 2 CDs and one wasnt even released just yet, so we just played Bullets in order, throwing the new songs into the mix. I looked out into the sea of teenagers and took a deep breath. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the members of Avenged Sevenfold on the side of the stage closest to me, Zack with his arms folded across his chest. Ray finished playing Romance and I licked my lips as I looked to Matt behind the drums. I was so nervous.
"Millvale! How ya fucking doing tonight?" the crowd cheered and I looked out with a smile. "I know you don't want to hear me talk but I just wanted to say that we're glad to be here!" more cheers. "You know something? There was a girl I went to school with and she claimed to be my girlfriend.... but here she was just trying to use me to gain friends and popularity... And you know what... I was a complete loser. I still am! I only had like one friend besides Mikey. But now... now I have these sexy motherfuckers that I call friends... and I have friends in other bands like The Used, Thrice, Thursday, and AVENGED FUCKING SEVENFOLD!" he screamed the last part into the mic earning the loudest bunch of screams. "But anyway, when I found out that my so called girlfriend was using me you know what I said to her? I said to her 'Honey, This Mirror Isnt Big Enough For The Two Of Us!" there were screams and then Ray started in on the guitar, me jumping in shortly after. I thrashed around my guitar and was putting on the best show that I could.
"The amount of pills I'm taking, counteracts the booze I'm drinking. And this vanity I'm breaking lets me live my life like this. Well I find it hard to stay with the words you say Oh baby let me in. Oh baby let me iiiinnn" Gerard continued the song as I was giving the show my all, watching Zack from my peripheral vision. Thank god that I had a few breaks through out the song because my fingers were getting clammy from being so nervous that I was on the verge of messing up. Note to self: don't ever forget the pre-show rituals every again.
After 'Honey' we went right into playing 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' but after, Gerard decided that he wanted to talk once again. I looked over at Zack, motioning for him to get me a beer. Zack disappeared and I looked out to the crowd. Sometimes I swear Gerard would rather just talk to the crowd just to hear his own voice. I chuckled to myself before I saw Zack return to the side of the stage. I was about to walk over when all of a sudden he started walking towards me, holding 3 beers. He smiled out to the crowd, waving as they cheered. He opened one, handing it to me before he set the other two on the amp. He turned and waved again before he started walking off.
"Hold on, hold on...Zacky..." Gerard said his name in a sexy voice. Zack turned and looked at Gerard before Gerard did the 'come here' finger gesture. "I'm sure you all know this sexy motherfucker. If you don't, his name is Zacky motherfucking Vengeance," only then did I realize how fucked up Gerard really was. "Come here Zacky... Say something to your beautiful fans!" Gerard looked at me with a drunken smile.
"Whats up!" Zacky said into the microphone looking completely awkward and unsure of why Gerard even made him come over to him.
"I know something you don't know..." Gerard smirked at Zacky. Zack's back turned to me so I couldn't see his expression or even see if he was talking. "Do you want to know this dirty little secret?" Gerard's eyes flicked to me and my eyes widened, shaking my head no as I tried to beg him with my eyes not to say anything. Drunk Gerard was known for word vomit. "I know someone who isn't wearing any underpants right now..." Gerard mused, once again glancing at me. It looked like Zack was laughing as Gerard crept closer to his ear with the mic to his lips. He whispered "Me." before he kissed Zack's cheek. Relief flooded me and I chugged the beer that I'd completely forgot was in my hands.
"IERO! COME HERE!" Gerard said. I choked on the beer before I set it down, wiping the dribbled beer off of my face with my hands. I walked over and smiled at the taller man next to me mouthing
'Hey Zack!' to which he nodded.
"How many of you know me and my band?" Gerard asked the audience, earning a lot more screams than I had expected. "Does anyone know what today is?" more screams. "Right, it's MY fucking birthday... Did any of you cheap bastards get me a gift?" All of a sudden a bra was thrown on stage and Gerard picked it up distastefully looking it over. "That's it? Just a worn bra... oh wait. There's a note on it... Oh it's just her phone number... Sorry sweetie but I can't accept this gift. My girlfriend would kill me..." he tossed it between the stage and the barrier before he looked around. "Nothing else?? I'm bummed. Well then. You know what would be a GREAT gift to me..." He turned to Zack and I with an evil grin. The grin he got when he was planning something. "I want you two sexy men to kiss." my eyes widened and I looked up at Zack who mirrored my expression, shaking his head. That was a slight let down. "Come on, it's my birrtthhdaayyy. Please, Zacky?" Zack looked around, listening to all the screams, rolling his eyes. "Just one kiss on Mr. Iero's lips. I swear I wont ever bug you again." I couldnt believe Gerard was doing this. I was going to fucking kill him. He was making a fool of himself, myself, Zack, and our bands. Zack's tongue poked out from between his lips, licking them before he turned to me. Holy shit, what? I looked up, my mouth opening as I inhaled and exhaled short, shaky breaths. Zack stepped closer, putting his hands on either side of my face before he leaned down. The cool metal of his snakebites shot tingles through my body and as I closed the gap between our lips, my eyes fell closed. His lips moved against mine, parting slightly as his tongue brushed my lips. I froze, my eyes popping open as I looked at the taller man's face. His eyes were closed but as soon as he felt that I wasn't opening my mouth, he closed his mouth, and his eyes opened as he pulled away.
My face was probably as red as a lobster because I felt like my whole body was on fire. I was embarrassed and excited at the same time. All I know is that I couldn't wait for the show to end. Zack smiled at me before he ran off the stage and Gerard ruffled my hair. I glared at the older man before making my way back to my spot, looking over to see MShadows, JC, the Rev, and Syn just shaking their heads as they chuckled.
'I'm gonna kill him' I mouthed to them which made them laugh even harder, the Rev dropping to the floor. I looked down at the setlist, thankful that time was dwindling down so now Gerard wouldnt have time to talk.

We finished up the set with hardly any commentary from Gerard. As soon as he announced Avenged Sevenfold, I took off my guitar and ran to the side of the stage, shaking my head. I unplugged the guitar, handing it to my tech before I walked to our dressing room. I walked in and Zack was sitting on the couch, sipping a beer.
"God damn that was a great show, Frankie." Gerard said as he filed in behind me, grabbing my waist before pulling me back against him, unaware that we had company. I pulled away, earning a huff. "I can't please you can I? Am I not good enough anymore now that Za....Ohh..." he shut up and walked across the room. Zacky looked up with a confused look, trying to figure out what was going on.
"Gerard, you embarrassed me out there, tonight. I'm not sure if Zacky feels the same, but what you did was uncalled for." I crossed my arms over my chest and stood there.
"That's actually why I came here... I uhm... I hope that doesn't happen ever again..." Zacky said as he stood up. Gerard huffed again, being the diva he is, and walked out of the room.
"It won't." I said harshly. I wasn't mad at him, I was mad at Gerard. "And I'm sorry for his actions. He's gotten so out of control lately... You didn't have to play along in his little game... you actually kinda scared me there..." I half laughed. He chuckled lightly while shaking his head.
"Why do you say that?"
"I wasn't expecting it... I saw you shake your head no and I thought that was going to be the end of it..." he just shrugged before the door opened and in popped Jimmy's head.
"Zack, come on. Gotta warm up." Zacky nodded and walked past me with a smile before he left me alone to my thoughts.

This chapter REALLY sucks ass. I apologize! I role play on a forum that I created... well my one role play is a really dramatic Synacky and it's like the ONLY thing on my mind right now because I came up with a whole bunch of ideas to keep me and my partner busy and interested for a little while.I'm getting really excited for the club scene because if you know the hit music from 2004, it's a lot of crazy ass hip-hop, R&B, pop songs that actually fit the story line! As always, I give credit to the lyrics I use in each song, so for that chapter I advise you to listen to the songs as you read the update, just to get the FULL feel. I'm not saying that you HAVE to listen to them because I know that most of you wont, but it would make it fit better if you did, especially if you don't know the songs! (But we're about 2 chapters away from the club scene, so yeah...

Again, I apologize for such a shitty chapter update. I feel like shit for posting this, but I dont want you all to wait much longer for a reply. Maybe tonight I'll post ANOTHER chapter to make up for it!
