Nightmare

"He just couldn't have shown me the fight, could he?" I grumbled.
"Gates didn't show me either," Brian sighed.
"Same with Anti," Johnny mumbled.
~Ya know, you guys weren't that bad of a band. Too bad you'll all be dead. Your pain's what we desire too. Was this written about us?~ Vengeance asked.
"Nothing was written about you, asshole," I grumbled.
"Ya know, I hate being called an asshole, even though I am," he told me, slamming me against the wall by my throat."Best not do that during the fight," he growled. "Or you'll be dead before Sarah can see you die," he added, smirking, before letting me fall to the ground, coughing. "Oh, and it's tomorrow," he told, us.
"Hey, Vengeance! If I'm going to die tomorrow, let me see Sarah. Kinda like a man's final supper, only no food."
~Oh, I guess I could.~
Everything became blurry.
~I'll just have her chained by her arm. Now you can't say I'm not a nice guy!~ He laughed. ~It may hurt more to see her the day before you die anyways.~
My vision cleared and I was in a room about the same size Johnny, Brian and I were stuck in.
She was laying on a bed, her arm chained to it.
"Sarah..."
She looked at me and tried to run over.
"Why are you in here? Nobody's been in here before!" She said, as I went to her.
I put my arms around her and held her tightly.
She clung to me.
"I have a plan," I told, her. "That's why Vengeance let me see you."
"What is it?" She asked, still clinging.
"I really don't want to tell you...I just want to spend as much time with you as possible. I want you to know how I've loved you for a long time. You're the best person anyone could be blessed to know and I'm so glad I got to be the one who got to know you."
She leaned back and looked up at me.
"Zacky...what's your plan? You're acting as if you're going to die!"
I was silent. I had no clue what to say.
"Zacky, don't do anything that could kill you! Please!" She begged, her eyes filled with tears.
"I have no choice, I can't back out..." I told, her.
She clung to me, tighter.
"Please, beg or something!"
"Sarah, I can't! I have to do something to save you! You don't deserve any of this! You deserve a long and happy life!"
"I won't be happy if you're dead! I could never be happy without you...I love you...I love you more than anything. I might as well die if you do."
"I promise, I won't lose!" I told, her. "Now please, I need to spend some time with you..."
She nodded before she sat down on the bed.
She kissed me when I sat next to her.
I put my arms around her waist, brought her as close as possible and kissed her back.
I didn't want to let go of her. I wanted to keep our lips connected to never lose her.
Truthfully, I was worried I would die and doom her for an eternity with Shadows.
"Remember when we first met?" I asked.
"How could I not? You almost dropped your guitar when I came in," she said.
"Hey, you would have too if an angel came in your garage!"
She shoved me and blushed.
"It's true. You just have to be an angel. Nobody could be sweeter or more beautiful than an angel," I told, her.
She kissed me.
"You really are the most beautiful and caring woman I have ever met," I told, her. "You mean the world to me. Seeing you here is just killing me. It kills me to see your eyes void of joy and laughter...your eyes are becoming blank, Sarah, even your voice is changing. It's like you're dying right in front of me..." I said, sadly. "You wouldn't be here if I hadn't kissed you back...it's my fault you're here and I have to save you!"
She put her arms around me.
"You didn't know this would happen."
"I know," I said, before she kissed me.
Brian's P.O.V.
"If I do something, will you let Kara, Sarah, Lily, Johnny and I go?" I asked, Gates, while Johnny and Zack were gone.
"Oh my. Are you thinking of betraying one of your buddies?"
"If it gets us out, yes," I told, him.
"Hmm...let's talk in more privacy," he told, me before everything became blurry and I ended up in some room.
"I'll do whatever you want to Zack, just let us go," I told, him.
"You are a terrible friend," Shadows laughed.
"Zack is the terrible friend. Let us go and I'll do whatever you want me to do to him. Just let us go. And Val," I told, him.
",,,Fine, I like betrayal," he said, before tossing me a vial. "I'll have Vengeance and Anti put Zachary and Johnathan to sleep and you can give him this. Tomorrow Vengeance will barely have to do anything. Zachary will be overcome by excruciating pain that he will slowly die from," he told, me.
I looked to the ground.
"Do you want your loved ones and yourself to be freed?" Shadows asked.
I nodded.
"Then pour that down his throat. Nobody will know you handed over one of your friends." he said. "Just know, you all have to watch. And if you change your mind, you will be the one to take his place," he told, me, grinning evilly.
"Fine," I told, him, forgetting Sarah's idiot love for Zack.
"At the end of your life, however long you're going to live, you will become one of us," he told, me.
"...Fine."
Shadows smirked, before I was back in the cell.
"Where were you?" Johnny asked.
"Gates let me see Kara..." I lied. "I'm going to make sure we get out."
Just not Zack. We won't die because of him.
Zacky's P.O.V.
"I promise, I will do everything I can to get us out! And when we do, I want you to be my girlfriend! I want to marry you some day and have a family!" I told, her, starting to choke up after she told me she loved me, again. "I love you, Sarah!"
Sarah looked in to my eyes, her eyes full of glee and hope.
"I dream of that everyday and night!" She told, me after we passionately kissed and held onto each other, tightly.
"NO!" I yelled, as she started to blur. "Let me stay, Vengeance!" I begged, before I was back in the cell.
I fell on the bed, wanting to feel her against me again, kissing me with her perfect lips.
"Shit. You get to see Kara and you get to see Sarah, but I don't get to see Lily! What the shit?" Johnny yelled.
"Crybaby," Anti sighed, before him and Johnny disappeared.
"You okay?" I asked, Brian.
He was avoiding looking at me and his foot was tapping like crazy.
"Just wonderful. One of my best friends has doomed us all to death and sex slavery," he growled, before glaring at me.
I decided to not say anything. I didn't want to fight and I was suddenly exhausted.
Brian's P.O.V.
I got off my cot and walked to Zack's sleeping body.
My heart raced, partly guilty, partly worried I was going to get fucked over and kill one of my best friends for no reason. Of course he was going to die tomorrow anyways. No way could any of us kill Gates, Anti, or Vengeance and certainly not Shadows., as I opened his mouth a poured the dark brown sludge-like substance down his throat.
"Sorry, Zack. I had to," I sighed, as Gates took the vial.
"And you guys call us demented fucking assholes," he laughed, before disappearing.
"How is he sleeping?" Johnny asked, awhile later, when Anti brought him back.
"No clue," I said, with a shrug.
"I hope his plan works so Lily, Sarah and Kara are safe," he sighed. "And us," he added.
SHIT! Sarah has to watch! Fuck!
My heart raced quicker.
It's okay, she'll get over it...eventually.
"Yeah."
Sarah's P.O.V.
Oh God I hope I get to be with Zacky! God I hope I do! I thought, tearing up.
Images of Zacky and I together flashed through my mind. Images of us dating, images of him proposing, images of our wedding, images of having kids with him, with his amazing green eyes and images of us growing old together. Images I had yearned for for so long that seemed a bit closer, as long as Zacky's plan worked.
I will just die if he dies to save me! I thought, becoming terrified those images might never become reality.
