Twisted Vegas

Matt's Pov:

I finish my reps then set the dumbbell down. A towel draped around my neck absorbs the sweat dripping down my head. Grabbing the end I swipe it across my face to clear away the rest.

I feel like I'm being watched causing my head to snap up. Brian is standing there staring at me. I'm surprised to see him here.

"Just wanted to make sure everything is alright." Brian explains.

"It is." I tell him. His face tells me he doesn't believe a single I say.

"The way you have been acting lately isn't like you at all." He states. I nod unsure of what to say. Brian clears his throat.

"If you change your mind you know where to find me." Brian says walking out.

Brian's Pov:

As I drove home my mind went over the visit to Matt's.

My house comes into view quickly. I pull into the driveway, shut my car off and make my way inside.

Heading straight for the shower I don't even pause to chat with Michelle. My hand reaches into the shower turning the nozzle to maximum heat. I quickly rid myself of clothing then climb in. The heat immediately relaxes my muscles. My thoughts drift back to Matt. It's clear he's still on edge about becoming a father.

Knowing that it won't help my mind I shut the water off. I wrap a towel around my hips making my way to the bedroom. I'm pulling my boxer shorts up when the phone rings.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hello, Mr. Haner it's Ryan Vago." Comes Ryan's voice through the hand set.

"Do you have news then?" I ask.

"Yes I do. Unfortunately there is no information about your wife yet. However I did find out that while you were in Las Vegas, a friend of yours also got married." Ryan informs me.

I fall onto my bed. I'm too stunned to say anything.

"I'll keep digging Mr. Haner." Ryan says after a few minutes of silence.

"Of course. Thank you." I hang up.

One of the guys also got married to someone while in Vegas. My mind was officially blown. I was reeling.

"Is everything okay?" Michelle asks walking into the room. I just shrug.

Who had gotten married? Which of the guys was keeping this secret? Why had whoever this is not said anything? If I was being honest I was jealous that it hadn't gotten out about that person instead of me. I shake my head. There's a reason this guy hasn't spoken up. Plus there's no guarantee that he would have handled it the way I have been. I knew deep down that I didn't wish this on any of the others.

I'm suddenly angry at myself for hoping it had been one of the guys. None of us wanted or needed this drama. I forced all this from my head then climbed into bed. Michelle wraps her arms around me.

"Whatever it is everything will turn out just fine." Michelle says pecking my lips.

I turn off the lamp. It takes about an hour for me to fall asleep.

Pinkly covers me in kisses making sure I'm awake. My alarm clock tells me I could have slept ten more minutes but Pinkly is persistent. Trudging down stairs I let Pinkly out to do her business. She finishes quickly then trots back in. I head upstairs.

Twenty minutes later I'm ready for the day. On my way to the studio I decide that no matter what I was getting answers today.
