You hit the water at a dead run, everybody behind you almost bowling you over as you dove under the waves. Breaching the surface you slicked your layered hair back out of your eyes and looked for your chicken partner. It seemed everyone had followed your lead and dove under the water so you waited for everyone to surface so you could find Jimmy. You looked out onto the shore and saw Johnny dragging his beach chair closer to the water's edge, guess he was playing ref for the game. Which was good, since you and the guys tended to get a little competitive, especially when you all had been drinking. A pair of cold hands encircled your waist and you let out a yelp in surprise.

"Hey gorgeous," a family voice said from behind you, their hands still on your waist.

"Hey yourself," you grinned up at Jimmy as you reached up to push his wet hair off of his face and out of his eyes so he could see what he was about to be doing.

"Ready?" he asked you once you had finished your ministrations.

You simply breathed in quickly and nodded your head yes and squeezed your eyes shut, preparing yourself for what was to come next. You let out a little squeak when you felt Jimmy hoist you up into the air, luckily he had squatted down in the water first so the distance to his shoulders wasn't as far as normal. As he whipped you up and around and onto his shoulders you settled your legs on either side of his head and settled your center of gravity so you wouldn't fall off. Once you were settled you let yourself breathe again and watched the antics going on around you in the water. You watched as your brother effortlessly threw Katie up and onto his shoulders before she could even blink once. Katie was small, but still he threw her like she weighed less then a rag doll. Oh to be a gorilla you guessed. What caught your eye the most was the debacle that was Syn and Zacky trying to work things out for chicken.

"Fucker just lift your leg more and don't pull my hair in the fucking process," you heard Syn yell at Zacky who looked to be struggling a bit.

You watched as Zacky made another attempt at getting onto Syn's shoulders, following Syn's instructions. He got about as far as getting one leg up and around Syn's shoulder but must have miscalculated because he ended up sideways on Syn. Syn only had time to let out a garbled sound of stress before the two of them went under water with much thrashing, sputtering and swearing. Much to the amusement of those around them you saw. Everyone, including Johnny on the shore, was laughing uncontrollably at them as the resurfaced again, spitting water out of their mouths and clearing their eyes for another attempt.

"Do you think we should tell them the easy way to go about this?" you whispered down to Jimmy, not wanting anyone else to hear you.

"Nah, this is too much fun to watch. Let's give them another go or so before we say anything," Jimmy offered up to you as he raised his face to grace you with an evil grin.

"Mischievous little bastard aren't you?" you joked down at Jimmy, fixing the hair your trip to his shoulders had mussed. He really and truly was your everything, you couldn't imagine a world without him in it. Or a "you" for that matter, you didn't think you could function in a world without his light.

"I learned from the best Kales Mae," Jimmy said in response, sounding rather proud of himself since he couldn't puff up his shoulders with you riding on them.

"I'm so flattered," you joked as you batted your eyelashes at him dramatically.

"I was referring to your brother," Jimmy added with a wink.

"Ass," you chided before smacking the back of his head.

"Careful or I will dump you right back into the ocean and not lift you back up again. And then I'll decide that Syn would be a better partner for Chicken and leave you to Zacky," Jimmy sang at you evilly. You simply grumbled wordlessly and folded your arms across your bikini clad chest and watched Syn and Zacky go at attempt number four or so.

"Guys, guys, guys!" Katie shouted from atop your brother's shoulders.

Syn and Zacky both stopped floundering in the water long enough to look way up at her.

"Why doesn't Syn just squat down under the water, holding his breath, while Zacky quickly hops on his shoulders?" Katie offered innocently, though you had seen her laughing as she had watched the two struggle this entire time. Innocent your ass!

The understanding dawning across the two guitarists faces was so priceless that you couldn't help but laugh out loud at the two of them. How they couldn't have thought of that from the very beginning was way beyond your ability to grasp. Though you didn't think Zacky's brain functionality was really helping Syn out any in this situation. Syn took a big dramatic breath before sinking below the gently lapping Floridian waves. As soon as he was down and had a sure footing he stuck a thumbs up out of the water, signalling Zacky to quickly hop aboard his shoulders. Which Zacky did, with only one "almost oops" as he almost overshot Syn's head. Once Zacky was situated he reached below the water and knocked Syn on the head to signal that he was all ready. Syn came sputtering out of the water like a merman, all slick hair and shiny tattoos. Rock star merman maybe?

"All right are all you ladies finally situated and ready to play?" Johnny shouted from the shoreline, having moved to stand with his feet in the water. Everyone turned and looked at him, waiting.

"Alright, it's last team standing wins. Each team gets three remounts before they're disqualified. Final battle gets one additional remount. All bets are off, just don't kill anyone. Game on!" Johnny shouted before running back to his ref chair at the edge of the lapping ocean.

At Johnny's "Game on" shit got crazy in the water, you nudged Jimmy with your thigh towards Zacky and Syn. Not only did you want to just take them out for the sake of drowning them but also because you saw them as your and Jimmy's biggest competition. Your brother may be a beast but you weren't counting on Katie being too difficult to win against in this game. Seems that your brother and Katie had the same exact idea because they were a few feet behind you. Jimmy was doing his best to splash and distract Syn as the two of you approached them.

"I'm going for a misdirection Jimmy, you take care of the rest," you whispered down to your partner as you got closer and closer to Syn and Zacky. No one in the group was going to be able to wade out too deep for you and Jimmy so that tactic was out of the question. That left everyone with sheer brute force and sneaky tactics. Jimmy continued to windmill the water Syn's direction, who was doing his best to do the same all the while spitting out water. As soon as you and Jimmy got just out of arms reach of them you signaled with your thighs for Jimmy to stop.

"Hey boys!" you shouted as loud as possible. And it worked since the two of them looked up for just a split second, but a split second was all you needed. As soon as they were both looking at you you pulled up your black and white checkered bikini top and flashed them full on. You grinned as both Zacky and Syn's jaws dropped open, leaving them to look like fish out of water. Which was what you were hoping for. Boobs always worked on guys, no matter what guys they were. And tattoos mixed with boobs was a killer combo in this group, you and Jimmy were SO going to win! And while the stunned guitarists were still staring Jimmy moved the two of you right up to them. Jimmy put his hands on Syn's shoulders, without him even noticing since he was still staring. You even reached out and put your hands on Zacky's shoulders, mimicking Jimmy.

"Goodbye," you said sweetly and both you and Jimmy pushed violently, sending a sputtering and bewildered Syn and Zacky combo wildly into the water behind them. One remount down you cheered in your mind as you high fived the hand Jimmy raised up for just said purpose. In your cheering and gloating though you had forgot about your brother and Katie. Forgot about them that is until you felt yourself being yanked backwards by the back tie of your bathing suit, your center of gravity was shot and you knew you were going down.

"Shit!" was all you heard Jimmy shout before you crashed into the water and swam off of Jimmy. Immediately you broke for the surface.

"Quick, quick, quick!" Jimmy was whispering at you frantically as he motioned you closer to him. You swam the few feet over to him and held up your arms as soon as you got close to him. You grinned as he swept you up onto his shoulders, almost as effortlessly as Matt had done to Katie. You two really were a dynamic duo.

As soon as you were situated solidly you gripped Jimmy's shoulders with your legs and let him tear off towards Matt and Katie's unsuspecting form. It was time for retribution! The two of them didn't seem to notice you approaching because they were so caught up in fending off the two that they were trying to sink! Stealthily the two of you approached Matt and Katie's back just as they finally managed to get Zacky into the water. Two remounts used! You decided that you didn't want to fight your brother on a frontal assault, his gorilla muscles were making him a force to be reckoned with. You were pretty sure both Syn and Zacky had ingested half the ocean before they both fell. You got up on them as they were cheering and figured Jimmy was going for an all out rush attack when he just charged them yelling. You death gripped his shoulders and head with your legs so as not to fall off. As you reached your target they were just turning to meet you, your presence brought to their attention by Jimmy's war cry. But it was to late and they never got to fully turn around let alone put up any type of fight as Jimmy shoved your brother hard in the side as you shoved Katie in almost the same place. The momentum of your push mixed with catching them unawares mid turn was enough to send them both screaming into the ocean.

"I say we fight this out like the men we are and get your brother out of the game before he drowns us all," Syn said from beside you. You nearly jumped off of Jimmy's shoulders in surprise. You hadn't even noticed them approach you! They must have finally gotten the knack of mounting up down!

"How do we accomplish that?" you asked skeptically, mentally agreeing with Jimmy as he edged away from Syn and Zacky. You didn't trust them either at the moment, you could see this nice chat turning into a tactic to get the two of you down into the water.

"Well we're at two remounts already. That means we only have one legal one left. You are only at one, while Matt and Katie are at one as well. I say we close line them as soon Katie remounts. The two of us are pretty well matched, but Matt's a juggernaut. And he likes to gloat when he wins. I say we don't let him get the chance," Syn offered with a shrug, or as much of a shrug as he was going to get with Zacky's dripping wet body on his shoulders.

"Deal. Though we better hurry as Katie is almost back to Matt," you pointed out as you gestured towards Katie and your brother. Seemed she had released under water and had ended up quite a few feet from your brother, if the fact that she was still swimming towards him was any indication.

"Got it," Syn replied as he turned to face Matt and Katie, Jimmy mimicking his movements.

You turned on Jimmy's shoulders to look at Zacky.

"Take my hand," Zacky said, his hand stretched towards you for you to take.

It was so similar to the dream you had just had recently that you started a bit, doing nothing but staring at him and his hand in disbelief. You were so startled even that you didn't want to reach out for it, afraid that it and he would disappear just like he had in your dream. Hearing your name brought you out of the weird place you had temporarily gone. You looked up at Zacky.

"Kales? You gotta take my hand if you want this to work," Zacky offered, his hand still out for you to take. You turned to look over towards your brother and Katie, she had finally remounted his shoulders and seemed to be getting situated.

Nodding your head slowly you threw out your arm and clasped Zacky's forearm as he in return clasped yours. As soon as the two of you had a grip the friends that you were riding took off at top speed for their unsuspecting lead singer and sound tech. -xXx-
"Beat their butts Kales or I will kill you for close lining me!" Katie shouted from the beach where she sat next to your brother on a towel on the sand next to Johnny.

Your combined forces had indeed knocked your brother and Katie into the ocean four times, causing them to be disqualified from winning. Hence they were now shore side, with Katie cheering you on as she sat wrapped to the nines in an enormous towel. Cheering you on, or threatening you you weren't sure. It was down to you and Jimmy versus Syn and Zacky. In the final round you only hand one remount available and you had Jimmy had just used yours which meant you had to send the other two guys flying two times before you hit the water again.

"What are we going to do Jimmy?" you whispered as you slicked your hair back off your face, once again back up on his shoulders.

"I don't kn-," Jimmy started to reply but was cut off.

"Titties aren't going to work again this time Kales!" Syn teased from feet away as he repositioned Zacky on his shoulders into a more comfortable position. You simply flipped him off as you tried to figure out a game plan.

"If we can get close enough without going down we can take them down from the side. Hip check Syn and I can shove Zacky. Syn is weakest from the side," you suggested and by Jimmy's head nod of approval you figured that was going to be your game plan. As shaky as it was it was what you had.
