Today I got a letter in the mail from my favourite band... Avenged Sevenfold. I entered a contest to win backstage passes and tickets to the show and I won! I can't believe this. This is the best day of my life. The concert is in a 2 weeks but I'm hoping I end up seeing the band around town or something since we all live in Huntington Beach, CA.


*2 weeks later*

AHHHHHH TODAY IS THE DAY. I'M GOING TO SEE AND MEET AVENGED SEVENFOLD LIVE IN CONCERT. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS.
"Hey so this is kinda late notice buuuuuuuut... there's this concert I'm going to tonight and I have backstage passes and ugh Val you're my best friend please tell me you can come with me." I say hesitantly.
"Of course I can! I wouldn't let my best friend go to her favourite band's show ALONE. Hell no! I'm coming with!"
"Ahhhhh thank you soooooooo much Val!!! Can you drive there.. my parents took my car away for the day so I don't do anything stupid since i'm so excited.."
"DUH! Anything for an excuse to use my dad's convertible." Val says as she winks.
As i'm getting ready I realize i'm not sure what to wear.. I have so many options. I have all of Avenged's merch and I can't decide what to wear. This is killing me.

So I finally decided on a pair of black high waisted shorts with fishnet stockings and my A7X Engine Skull shirt. I'm ready to meet these guys and we're not even there yet. Wow. This is my life right now. It's a Sunday and I can't believe i'm going to school tomorrow after meeting my favourite band. This is awesome.

We're finally here. We get to go backstage before the show so we're rushing to the backstage entrance.

Wow. The guys look so good. Oh my god. Johnny Christ is looking at me. He's giving me a look. Oh no he's walking over here...

"Hi Johnny, I'm Jessica"
"Hey Jess. So are you excited to be here?"
"FUCK YEAH. Haha it's my first show of yours even though i'm from here too..." I say.
"Well I'll make sure you get to go to our next one too. Can't have one of our biggest fans only go to one of our shows now can we?" Johnny says with a smirk.

Matt walks over to us.
"Hey Johnny who's this?" Matt says.
"This is Jess, she has every merch item we have.. and this is her first show of ours."
Matt and Johnny look at each other and give one another a look. Matt starts talking to me as I notice Johnny checking me out; I can't help but blush.
"So Jess, how would you feel about coming on stage and singing your favourite song with us?" Matt says excitedly.
"UHM I'D FUCKING LOVE THAT." I say.
"Well good thing you know us.. what's your favourite song anyways?" Johnny asks.
"Dear God, I just love the lyrics to that one so much."
"Good thing that one's on our setlist." Matt says as he looks at Johnny with a slight smirk.

They're so good live. I can't believe i'm here. Zacky is smiling at me. All I can do is blush......... Oh no..... Dear God is next...
"And we'd like to call onstage our new friend Jessica!" Matt yells.
I creep on stage as the crowd roars.
"This is her first show of ours and we'd like to make it one she'll never forget. So she's going to be singing our next song with us.. which is also her favourite. So here we go.. Dear God!"

After being onstage all I can think about was how amazing that felt to sing infront of a crowd. And i'm spewing my thoughts about Johnny and being onstage with him to Val.

The shows over and Johnny and I have been talking quite a bit. He invited me to hang out with him tomorrow around 3:30.. of course I say yes. I wonder why he wants to hang out with me..... I just hope it's not just us.
