The gig was about to start and Jade stood at the side of the stage peering out to get a good look at the crowd. She saw a mass of screaming fans and smiled to herself. She was and always would be a deathbat. She loved the sound of screaming fans and was very tempted to sneak out and sit with Matt Berry at the merch stand at the back of the venue. 'Jaaaaaaaaaaaade' Jimmy called out running towards her with a glint in his eyes.

'Heyyyy Jimmy, You ready to rock?' She asked putting on her widest smile for him.

'Are you excited for the show? I sure know we are!!!' Matt asked his dimples showing.

'I sure am guys it's gonna be awesome!' She answered getting a little excited

'Good good' Zacky answered for Matt.

'Guys, pleeeeease tell me the set list. I'm dying to know what it is!' Jade asked putting on her cutest smile to try and sweet talk them into telling her.

'If you must know it's: Critical Acclaim, Second Heartbeat, Afterlife, Scream, Beast & the Harlot, Burn It Down, Gunslinger, Bat Country, Unholy Confessions. And the encore's going to be Seize The Day then A Little Piece of Heaven and finally we're going to finish off with Dear God.' Zacky said pouting and pulling his bottom lip out as far as possible.

'Jaaade, You're dad may have mentioned that you sing a little, so we were wondering if you'd like to sing Dear God with us. You don't have to but it'd be nice for the fans to hear somebody else sing with me.' Matt asked looking at the floor afraid of the answer.

'Sure I don't see why I couldn't. I'm all right I guess but i'm nothing special when it comes to singing. I don't have my dad's talent.' She said sighing.

'Yay! Can't wait to hear you let rip. Not literally. There's a time and a place for that and this definitely isn't it.' Syn said chuckling to himself.

JUST OVER AN HOUR LATER.

'So guys, we want to bring out somebody special to us to sing our very last song with us. Is that ok with all of you out there?' Matt asked the vast crowd of Deathbats. They all seemed to scream in reply.

'I'll take that as a yes. Jade get your ass out here and come and say hi to this awesome crowd.' Matt said smiling at her. Jade walked slowly onto the stage looking into the sea of faces wondering how on hell she was going to sing in front of this many people without it going tits up. But she put on a brave face and said into the mic 'Hey guys! How y'all doing tonight? You had a goood show?' The crowd screamed in reply.

'And i'm gonna take that as a yes.' She said laughing into the mic at how many people were there staring up at her face, 'So I remember I was in exactly the same position as you guys about 2 months ago when the boys were finishing there tour. I'm a Deathbat and proud of it! I was right at the back of the crowd screaming my heart out to every song. It's the best feeling in the world. Who agrees with me?' The crowd screamed as hard as they could at her. She smiled as hard as she could as the guys got all the acoustics out ready for Dear God. At the same time Zacky and Syn broke into the guitars together with Johnny coming in after them. Them all you could hear was Matt's melodic voice ringing out the lyrics to Dear God. Jade decided to do the harmony's in the chorus for it and causing a stir amongst the guys. But she carried on and when the chorus had ended Zacky walked over to her and said 'Jade, your voice is amazing. I'm not joking it's something special you have to treasure it. I'm sure everyone else will tell you exactly the same.' Jade smiled in reply singing her heart out and harmonising with Matt. Together facing the crowd they sang the bridge together. The fans seemed to scream so hard Jade though they'd burst. She thought about how much she loved this song and how she couldn't believe she was singing it with them. And in no time at all the song seemed to come to an end. She had no idea how five minutes passed so quickly. The wailing of Syn's guitar at the end came to a halt and the crowd screamed the hardest it had all night.

'Goodnight you guys. We fucking love you and don't forget that! See you next time!' Matt screamed into the mic, Jade ran off, grabbed a beer and drank about half of the bottle at once. The adrenaline was still running through her like nothing she'd ever fealt before. Even when she was on the stage with her dad she hadn't felt like this before. Maybe they'd spiked her drink....Or not. They seemed more pumped than she was. Ah well she'd never know.

'Oh mother of god Jade your voice is mind blowing. No jokes it's so beautiful. We're gonna have to duet. Or record a new version of it with you in it. People need to hear how talented you are. Pleeeease say you'll do it!' Matt whined at her.

'Sure whatever dude. All I want to know is how the hell do you do this every night? I can barely manage one song!'She asked very curriously.

'Believe us Jade we wonder it our selves. We really have no idea. I wish we did!' Johnny replied smiling with a beer in his hand.

'Jaaaaadey poo! I think that we should play a drinking game. Just like the six of us in my house. We could play truth or dare......' Jimmy asked with the cheeky glint he always seemed to have in his eyes.

'Oh it's on Jimmy. You guys are so going to loose!' She said smiling the devilish smile she was so famous for.

'Oh no we have our own twist on it. What happens is we go into three teams of two, then we take it in turns to truth or dare each other. If you don't answer or do the dare you take a shot. If you do though then you get a point for your team.' Syn explained, 'So who do you want to go with you?'

'Zacky, duh. It should be pretty funny.' Jade said 'You up for it Zacky?'

'Oh hell yes. Lets go kick some pussy ass!' He said laughing.
