I scrambled through the alley running. I just got away from my abusive father. He caught me half way out the window. He screamed profound things at me as i ran. "You bitch! Come back here slut!" He chased me down the cold, dark alley. I ran Faster. Faster. I ran around the corner and hid behind a black dumpster. I heard the sound of his boots turn the corner. I held my breath. Please don't see me. Please don't see me. He screamed admitting defeat. I waited to make sure he was gone before getting up. I slowly crept out looking around cautiously. The alley cold and wet. My black skinny jeans soaked from the wet pavement. I ran around the corner carrying my bag with my stuff in it. It was full of clothes, money, make up, and a hair brush. I looked about the busy streets. I got away from him, but now what do i do? i didn't think this through. I can't go back now. Who knows what he would do to me. I continued down the Vegas Strip. Bright Lights, People everywhere, casinos. Fun right? No. It was now 3 am. I wondered to a near by park. I walked to the back corner finding a bench. I laid down on it. Not the most comfortable thing but hey, it's all i got.
