Finally meeting
Brian's POV
Truth be told,I didn't really feel like doing anything today.Not that for the past 1 year I actually felt excited by nothing except touring,but today I really only wanted to sleep all day long,and just do NOTHING.However the tour started soon,and we had to meet the band that we would tour with for the 11 next months.We would meet in LA,since that's where the tour would start.Our first show was in two days,and then we'd move all across the country,and after 3 months or something we would head out for Europe.There was even a tour date for Greece,a place we never played in before,something that was pretty cool..Jimmy always wanted to explore new places aroung the globe,and somehow i feel he is able to do that with us while on tour.I still feel him around us,in the bus or on stage..He's there,I know it.
So,yeah,the whole day involved just packing for the tour,getting everything done and making sure that every single thing worked perfectly.I got the job done pretty easily,of course no help from Michelle was offered,since obviously she needed to go ''out with the girls''.She assured me though,that she'd be there in the evening.just to say goodbye to me.Not that i really cared,though..
After everything was loaded in our bus,I sat at the back side of it and started smoking.The package was nearly done when I heard Matt and the others calling for me to get on the bus,since we were''fucking leaving immediately,we're already late''. I finished my last smoke and started heading towards the door,when i came face to face with my ''dear'' wife,also known as Michelle.
''Baby,didn't think you'd leave without me saying goodbye,right?'',she asked,pouting her sloppily pink painted lips.
Not really knowing what to do,i simply shrugged,receiving a light chuckle from her as she said to me.
'' Well baby i hate this part,Im soooo going to miss you....But don't worry,I'll be visiting you soo often,that you won't even understand you are away from home....the place where you belong..''she kissed my cheek,and added.
'' Don't forget...i love you..''and then smacked her lips on mine,spreading her disgusting lipgloss all over my mouth.
''Michelle,honey that's enough.''I tried saying,but only muffled sounds came out.''I said that's ENOUGH''i shouted as i pushed her away from me.Seriously it was getting difficult for me to breathe while being around that woman.
''Goodbye,Brian...''she said with a smirk,then turned around and simply just left.I stood dumbfounded,wondering whether my wife was retarted or simply stupid.On that thought I walked in the bus,where the guys already had their stuff settled,and had even picked their bunks.
Something that didn't really make any sense,since the bunk-seats were always the same.Mine was the one right across Jimmy's,that's the way it has always been like and the way it will forever be like...
So,I simply waved at everyone,nodded when they asked if everything was alright,and headed straight for my bunk.Once i reached it,i simply laid there,preparing my self to drift off to sleep.
As my eyes slowly closed,the last thing i heard was Matt's voice..
''...he's really not okay,guys, can't you all see that??...''

We reached the arena,where the show would be held,late in the evening.I didn't really even feel like opening my eyes,i felt bored and weak.Nevertheless,I had to,since obviously we all had to go and meet the members of Devilish Greens.So,I stood up,and headed for the bathroom.After taking a good look at my self,i decided I needed a shower,so I went for it.
After i was done,I decided to fix my hair,and apply just a small amount of eyeliner over my eyelids,just to make sure i didn't look completely awful.Then I just threw a simple black v neck and a pair of trousers on,and walked out of the bus,finding Matt,Johny and Zacky siting outside,all enjoying a beer.
''Hey,man,looking good I see..''Matt said,causing me to roll my eyes and ask for my beer.
''Here man,your favorite''he replied,smiling as he passed me the bottle.Truth be told everyone else besides me looked pretty awesome.They looked happy,because they were happy,i started thinking to myself,before Zacky's question to Matt brought me back to reality.
''So,Shads,when are we meeting them?''he asked.
''I say me and Brian go and ask them if they want to join us here for a beer.I know they have a female in the group,but we have soda,just in case..''he laughed at the last,making me chuckle.Its true,most women don't really drink much beer.
''Okay,Matt,let's go then...Im pretty sure they don't have all night.''I said,leaving my beer on the table.
Matt stood up,and we both started walking towards the bus of the other band.It looked much smaller than ours,but still awesome.Just like the one we used to have a few years ago,when Jimmy was still with us...
My thoughts were interrupted by Matt's hit on the door,something that caused a feeling of slight noesia rush though my stomach,for a reason i can hardly understand at the moment.
The door opened to reveal a man around my age,average looking in my opinion,who looked down to us with a pure look of confusion on his face.
''Who are you and what do you want?''he said.
''Hey man,we are from avenged sevenfold,and we wanted to ask all of you to come our for a beer with us,you know,get to know each other a bit..since we are going on tour for about a year or so...''
''Well we cant really come now,see you tomorrow..''the unknown man at the door answered,and then slammed the door of the bus straight in out faces.
Matt and I looked at each other,not really knowing what to do,as we started walking back towards our table.
''Well,seems they are not up for it really...''Matt said to the others,then proceeded to tell the others to move our little ''beer fest''in the bus,since it was starting to get kind of cold.Everyone agreed and we all walked inside our bus.
Sierra's POV
I just got out of the shower when i heard the door of our bus being violently shut down and some muttering coming from someone who i guessed was Jason.I got out and I found him sitting on the couch we had on the bus,staring angrily at the wall across him.
''Who was that,Jason..And why did you close the door straight to their faces?''I asked.
''They were 2 dudes from a7x...one called himself Matt or something.They wanted us to go grab a beer with them,and I said to them that we cannot do that now and that we'd see them tomorrow..''Jason replied casually,causing me to look at him like he had 2 heads.
''Are you serious? I mean,Jesus Christ,Jason!!!..I thought you had come in terms with the fact that we are touring with them,and that you'd actually be civil towards them..So,If you can't do that on your own,Im going to make you!I don't want anyone thinking that this band consists of assholes who don't even give damn about the band they are touring with!'' I said as calmly as I could.I took a deep breath and added.
''Now,Im going to get dressed and fix my self a little bit,and then all of us..'',I said motioning to Nick and Matt who had just stepped in the bus and were currently looking at Jason and I with a sheer look of confusion written all over their faces,''are going to go to the a7x's bus and meet them...of course after you,Jason,apologise to Matt and the rest of the guys...''I finished glaring at Jason,who was also glaring back at me.
''What the f**k happened?''Nick muttered,looking first at me and then Jason.
''Ask Jason,he'll definately know..''I replied to Nick,as I started making my way towards the bathroom.
''We are going to the a7x's bus in about 20 minutes...be READYYY'' I yelled at everyone as i got in the bathroom,locked the door and tried to fix my self.I must admit that I was pretty stressed and felt anxius about meeting the guys,especially one of them.Yeap,you guessed right..Synyster Gates to me seemed like the hottest person on earth,and also one of the best guitar players on earth.So ,at least ,I didn't want him to dislike me.Of course the story remained the same for all the other guys in a7x,since all of them are hot and talented.
I decided to go with a simple pair of jeans and a tight black top that fitted perfectly on my body.I straightened my hair,something that was really easy because my hair was naturally straight,I put on some make up and a little bit of eyeliner,and finished my look adding a light touch of red on my lips.Once I was done and satisfied with the result,I took a deep breath and got out of the bathroom,and I saw everyone,even Jason-surprise,surprise!-sitting on the couch waiting for me. Actually Nick and Matt looked kind of excited about meeting a7x, whereas Jason looked like he wanted to kill us all,kill everyone touring with us and then call Dave Mustaine and ask him to be in Megadeth....
''You do look beautiful,Sierra.''Nick said in a sweet tone,and Matt nodded with a smile.
''She always does...''Jason said while looking at me.''No matter what she does..''
''Thank you guys,you are all being soo f**king nice and cute'' I said as I walked and jumped over them,since they all were sitting next to each other.''And I want to say that I love you all so,so,soo much ''I smiled.''Even Jason..''I added,getting a confused look by Jason as he asked.
''What's so different about me?''
''Dude,you are definately not the easiest person for someone to love...''Matt added with a smirk,his reply had Nick laughing like a maniac.
''Bullshit,man....Anyways,let's go meet the damn guys ALREADY!''Jason shouted the last part making us all jump.
''Okay,Jason,okay....And it seemed like you didn't want to meet them at all..''I laughed as i opened the door of the bus,waiting for everyone to come out of it so I could lock the door.
''It's not that I want to meet them,I just want to get this over and done with..''he muttered in response.
''Well,whatever,don't forget that YOU need to apologise to the guys for being the rudest bastard ever!''I added as we approached the a7x's bus.We reached the door,and Jason knocked,since I was shaking slightly.Nick held my hand and mouthed something that seemed like''don't worry''.I smiled at him and silently thanked him,as the door finally opened...
Brian's POV
We were chilling in our nice,warm,comfortable bus when my phone rang..Of course,who else would it be?Michelle...F**king Michelle.I went in the back,where the bunks were,and answered the call.
''What do you want,Michelle?What the hell happened THIS time?''I said,anger evident in my voice.
''Oh,Brian,nothing,I just wanted you to know that I just came back from the night with the girls,and,well,I have some company with me...''she replied,and I knew that instant that the so-called company of hers was no female.
''And what do I have to do with it?''I quickly asked her,really wanting nothing more than for this phone call to just end.
''Well,he...uhm she wants us to go clubbing somewhere different this time..and the place is really expensive..and I have no money really..so I was wondering..''
''Well,what about the money I gave you two days ago,huh?Did they magically vanish somehow,Michelle?''I asked,my tone getting more intense by the second.At that time I heard a knock on our door,and from what I could tell Matt was the one who opened it,greeting our unexpected,obviously,guests.
''Uhm,baby,you see I had to buy those boots I found,and then also that awesome hat I found and that cardigan,they looked so cute and warm,because baby I really have nothing to wear these days..''
''Really Michelle?REALLY? Because my impression of ''nothing to wear'' really isn't a double wardrobe filled with clothes,one for every season!..''I shouted, clearly having lost any sense of self control.''So NO!Im NOT going to give you any money,Michelle! IM DONE! Im done pretending! Im DONE FAKING IT! ''I screamed,ending the call before Michelle could say anything more and then throwing my phone on the floor as I sat on the floor,silently mumbling any swear words that came into my head,shaking by the anger that had taken control over my body.
I sat there for God knows how long,until Matt stepped in,looking at me like he already knew what had happened.
''Fighting with Michelle again?''he asked
''Well,yeah,kind of...I don't know,Matt,I really don't....That's not the way my wedding was meant to be...not the way my life was meant to be...''I muttered,not really going anywhere with that.
''Well man,Im sure you are going to get through this...''he said,not really sounding like he was sure.''Anyways,you should really come outside....the guys and girl from Devilish Greens came over.They said they're sorry but Jason,apparrantly that's his name,thought we were some pranksters or something..''he added.
''Okay,man,Im coming..how do I look?''I smirked while standing up.
''You look good...dude..weird though..asking a man to say his opinion for your looks..''he replied,causing me to laugh loudly muttering a whatever..''You are the only person in the room,man.''I said,still laughing slightly.
''Whatever,dude,just come already..You really need to meet them,they seem rad,especially the girl....she's a hottie for sure..''Matt said as he started walking out of the room,not leaving,though,before winking at me.
I just rolled my eyes and checked myself in the mirror,making sure I looked decent.After splashing some water on my face,I decided it was time for me to get out already,and tried to shake off that really annoying feeling of anxiety that was building up inside of me,for no obvious reason.
So I walked out,and when I saw her,my legs froze,and I felt like my heart skipped a beat..
Sierra's POV
M Shadows,opened the door,and smiled at all of us,an akward smile making his way on his lips..
''So,you must be the band we are touring with,right?Devilish Greens?''he asked.
''Yeap that's us!''I replied,smiling at him.''Im Sierra,that's Nick and Matt,and the one you kind of met before is Jason''I introduced everyone.
''Well Sierra,and the rest,Im glad to meet you,Im Ma..''he started saying,before I cut him
''No need for introductions,I know who you are!M Shadows!I've been a fan of yours for a long time now''I said
''Well,that's just awesome,Sierra..Glad to know we have that awesome fans..not that we really didn't know that..''Matt said with a smile.''Why don't you guys,and girl,come in?Meet the rest of Avenged Sevenfold..we are going to be touring for a year anyways...Come,come..maybe grab a beer or something,we have plenty..''he gestured for us to come in,a smile evident on his face.
When we all were inside,he closed the door,and started the introductions.
''Well this is Zacky,that's Johny and..'',he was interrupted by a loud scream coming from somewhere behind him that seemed to say something like''faking it..'',''the person screaming must be Brian''he finished ackwardly.''Guys,this is Sierra,Nick,Matt and Jason''he added,pointing at each one of us.
''Aren't we lucky now,Matt?We are touring with a really nice looking lady,now aren't we Johnny?''Zacky said,really smoothly,obviously joking.''Im kidding,not that you are not super attrective,but Im a married man now'',he added with a smirk.''You,Johnny,are too,remember?''Zacky added,since the bassist was staring at me not saying anything.
''You are making her feel uncomfortable,Johnny,snap out of it!''Matt said,causing Johnny to jump a little bit and shake his head.
''Sorry,I just don't really see this type of women around here that often...Really I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable..Sierra..right?''he asked,and I nodded
''Don't worry about it.Johnny,I've heard and seen worse ''I added with a smirk.In the meantime,Nick and Matt had wasted no time finding the beers and grabbing two each.Jason,on the other hand,had only grabbed one,and he seemed like he was about to break the bottle upon Johnny's and Zacky's heads.
''Guys,take it easy,we have beer in hour bus too.'' I said,motioning to the two bottles of beer that had already become empty in front of Nick and Matt.
''No,guys,don't listen to her,there's plenty here''Zacky said.''We have as many as you guys want..hopefully''he added,taking a sip of his own bottle.
''We don't really know what ladies in bands drink,but my wife usually drinks soda, so we have some of that...''Matt said as he pointed at the cans that were on top of some beers.
''Well,Matt,I don't know what ladies drink either...I ,however,do drink beer.''I said as I dug in and found a bottle of my favourite beer.''And you seem to have my favourite right here''I added as I dug out a bottle of Flying Dog Gonzo.
''That's awesome,seems like we are a match made for heavens after all''Matt said with a smile..
''That's soo not-right''Jason mumbled,loud enough thankfully only for me to hear,and I shot a death glare at him.
We all soon started chatting about stuff ,generally talking about our lives and our bands.Even Jason seemed to be enjoying a conversation with Zacky,since they were both into comics and drawing stuff.At some time Matt stood up,saying he was going to get Brian-Synyster Gates that is-in the room in order to meet us.
After a while,Matt stepped in,and a few steps behind him came Syn,looking perfect-as always.I just looked at him before standing up,and moving towards me in order to introduce my self.He seemed,though,as If he had somehow frozen,he seemed unable to move.He just stared at me,saying nothing,doing nothing.
''Hi ,Im Sierra...''I said,hoping that would make him move a muscle or something,show me that he was,indeed,alive..
But,no,he didn't..and I started thinking that there was really something wrong with me..
Brian's POV
I really couldn't even speak,I just couldnt..And I didn't even hear her voice either...I just watched her mouth moving,her raid hair perfectly straight,her body,her lips,her mezmerising deep brown eyes...She was perfect,and I felt like I couldn't get my eyes off her..
''Man,you are emparrassing yourself and you make her feel uncomfortable...Johnny did the same thing minutes ago,c'mmon the poor girl must be terrified..''I heard Matt's voice coming from beside me..
''We-e-ell..Im..my name is..Br-r-r-r-..''I tried but nothing came out.
''C'mmon,are you stuttering now?''Matt asked in disbelief..''Anyways,Sierra,this is..''he tried to say,but I cut him
''Brian...My name is Brian...Or Syn...Or Gates...Or Bri...whatever you like ,really...''I said,and I was left with a stare from Matt,since he knew that I never let someone who was practically a stranger call me by my first real name,and a chuckling Sierra.

So I joined the rest of the group,and got to meet the other members of the band...Everyone seemed rad,except from that Jason guy that kept glaring at me all the time.I didn't really pay any attention on him,though,my eyes were glued on Sierra,and whatever she said or did seemed to really cause a rush of excitement in me..Like a breath of free,clear air..

Brian's POV
We were chilling in our nice,warm,comfortable bus when my phone rang..Of course,who else would it be?Michelle...F**king Michelle.I went in the back,where the bunks were,and answered the call.
''What do you want,Michelle?What the hell happened THIS time?''I said,anger evident in my voice.
''Oh,Brian,nothing,I just wanted you to know that I just came back from the night with the girls,and,well,I have some company with me...''she replied,and I knew that instant that the so-called company of hers was no female.
''And what do I have to do with it?''I quickly asked her,really wanting nothing more than for this phone call to just end.
''Well,he...uhm she wants us to go clubbing somewhere different this time..and the place is really expensive..and I have no money really..so I was wondering..''
''Well,what about the money I gave you two days ago,huh?Did they magically vanish somehow,Michelle?''I asked,my tone getting more intense by the second.At that time I heard a knock on our door,and from what I could tell Matt was the one who opened it,greeting our unexpected,obviously,guests.
''Uhm,baby,you see I had to buy those boots I found,and then also that awesome hat I found and that cardigan,they looked so cute and warm,because baby I really have nothing to wear these days..''
''Really Michelle?REALLY? Because my impression of ''nothing to wear'' really isn't a double wardrobe filled with clothes,one for every season!..''I shouted, clearly having lost any sense of self control.''So NO!Im NOT going to give you any money,Michelle! IM DONE! Im done pretending! Im DONE FAKING IT! ''I screamed,ending the call before Michelle could say anything more and then throwing my phone on the floor as I sat on the floor,silently mumbling any swear words that came into my head,shaking by the anger that had taken control over my body.
I sat there for God knows how long,until Matt stepped in,looking at me like he already knew what had happened.
''Fighting with Michelle again?''he asked
''Well,yeah,kind of...I don't know,Matt,I really don't....That's not the way my wedding was meant to be...not the way my life was meant to be...''I muttered,not really going anywhere with that.
''Well man,Im sure you are going to get through this...''he said,not really sounding like he was sure.''Anyways,you should really come outside....the guys and girl from Devilish Greens came over.They said they're sorry but Jason,apparrantly that's his name,thought we were some pranksters or something..''he added.
''Okay,man,Im coming..how do I look?''I smirked while standing up.
''You look good...dude..weird though..asking a man to say his opinion for your looks..''he replied,causing me to laugh loudly muttering a whatever..''You are the only person in the room,man.''I said,still laughing slightly.
''Whatever,dude,just come already..You really need to meet them,they seem rad,especially the girl....she's a hottie for sure..''Matt said as he started walking out of the room,not leaving,though,before winking at me.
I just rolled my eyes and checked myself in the mirror,making sure I looked decent.After splashing some water on my face,I decided it was time for me to get out already,and tried to shake off that really annoying feeling of anxiety that was building up inside of me,for no obvious reason.
So I walked out,and when I saw her,my legs froze,and I felt like my heart skipped a beat..
Sierra's POV
M Shadows,opened the door,and smiled at all of us,an akward smile making his way on his lips..
''So,you must be the band we are touring with,right?Devilish Greens?''he asked.
''Yeap that's us!''I replied,smiling at him.''Im Sierra,that's Nick and Matt,and the one you kind of met before is Jason''I introduced everyone.
''Well Sierra,and the rest,Im glad to meet you,Im Ma..''he started saying,before I cut him
''No need for introductions,I know who you are!M Shadows!I've been a fan of yours for a long time now''I said
''Well,that's just awesome,Sierra..Glad to know we have that awesome fans..not that we really didn't know that..''Matt said with a smile.''Why don't you guys,and girl,come in?Meet the rest of Avenged Sevenfold..we are going to be touring for a year anyways...Come,come..maybe grab a beer or something,we have plenty..''he gestured for us to come in,a smile evident on his face.
When we all were inside,he closed the door,and started the introductions.
''Well this is Zacky,that's Johny and..'',he was interrupted by a loud scream coming from somewhere behind him that seemed to say something like''faking it..'',''the person screaming must be Brian''he finished ackwardly.''Guys,this is Sierra,Nick,Matt and Jason''he added,pointing at each one of us.
''Aren't we lucky now,Matt?We are touring with a really nice looking lady,now aren't we Johnny?''Zacky said,really smoothly,obviously joking.''Im kidding,not that you are not super attrective,but Im a married man now'',he added with a smirk.''You,Johnny,are too,remember?''Zacky added,since the bassist was staring at me not saying anything.
''You are making her feel uncomfortable,Johnny,snap out of it!''Matt said,causing Johnny to jump a little bit and shake his head.
''Sorry,I just don't really see this type of women around here that often...Really I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable..Sierra..right?''he asked,and I nodded
''Don't worry about it.Johnny,I've heard and seen worse ''I added with a smirk.In the meantime,Nick and Matt had wasted no time finding the beers and grabbing two each.Jason,on the other hand,had only grabbed one,and he seemed like he was about to break the bottle upon Johnny's and Zacky's heads.
''Guys,take it easy,we have beer in hour bus too.'' I said,motioning to the two bottles of beer that had already become empty in front of Nick and Matt.
''No,guys,don't listen to her,there's plenty here''Zacky said.''We have as many as you guys want..hopefully''he added,taking a sip of his own bottle.
''We don't really know what ladies in bands drink,but my wife usually drinks soda, so we have some of that...''Matt said as he pointed at the cans that were on top of some beers.
''Well,Matt,I don't know what ladies drink either...I ,however,do drink beer.''I said as I dug in and found a bottle of my favourite beer.''And you seem to have my favourite right here''I added as I dug out a bottle of Flying Dog Gonzo.
''That's awesome,seems like we are a match made for heavens after all''Matt said with a smile..
''That's soo not-right''Jason mumbled,loud enough thankfully only for me to hear,and I shot a death glare at him.
We all soon started chatting about stuff ,generally talking about our lives and our bands.Even Jason seemed to be enjoying a conversation with Zacky,since they were both into comics and drawing stuff.At some time Matt stood up,saying he was going to get Brian-Synyster Gates that is-in the room in order to meet us.
After a while,Matt stepped in,and a few steps behind him came Syn,looking perfect-as always.I just looked at him before standing up,and moving towards me in order to introduce my self.He seemed,though,as If he had somehow frozen,he seemed unable to move.He just stared at me,saying nothing,doing nothing.
''Hi ,Im Sierra...''I said,hoping that would make him move a muscle or something,show me that he was,indeed,alive..
But,no,he didn't..and I started thinking that there was really something wrong with me..
Brian's POV
I really couldn't even speak,I just couldnt..And I didn't even hear her voice either...I just watched her mouth moving,her raid hair perfectly straight,her body,her lips,her mezmerising deep brown eyes...She was perfect,and I felt like I couldn't get my eyes off her..
''Man,you are emparrassing yourself and you make her feel uncomfortable...Johnny did the same thing minutes ago,c'mmon the poor girl must be terrified..''I heard Matt's voice coming from beside me..
''We-e-ell..Im..my name is..Br-r-r-r-..''I tried but nothing came out.
''C'mmon,are you stuttering now?''Matt asked in disbelief..''Anyways,Sierra,this is..''he tried to say,but I cut him
''Brian...My name is Brian...Or Syn...Or Gates...Or Bri...whatever you like ,really...''I said,and I was left with a stare from Matt,since he knew that I never let someone who was practically a stranger call me by my first real name,and a chuckling Sierra.
''Well,okay,thanks for the info,I'll make sure I remember your gazillion nicknames..''she added,making me automatically smile.(and thinking what the fuck is going on with me!)
So I joined the rest of the group,and got to meet the other members of the band...Everyone seemed rad,except from that Jason guy that kept glaring at me all the time.I didn't really pay any attention on him,though,my eyes were glued on Sierra,and whatever she said or did seemed to really cause a rush of excitement in me..Like a breath of free,clear air..
They had to leave,though,and after we all said our goodbyes,she promised we'd all hang out again tomorrow morning.And with that thought,I went straight to the bunks,a smile on my face I couldn't really explain..A smile that hadn't made its' way on my lips for far too long...
