Chapter Thirty-two.

A couple of months have passed since our engagement was announced, and it is now May. I’ve been putting in a lot of hours at Vengeance University, and the guys have been in the studio a lot. Madelyn has started sitting up unassisted and is even trying to crawl. Jimmy has been teaching Cameron how to play drums, and he’s actually picking it up very quickly. Brian and I are doing great, and we decided that instead of flying my entire family out to California, we’re going to fly our Avenged family, and his family of course, out to Georgia for the wedding. We have set a date for next year, April 19. The girls and I have started planning, and I’m currently in Brian and my room at our house packing for our trip to Georgia to see my family. And it’s not just going to be the four of us, it’s going to be the twelve of us. The entire Avenged family has decided that they want to go to Georgia and meet my family. “We’re all one big family now, so where you go we go” Jimmy told me. So I called my parents and we all bought plane tickets, and today is the day. I can’t wait to be back in my hometown, and to be able to show my new family around. “Mama! Mama!” Cameron came running into my bedroom holding a giant stuffed dinosaur “Can I bring my tyrannosaurus rex on the airplane?” He asked excitedly. “Baby I think that one’s a little too big, we would have to buy him his own ticket!” I said with a laugh, causing my sweet little boy to frown. “Aw man, really? Can I find another one to bring on the airplane with me?” “Of course bud, just grab a smaller one.” I suggested. He turned quickly on his heel and ran into his room. “Whoa bud! Slow down there speed racer.” Brian said with a chuckle, walking into our room with Madelyn in his arms. “You almost done packing your stuff babe? We have to leave in like an hour.” “I know I know, I’m almost done. I’m just so excited I keep getting distracted.” I said, causing my fiancée to laugh. “Babe just throw some of your favorite clothes in the suitcase and you’ll be done. Easy as that.” “Oh no it’s not that easy, I have to accessorize. Find shoes and earrings and necklaces and you know how it goes.” “Yeah, I know.” He laughed, “I was just hoping you’d listen and just throw some stuff in there because let’s face it, you’re gonna go shopping when you get home and you won’t ever wear the stuff in the suitcase anyway.” he said, causing me to punch him lightly on the arm. “Shut up. You’re right. Okay, I’ll just grab my favorites and throw them in, then I’ll be done.” “That’s my girl.” he said with a grin.

Pretty soon we were all in the car heading to the airport. I was growing more and more excited by the second, and pretty soon I was practically bouncing in my seat. “Damn Tiny, you really are excited to be going home aren’t you?” Jimmy asked with a laugh. “You have no idea. It’s not necessarily the place, it’s the people. I can’t wait to see my sister, and my nephew. And my grandparents. Man I miss my grandparents.” I said with a smile. “Ya’ll are gonna love my grandmother. Especially when she drinks too much. She’s hysterical.” I laughed. “One time she got drunk at the beach and my sister and I were making fun of her and she told Liv she was going to take her outside. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that night as long as I live.” I smiled. “Oh look at the airplanes Mama! We’re here! Time for the airplane!” Cameron said excitedly. “I can’t wait to see Granna and show aunt Livi my new best friend Jimmy!” he rambled in the back seat. “Hey what about me little man?” Brian asked with a pout. “Oh Brian, you’re my new dad, you’ll always be my best friend.” Cam said, causing Brian and I to look at each other with a smile. “Okay, now let’s go ride the airplane!” he shouted as we parked.

Once we got through checking in and security it was time to board the plane, and of course we all sat together in first class. The plane ride was only a few hours, and pretty soon we were landing in Georgia. My stomach was full of butterflies and my palms were sweaty. Tears were pricking the back of my eyes at the thought of seeing my family again. Soon we were getting off the plane and heading to get our bags. No sooner than we had gotten off the escalator I spotted a woman with the same brown hair, bright blue eyes, and freckles as mine, holding a little boy no older than 5 months old. Without telling anyone where I was going, I sprinted toward my sister, who quickly handed her son off to her husband and ran toward me. We met each other in the middle of the terminal and clung to each other, laughing and crying at the same time. “Oh my god Brook I missed you so much.” Olivia sobbed. “I missed you too, Liv. How has life been without me?” I asked her. “Boring!” she said with a laugh. Soon everyone else caught up to us and Cameron spotted his second favorite person in the world. “AUNT LIVI AUNT LIVI IT’S REALLY YOU! YOU’RE REALLY HERE!” he shouted, running into her arms, which made her cry even more. “Yeah buddy I’m really here! I’m so glad you’re here too Cam! I missed you so much!” “I missded you too Livi, where’s uncle Jason? And Jackson? Where’s Jackson Bean?” he asked, looking around the terminal for my brother in law and nephew. “He’s right over there baby. Want to go see them?” She asked him, paying no attention to the five rockstars and their wives that were with us. “Yes! But first you have to meet my new dad! Bri come here! This is my most favorite aunt Livi!” Cam said excitedly. “Oh! And my best friend Jimmy! Jimmy! Jimmy! Livi meet my best friend Jimmy!” My sister finally looked up from the excited four year old and her jaw dropped. “Oh shit I forgot you guys were coming.” she stuttered, a little star struck. “Livi, this is Brian. And the guys. I mean you know who they are so I really don’t have to introduce you to them” I smirked, causing my sister to blush. “Guys, this is my twin sister Olivia. She’s a huge fan.” My sister smacked my arm, and said hello. “Oh come on, we hug here.” Jimmy said, grabbing my sister into a bone crushing hug. “Jimmy babe I think she needs to breathe.” Leana said with a laugh. “Oh yeah. Sorry Liv. Can I call you Liv? That’s all Brook ever calls you, so hearing her call you Olivia is a little weird.” he rambled, causing her to laugh. “That’s completely fine.” she replied. The girls introduced themselves, and soon I was holding my sweet nephew and hugging my brother in law. “You didn’t miss me too much did you J?” I asked him “Nah. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.” he teased, “I did miss not having someone to pick on though.” he said with a laugh. “Oh shut up, you know I can’t help it.” I chuckled. “Okay, let’s get out of here. There are a lot of people wanting to see you sis.” Liv said, holding Brooklyn in one arm, and Cameron’s hand in the other. We all picked up our bags and went out to our rental cars, since all of us couldn’t fit in one vehicle we had to rent two cars. Cameron rode with Liv and Jason, and Madi rode with Brian, Val, Matt, and I. Soon we were all heading toward my hometown, and my grandmother’s house. I couldn’t wait to begin our little vacation in Georgia. Hopefully it would be without drama.

Notes

Sorry it's been so long, and sorry it's a little short! This is just a little filler. I promise it will be longer next time! :)
