Today is the day. My boys will finally be home. I was currently at Zack’s house with Lily, watching her unpack all of her pictures. She decided to move in before the tour ended so she didn’t have to worry about wasting “precious alone time” with Zee once he came home. “How does that look?” she asked, tilting her head to the side to look at a group of frames on the bookshelf. “Lil. It looks fine. Stop freaking out, jeeze.” I huffed, rolling my eyes. “I just want things to look perfect in here. You don’t have to worry about it because Brian is going to help you do everything.” she grumbled. “You’re the eager beaver here Lil, not me.” I chuckled, throwing a couch pillow at her. “Hey! You stop that!” she laughed, throwing the pillow back at me. “Okay, we have to hurry and finish. The guys will be home in a few hours, and we’re all supposed to be at Matt’s by 3.” I said, standing up to help. We quickly finished unpacking her belongings and I headed back to Brian’s house to get ready.

When I walked into the door I had a huge smile on my face. Brian would be home tonight. I wouldn’t have to sleep in his bed alone. Our bed. Everything seemed like it was falling into place for me. I had all my courses picked out, and I went to orientation a few days ago. I talked to Brian every day, three or four times a day. Jimmy called me at least once. I chuckled to myself, remembering the phone call I received on Tuesday night while I was at Val‘s house for girls‘ night. “Helloo lover boy” I smiled, answering my phone. “BROOKLYN ELIZABETH SULLIVAN! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE” Brian yelled drunkenly into the phone. “Babe, how much have you actually had to drink” I laughed, “well, uh, I’m not really sure. We started drinking right after the show, so I’ve had….a lot.” he said confused. “But that doesn’t not matter! What are you doing baby?” he slurred, making me laugh. “Having a girls night. We’re drinking margaritas and watching cheesy movies.” “Ooooh, what are you watching? The Notebook? That’s super cheese” he chuckled to himself. “No smartass. We’re watching the Twilight movies.” I laughed. “TWILIGHT?! WHO THE HELL EVEN WATCHES THAT ANYMORE?!” he shouted, the girls started laughing, being able to hear his voice even though I didn’t have the phone on speaker. “You’re insane Bri.” I laughed. “What’s JimJam doing?” I asked, and heard a ton of shuffling and a “damnit!” from Brian in the background. “BEAAAANIEEEEEEE!” Jimmy shouted into the phone, “JimmyJaaaaam! I was just asking about you!” I said excitedly. “I know, sorry I didn’t call you today, I totally forgot while I was downing shots of Jack” he said with a hint of guilt. “Aw Jim it’s okay, you’re talking to me now. Besides, you’ll be home in a few daaaays” I sang happily. “That’s right! I totally forgot about that! Man, I’ve been forgetting everything today..” he trailed off as I laughed. “Ouch! Oh shit! I gotta go Bean, your boyfriend is abusing me, love youuu!” he sang into the phone before there was more shuffling and cussing “Hey! Stop that! Johnny! You’re drinking all the Jack!” Brian shouted as I held the phone away from my ear and laughed. “Sorry babe.” he slurred into the phone. “Oh! Guess what! I’ll be home soon, which means you’re moving in my house soon and I’m locking you in our bedroom!” he said excitedly “OH COME ON SYN THAT’S MY SISTER! I NEED BLEACH FOR MY EARS! OH MY GOD MY EARS!” I heard Jimmy shouting in the background. “Good grief, how much has he had to drink?” I laughed “A whole lot. Trust me. Anyway, yeah, you’re moving in with me! Yay!” He cheered. “Oh fuck. Baby I gotta go, Zack is gonna kill me for eating all his cupcakes. I love you my beautiful girl!” “I love you too Bri, be careful baby.” I laughed as the phone disconnected. The next day when I talked to the boys they were extremely hungover and grouchy. It was hilarious, listening to them whine about their headaches when I would talk really loud on purpose. “Oh come on babe, that hurts” Brian would whine, while I laughed evilly. Those boys are my world, I know I’d be nothing with Jim or Brian.

I walked upstairs and into Brian’s huge closet, where I already had some clothes stored. I grabbed my favorite skinny jeans with holes and a black tube top. I quickly showered and made sure I shaved before getting out. I piled my hair into a towel, threw on my clothes, and started on my makeup. I did the usual smoky eye and red lipstick. I dried and straightened my hair, and used an extra squirt of perfume. I grabbed my black strappy sandals and put them on along with my black sparrow necklace, the bracelet that Brian bought me, and my black diamond earrings. Once I was ready I grabbed my purse, gave Pinkly a kiss, and headed to Matt’s house.

The guys were supposed to be pulling up any minute, and I was bouncing with nerves. I was so excited to see Brian. I couldn’t wait to just hug him and kiss him. I definitely wasn’t letting him go on tour without me anymore, I missed him way too much. I had just went to the bathroom, and as I was opening the door I heard a squeal coming from the living room and the front door open. I quickly walked to the front of the house and saw the tour bus outside. The girls went racing out the door, while I walked calmly to wait for Brian to get off the bus. Matt and Val came off first, walking over to give Lily a hug. Johnny was next, and then Zack, who made a beeline for Lil. And then there was Brian. As soon as I saw him I took off into a sprint, leaping into his arms. “Hey baby girl” he chuckled as he buried his face in my hair. “I missed you so much, I’m so happy your home!” I said excitedly, tears pricking my eyes. “I missed you too” he said as he pulled away to look at me. “You look beautiful B. Your hair grew out.” “Bri, I really don’t think it grew out, it’s only been a month. And why are you still talking? Shut up and kiss me” I said as I eagerly placed my lips on his. A kiss from Brian was exactly what I needed. It was full of love and passion, and it turned my insides to goo. I seriously loved this man. “Alright alright you two knock it off so I can see my sister” Jimmy said behind us. My face lit up as I jumped out of Brian’s arms and tacked my brother to the ground. “JIMMYJAM! I MISSED YOUR AMAZING FACE!” I shouted in his ear. “Bea, I’m pretty sure you just busted an eardrum” he chuckled, “I missed you too.” “Gosh we have so much to catch up on! I registered for my classes and went to orientation and oh my god I’m so happy you guys are home!” I rambled, making all the guys laugh. “BEANIE WEENIE!” Johnny shouted as he ran up to give me a hug “JOHNNY WONNY! I missed you too! I love it when you guys come home” I laughed, squeezing my other best friend tightly. After receiving hugs from Zack and Matt we all headed back into Matt’s house. We ordered takeout from our favorite Chinese restaurant and had a huge family dinner. “Okay, let’s all head home, we’ll reunite with our loved ones and then party tomorrow.” Johnny suggested, throwing an arm over Lacey’s shoulder. We all said our goodbyes and headed home. Once Bri and I got back to his house he threw his bags in the living room, saying he would get to those tomorrow. He gave Pinkly a quick hello and a kiss, and dragged me upstairs.
