Did he actually say that he loved me back? Or was it just my sleep-deprived brain playing tricks on me like usual? The second option seemed more likely than the first, but I woke up to an empty bed. I panicked, but my mini panic-attack passed as I realised that this was his house and so he’d be here somewhere.

Getting up, I made my way downstairs, greeting McKenna as she sat in the kitchen watching her older brother cook. “He’s in the kitchen Zack.” She said, taking her plate of pancakes up to her room. I shook my head and walked into the kitchen, regretting my decision immediately as Bri was boxer-clad, shaking his hips and ass around as he danced his way through the kitchen.

It was a habit of his to make sure that he was wearing a shirt at all times; his excuse was that he hated his Haner tattoo on his back. This was utter bullshit as he’d always had been self-conscious of his body, I still don’t get why he was though; in my eyes he was the most beautiful, handsome and sexiest person I’d ever laid eyes on. He just didn’t see what I did.

I frowned at the thoughts that had creeped into my mind space as I watched him, his toned body, muscular thighs, well-sculpted ass and that sexy face, plus that all too impressive bulge in the front of his pants. Smirking I crept up behind him, wrapping my arms around his chest.

“That was such a great show Bri.” I whispered into his ear, he tensed up a bit then chuckled.

“You liked it?” he asked, slipping out of my arms and shook his ass near me, then set a plate of pop tarts in front of me. I nodded, unable to talk in fear of what’d come out of my mouth.

He rolled his eyes and went back to dancing, I let out an involuntary moan, he turned around cocked an eyebrow at me. I played it off, making it out that I was moaning at the food when in reality I was moaning at how fucking drop-dead sexy he was.

He sung all the way to school, I was completely baffled as to why he was so damn cheery all of a sudden. Maybe he had a girlfriend or a boyfriend, maybe he was in love? All I knew was that I was planning on kissing him sometime today. I don’t know when and I don’t know where but all I knew was that I needed to kiss him – too feel his lips against mine.

“What’s got you so damn cheery, Bri?” I asked, looking over at him as he skipped, yes skipped into school. He giggled then stood in front of me.

“Nothing!” he replied, smiling brilliantly.

“Bullshit Haner, c’mon buddyboy, spill.” He shook his head, I rolled my eyes and pulled him into a headlock. “Pretty please?” I whined, earning a sigh of exasperation from him, he managed to nod. I let him go as he stood up straight.

“Finnneeee! I love someone, and I plan on telling them today.” He said, glowing as he slung an arm over my shoulder.

“Who’s the lucky girl?” I asked him, looking up at him, he shook his head and chuckled.

“No! I’m gay silly, you should be asking who’s the lucky guy?” he replied with a laugh. My heart swelled at hearing that he’s gay. It means that I have a chance.

“Well, who’s the lucky guy, Bri?” I was secretly hoping that he’d say that he was in love with me. He didn’t reply, all he did was wink and tap me on the nose, walking off to where Jimmy and Johnny were sucking face.

“I think he loves you, Zack.” Johnny admitted to me as we sat down on our table watching Jimmy and Brian wrestle. I spat out my drink and turned to look at Johnny.

“You really think so, shorty?” I asked, he rolled his eyes and nodded.
“Yes! Have you seen the way he acts around and too you? Not to mention how he treats you and the way he looks at you.” Matt cut in; smirking. “Hell, he’s looking at you now.” He nodded his head over to where Brian was.

I turned my head to look at Bri, Matt was right; Brian had turned his whole body to face me. A blush creeped onto both of our faces as we made eye contact, I looked down and laughed as he was promptly tackled by Jimmy. Johnny nudged me in the ribs, bringing me from my train of thought.

“What was that?!” Johnny asked, then he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

“I don’t know and what the fuck are you doing?” I laughed, he looked so ridiculous.

“He SO wants your dick.” Was his answer, I rolled my eyes and shoved him lightly.

“Who wants whose dick?” Bri asked, coming up to us, Jimmy hot on his heels.

“That’s none of your business, buddy.” Matt said, laughing at the pout on Brian’s face.

“Are you coming in Brian?” Jimmy asked Brian, diving into the water.

“Na, I’m just gonna sit out here and talk with Zee.” Brian replied, taking off his shirt he laid back. I bit my tongue to stop myself from moaning, he’s so gorgeous. I heard him chuckle, I raised my eyebrows at him; taking off my shirt I laid down next to him.

“Has anyone ever told you how attractive you are?” I asked Bri, mentally kicking myself for saying that. He shook his head.

“No, never.” He replied, propping himself up on his elbow to look at me.

“Well, let me be the first to tell you that you really are attractive, Bri.” I told him, smiling slightly. He grinned, then looked at me for a minute before moving closer to me; we were centimetres from each other, it took all my self-control not to kiss him. Instead Bri did something that really surprised me; he closed the distance between us to place his lips against mine for a split second, before pulling away. I blinked up at him, he was blushing.

“Sorry, ‘bout that. I don’t know what –“ I rolled my eyes and kissed him, this time longer. He smiled into the kiss and kissed back, his tongue licked across my bottom lip asking for entrance which I more than happily gave him. I moaned as his tongue found my way into my mouth, he tasted like Marlboro, peppermint and also alcohol. Bri rolled us over so he was on top of me, his tongue was massaging mine, making me moan.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and began to suck his tongue, deepening the kiss. His erection brushed up against my thigh, making me briefly forget what I was doing. His sharpish tug on one of my snakebite’s brought me back to the present.

There was a cough from behind Bri; turning his head Brian groaned as he saw it was Matt and Val. I heard Val’s squeal with delight, I rolled my eyes at her. “What do youse want?” Bri asked them.

“Nothing, just wanted to know where the sun-cream was.” Val said, bending over she picked it up. “I found it, Matt let’s go and leave the two lovebirds alone.” she said winking at us, grabbing Matt’s hand she led him back over to their towel. Bri rolled his eyes, turning his head to look back at me.

“Where was I?” Bri asked I little cockily, leaning back down to kiss me again but I grabbed his face shaking my head. “What?”

“What does this make us now?” I asked him, he bit his lip for a moment; thinking it over.

“Hmm, will you be my boyfriend, Zee?”

“You want me?”

“Yes, I’ve always wanted you. For a while now, you’re the one that I’m in love with.” I seized up, oh my god he does love me. I smiled.

“I’m in love with you too, Bri.”

“Really?” his face lit up, it was actually really adorable.

“Yes! Now kiss me you sexy piece of ass.” He winked, ducking his head to kiss me again. This time it was softer and more affectionate.

I just can’t believe that I’m now with Bri; it’s like a dream come true. We walked back to his hand-in-hand, my head was resting on his shoulder. He placed a kiss to the top of my head smiling back down at me as I smiled up at him. McKenna squealed as she saw us, “I KNEW IT!” she yelled as she ran up to hug us both.

“’Bout time guys,” Brent said, smirking. We rolled our eyes at them; Suzy and Brian were sitting on the couch with an identical smile on their faces.

“Well isn’t this cute?” Brian said, gesturing to Bri and I. Bri groaned, rolling his eyes.

“Dad, shut up!” Brian only laughed, shaking his head.

“Just remember to use protection!” Brian shouted up to us. Bri wrinkled his nose, slamming the door he flopped onto the bed.

“He’s so fucking embarrassing, yet fucking hilarious at the same time.”
