The next morning I woke up in one of Brian’s oversized t-shirts with a smile on my face. I rolled over and looked at Brian, who was already awake. “Morning girlfriend.” he smiled, pulling me close. “Goodmorning baby.” I said, kissing his nose. “How you feeling?” “I’m surprisingly not hungover, considering the amount of alcohol I drank last night.” I said, confused. “Well, you did pace yourself, and you drank at least two bottles of water on the way home last night.” He chuckled, pulling on a strand of my hair. “Well good, I didn’t want to spend the day all hungover in bed anyway, I have other plans.” I said, straddling him. “Really? And what plans are those?” he asked, raising an eyebrow, “well first, I plan on banging my boyfriend, then cooking him breakfast.” I said, pulling the shirt over my head, smirking when I saw Brian’s eyes darken. “Oh, I can definitely handle that.” Brian said, rolling us over as I laughed and pressed my lips to his.

Once we were both satisfied we laid in bed for a while longer, kissing and cuddling, until Jimmy called. “HAPPY NEW YEAR FUCKERS!” he shouted into the phone. “Sorry Jim, we’re not hungover.” Brian said, chuckling. “Oh, fuck. Bummer. You guys are bitches.” he sighed. “What’s up Jimbo?” Brian laughed. “Well, we wanted to know if you guys wanted to go eat with us.” “Wanna go eat with Jim and Leana?” he asked me and I nodded, smiling. “Okay Jim, we’ll go with you guys. After we eat do you want to go to the furniture store with us? We need to find new bedroom sets for the kids. They’re all moving in with me.” Brian said proudly. “Oh man congrats that’s awesome. LEE YOU OWE ME TWENTY BUCKS!” Jimmy shouted, causing me to laugh loudly. The guys disconnected and we went back to cuddling. “I guess we need to get up and get ready.” I sighed, squeezing Brian tighter. “I guess so. I’ll go let Pinkly out, you can take a shower babe. You take longer than me.” he joked, kissing the top of my head. I climbed out of bed and threw Bri’s shirt back over my head, walking to my bag. I took my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash into the shower with me, leaving the bag on the bathroom floor. I quickly showered and got out, drying off my hair and body and wrapping a towel around myself. I pulled out my outfit, which consisted of a pair of jeans, a black long sleeved shirt, and a gray vest. I brushed my teeth, exchanged my glasses for contacts, and applied my makeup. I was finishing my mascara when Brian walked in. “Damn, you’re already almost done. I gotta hurry, I still have to do something to my hair too.” he said, turning on the shower. I watched him strip down and step in the shower out of the corner of my eye, smirking to myself. I still couldn’t believe I was dating him. Moving in with him. It all seemed too good to be true. I grabbed my hair dryer and straightener out of my bag, and got to work on making my hair look presentable. By the time I was finished, Brian was out of the shower, dressed, and standing next to me in the bathroom, working on his own hair. I stuck my skull and crossbone earrings in my ears, and put my cameo necklace around my neck. Satisfied with the way I looked, I put my shoes on, which were gray wedge ankle boots. “You look beautiful babe.” Brian said, looking at my reflection in the mirror. “Thank you, now hurry up, I’m starving.” I said, walking over to kiss him on the cheek.

Once Brian was finished we headed out the door to Jimmy and Leana’s house. Once we got there, we all decided to go out to Mine and Lee’s favorite lunch spot -- the Swheat Market Deli. Once we had gotten there and ordered our food, we sat down at our favorite table that overlooks the ocean. “So,” Jimmy started with a smirk, “taking the plunge and moving into casa de Syn eh?” “Oh good grief Jim,” Leana said, shaking her head, “leave her alone about it.” “Hang on a second you two.” I said, holding my hand up, “what’s this I hear about Lee owing you twenty bucks, Jim?” They both looked at each other for a second, then shrugged, “I bet her twenty bucks that you’d move in with him beore Valentine’s day. She said no way, that Brian was too much of a chicken shit to ask.” Jimmy stated. “Hey what the hell? Thanks a lot Lee.” Brian pouted. “Hey, don’t be mad at me, it took you two weeks just to kiss the girl.” she shrugged, making Brian’s cheeks redden. “It’s okay babe, I think it’s cute that it took you so long.” I said, kissing him on the cheek. “Besides, you never know what could of happened if you tried earlier than that. I could have decked you.” I said seriously. “Really? You would have punched him? Cause that would have been awesome.” Jimmy said, eyes wide. “No Jim, I’m not that mean! Jeeze.” I said, laughing. “Annnnnyway, yes. Brook and the kids are moving into the house. Which is why we need to go check out furniture stores. Cam doesn’t have a bedroom set, and Madi needs a new crib.” Brian said, “Babe, her crib is fine, I got it from a consignment shop before I moved out here.” I argued, “If Cam gets a new bedroom, then Madelyn does too. I’m spoiling them equally, so they both get new beds, new toys, whatever I want to buy them.” He replied, sticking his tongue out at me, while Jimmy and Leana laughed. “Fine,” I huffed, “but don’t go nuts! They already have a ton of stuff, they don’t need much more.” “Babe.” he said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and pulling me close, “They have an entire playroom to fill up. I think it’ll be okay. You worry to much.” he kissed my head and I sighed. He was going to totally spoil my kids, and I secretly loved it.

After we finished our lunches, we headed toward the furniture store. Once we got there Brian grabbed my hand and led me straight to the kid’s section. “Okay. Pick one.” he said, and pushed me gently toward the beds. I stood there for a minute and blinked. Okay, I thought, he just told me to pick one, and didn’t give me a price range. Oh man. I sat down on a bed and looked around. “Babe, you okay?” Brian said, concern lacing his voice. “Uh, yeah. Sorry. I had a moment. No one has ever told me to just ‘pick one’ before, it’s usually ‘pick the cheapest one you like best and let’s go.’ I was a little shocked.” I explained, looking down at my feet. “It’s no big deal baby, I want you to pick out whatever you’d like the kids to have. I’m not just spoiling them you know, I want to spoil my girl too.” he said, kissing my head. “I love you guys, and I want you to have everything you’ve ever wanted. Now, let’s pick out a bed for my favorite four year old.” he pulled me up and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. “Well, I’ve always wanted Cam to have a sleigh bed. Maybe a cherry or espresso color. It would look good with his bedding.” I stated, walking toward the sleigh beds. One in particular caught my eye, it was s dark espresso color and the perfect height for Cameron. The bedroom set included the bed, a dresser, and a bookshelf. “This one’s perfect.” I said, lightly touching the wood. “Okay, we’ll take it. Now it’s Madi’s turn.” he said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and guiding me toward the cribs. “Okay babe, pick one.” “Nope, it’s your turn. I picked Cameron’s, you get to pick Madelyn’s.” I said, wrapping my arms around his waist and leaning my head on his chest. He squeezed my shoulders and kissed my head. “How about that one?” he asked, pointing to a gorgeous crib, it was the same color espresso as Cameron’s bed, and the back of it was higher than the front and sides, with beautiful flowers carved into it. “Says here it’s a four in one, it converts from a crib to a toddler bed, then to a day bed, and then to a full sized head board. That’s awesome.” Jimmy said, reading the paper. “She could use this bed until she was like thirty.” he joked, looking at the changing table and armoire that came with it. “We’ll have to buy her a book shelf, but this is the one B.” Brian stated. “Okay, now let’s go tell the lady where to deliver it and we’ll head to the paint store.” We all walked toward the help desk, where Brian paid for the bedroom sets and set up for delivery, which would be in three days. “Okay, you bought the beds, I’ll buy the paint.” I said as we walked out of the store. “Oh no you don’t, you can buy new pillows and a comforter or something. Redecorate the front bathroom. No paint buying for you.” “Fine.” I huffed, crossing my arms, “I guess I’ll just have to go shopping.” Brian laughed and pulled me toward the paint store. “Oh come on baby, you like to shop anyway.”

Once we were in the paint store we got a couple gallons for each room. Cameron’s room was going to have deep red walls, with tan trim, and Madelyn’s room was going to be a medium gray on the walls, and deep purple to match her crib sheets. Her zebra print comforter would pull it all together. We also picked up a can of dark gray and a can of red paint, so I could paint the bathroom gray with a red accent wall. I was excited to start painting and shopping to finish up the rooms “Okay we got all the paint, and we ordered the beds. We’ll start painting tomorrow, and everything should be done by the time the beds are delivered. While we’re painting you and the girls can be packing up your house, and we’ll move you guys in as soon as the beds are delivered.” Brian said, smiling down at me. “Sounds good to me baby, but I’m officially starving again. It’s about time to head to my place for dinner.” I said, kissing Brian soundly. “Come on Sullivans, let’s go eat!” We all hopped in the car and Jimmy drove us to my place for a huge dinner with my family, including my mom. I hoped she would take the news of me moving in with Brian well. Even if she didn’t, I was going to move in with him anyway.
