Once upon a time, there was a kingdom far, far away that housed a beloved king and queen. All the people in the land loved their king and queen, and rejoiced when the queen gave birth to a beautiful daughter. She was named Danette. Twenty years later, the princess had grown into a beautiful young woman and was to be married to the prince of a neighboring kingdom on her twenty-first birthday.

However, the day before her wedding while riding her beautiful white steed, a vengeful old witch cast a horrible spell on Danette, punishing the king and queen for banishing her years ago. Danette is lost in the Enchanted Forest outside her kingdom walls, and when she finds her way out, Danette realizes she has come to an entirely different world.

A world without magic and love and happily ever afters.

Danette doesn't know this until she meets the king of Bat Country - a horrid man by the name of Plague.
