Twisted Vegas

Chapter 10

Hesitantly the man opens the door and walks in.
"Hello please have a seat." The female therapist offers with a smile. The man takes the chair.
"Why are you here today Mr. Sanders?" She questions glancing down to check her new patient's name.
Mr. Sanders eyes the woman with uncertainty. He takes a deep breath.
Matt's Pov:
I'm sitting across from the therapist. I take a deep breath.
"I didn't know who else to turn to. I know none of my friends and family would understand."
She remains quiet pushing me to continue.
"While we were in Las Vegas I married my best friend and band mate Brian Haner Junior." I blurt out. My eyes squeeze shut to avoid her probing gaze.
"I'm sorry to say our time is up." She informs me.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. As I walked out to my car I silently thanked whatever or whoever was looking after me.
My cell phone blares alerting me to an in-coming call.
"He..."
"Matt Brian is in the hospital." Comes Val's voice.
"I'm on the way." I say ending the call.
The needle slowly increases on the speedometer as my foot hammers the gas pedal into the floor. In no time flat I'm pulling into the hospital parking lot.
It's not hard to spot our friends and family the second I race through the doors. Michelle explains how she had gone for groceries and when she came home Brian was laying out cold on the kitchen floor. She called 911. All any of us could do now was wait.
The ticking of the clock was just about to send me straight to a padded room when the doctor finally came to inform us about Brian.
"Mr. Haner has some slight swelling in his brain as well as a concusion. We'll have to keep him here for a few days to make sure he's alright. You can see him but not for long. He needs his rest." The doctor takes us to the room Brian is in.
There was barely enough time for all of us to see Brian before a nurse was telling us that we had to leave so Brian could get his rest.
Five days later Brian was allowed to go home as long as he took it easy and didn't stress himself out.
* * *
Brian's Pov:
Memories from that night came back in bits and pieces at first then it seemed the second the doctor told me the swelling was gone it was like a flood gate had opened.
Matt and I had married each other in Vegas.
I could vividly remember the two of us still covered in sweat in the after glow of sex kissing passionately as we held the other close. The look Matt gazed at me with clearly told me he loved me with every fiber of his being.
It has been two and a half months. Just thinking about Matt made me anxious.
I have been doing everything in my power to avoid Matt at every turn.
My cell phone rings. Jimmy's name flashes across the screen.
"Hello?" I question bringing the phone to my ear.
"Hey. Everyone is meeting at my house. Shadz called a meeting. He needs to talk about something."
"Alright." I answer.
"Be here in an hour." Jimmy tells me ending the call.
*
I walked into Jimmy's house. The others were already here. Of course the only seat avalible is right next to Matt.
"Val told me I might not be the father." Matt says.
After I got over the initial shock I felt like a complete and total asshole. I'd been so focused on my issues that I hadn't even realized Matt was having troubles of his own.
I wanted to punch myself for not being the friend I should have in Matt's time of need. It hit me like ten tons of bricks.
I needed to suck it up. I needed to man the fuck up and face this head on. Hiding away like a wimp wasn't doing anyone any good.
Matt's Pov:
I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to know. Was the baby actually mine?
Val's doctor said it would take a week for the results to be mailed. It's been 12 days. I feel like I'm loosing it. The ding of the door bell pulls me from my thoughts. Jimmy is standing there holding an envelope.
He walks right past me into the livingroom. I shut the door then head back to the livingroom as well.
"Sit down." Jimmy's voice leaves no room for argument. "I know what's going on. You need to man the fuck up and talk to Brian."
My mouth drops open. I'm completely and utterly speechless. I stare at Jimmy.
"If you don't do something I will." With that Jimmy drops the envelope and takes his leave.

Narrator's Pov:
"I take you Matthew Charles Sanders as my lawfully wedded husband."
"I take you Brian Elwin Haner Junior as my lawfully wedded husband."
"I now pronounce you husbands." The priest turns to the crowd. "I present to you Mr's. Sanders-Haner."
Matt and Brian share their first kiss as spouces.
As they walk hand-in-hand down the aisle Brian picks up their three year old daughter, Willow Savannah Rose Sanders-Haner.
The family made their way back to their house. Willow giggled as her daddies swong her back and forth as the traveled the walk way up to the front door.
They all lived happily ever after.

Yes the unknown pov is Matt. As for what happened to Brian it's really what ever your imagination chooses to come up with. I should have been more clear Willow is the baby but she is three when they get married, and yes she is Matt's daughter. Sorry for the confusion!
