The economy class had felt like it took forever to end but during that time I noticed that Lexi was practically glued to her pencil and notebook. That girl seriously has some talent when it comes to drawing!

Lexi grabbed my hand as soon as the bell rang and dragged me out to the schoolyard. We then sat down next to a couple of trees.

“So, what was weird about yesterday?” she wondered.

“Okay, well yesterday I almost got raped by a drunk guy and Matt sorta saved me… Which I think is weird cause he’s been a prick to me for the past years. Then at the end of the night he hugged me good bye… Ok, that’s just a quick summary of what happened but seriously, Matt’s changed like that fast in a couple of days” I explained as I snapped my fingers to show how fast he changed.

“Yea, I kinda noticed ya know? I agree it is weird but still.. he saved ya! That’s cool!” she exclaimed excitedly.

I sighed rather loudly, actually louder than I intended which cause Lexi to look up at me worriedly. I haven’t known her for long at all but she’s already a really good friend of mine. I like her a lot but I am worried that I am telling her too much, too fast…

“There’s something else isn’t it?”

“Yeah… Today when I got here I saw a note on my locker and the message was kind of disturbing and confusing.” I said and reached in my back pocket to pick up the note.

“Here” I muttered as I gave it to her.

“Duuude on rainbows and monkey horses” she exclaimed a bit pissed.

I snorted as I tried to suppress my laughter.

“This is weird, do you have clue who might have written that?” she asked.

I shook my head no and started thinking. I don’t know a lot of people here and especially don’t want a boyfriend or anything so who really sees me as a threat and why? God, this is gonna be on my mind for a while. I got snapped out of my thoughts by Lexi piercingly squealing Jimmy’s name.
I looked up and yes, there Jimmy was with the rest of the guys walking behind him as he ran up to his girlfriend.

They all sat down next to us, forming a circle and I saw Matt eyeing me as he sat down next to me.

“What’s up?” Zacky asked.

“not much, just discussing a note Amy got” Lexi announced.

“What note?” Jimmy asked and looked at me curiously.

I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and replied “Noth-“ until Lexi cut me off.

“A person who threatened her or something.. Here I have the note” she said and handed Jimmy the note.

He looked a bit surprised and shrugged it off.

“Eh, would be too surprised… High school is full of jealous bitches and Ames-Fames you are my play-toy” he shouted happily and bounced up and down.

The note got passed around.
“Yeah but what reason do people have to be jealous of me for?” I muttered as I ripped small pieces of grass out of the ground.

“Duuuuh, your voice” Jimmy scoffed.

“Yeaaaa, riiight. How can they be jealous of that when the only people who heard it are you guys, except Lexi and Jacob?” I asked him as I tilted my head to the side eyeing him curiously.

I think I heard Matt mutter ‘….beautiful’ or something while Zacky talked.

“Just ignore this piece of shit ok? I mean… If something happens th-”

“Hey Ames” Jacob shouted from the other side of the yard. I got up and mumbled ‘be right back’ before I ran over to him.

“Hiiii!” I said and gave him a hug.

“How’s it going with them?” he asked.

“Good, I guess. We’re discussing a note I got”

“What note?” he asked.

“Some person wrote to me ‘Back of bitch, he’s mine and you know it’. Confused the shit out of me
I’ll tell ya” I explained.

“Esh, if they cause you any trouble I’ll kick their asses” he huffed and flexed his biceps which made
me laugh.

I then jumped on his back, deciding that I should get a piggy back ride.

“To the… villagers!” I exclaimed excitedly as Jacob began walking.. or should I say galloping slowly towards Lexi and the rest.

“Look at my horse!” I shouted for the crew to hear as they looked at us surprised. I jumped off Jacob. Jimmy got up and then he took my hand and whispered about something I should do.
I then jumped on Jimmy’s back and started singing (horribly if I might add)

Look at my horse, my horse is amazing!
Over and over, most of the guys tried to hide their faces since they clearly redden but Lexi and Jacob rolled the grass laughing.

Matt snorted which attracted all attention to him, earning confused looks from Me, Zacky, Lexi and Jimmy whilst the others just had a blank expression on their faces.

“What?” he snapped.
We all just shrugged and sat impatiently waiting for somebody to speak. That somebody was Matt.

“I think I know who wrote this… I mean who else here uses pink notes and likes to get what she wants?” he said.

“Serena” Lexi muttered.

“What about Serena?” Marie-Anne questioned as she plopped down in Brian’s lap. Luisina followed her moves and sat down in Zacky’s lap.

We all muttered our ‘hey’ and went back to discussing the note.

“eh… First of all, why does Serena feel like I have something that’s hers?”

“Well, that’s because somebody here likes you and she’s been after him for like 2 yea-“ Jimmy started but Matt interrupted him. “Shut up!”

“okay, well I gotta head to class… Jacob, you coming?” I asked as I stood up, brushing the dirt of my pants.

“Yeah”

I waved good bye and left with Jacob.

When I got to my next class I spotted Issa who sent me a small smile, I sat down next to her and we started talking right away.

“So… any hobbies?” she wondered.

“Not that many… I play instruments sometimes, you?”

“I sing a bit but that’s it I guess… Hey! We should jam sometimes” she laughed.

“Uh, yeah” I laced my fingers together and looked down at my lap.

I felt something tap my back, I turned around and spotted a crumbled note on the floor. I unfolded it and read it.
Back off. I’ve warned you once, this is the second time. Leave him alone.

I looked around the classroom when I spotted Serena and locked eyes with her. She had a mischievous grin on her face and raised an eyebrow when I looked at her confused.

What? Who and what are you talking about?

I replied and tossed back the letter. She read it and then looked up and gave me “bitch-you-kidding-me-right? Look.

Matt. Back off.
I started laughing when I read her response which gained the class attention… I waved them off and I answered.
He’s all yours. Trust me I don’t want anything to do with him, especially in that way.

I smirked when she looked up from the note at me.

I really don’t want anything to do with him that way… I barely want to know him after what he’s done to me.
