Zacky's POV

I couldn't wait to see my Nessa tomorrow. I'd decided to tell her everything. From the beginning to the end. Even about how I went to meet up with Gena. I wanted to come clean with my skeletons.Vanessa deserved that much. I love her. And if I ever want a future with her I need to start fresh with her.

I began playing my guitar for a bit to keep my nerves down a bit. All I could think of was her. I was so worried about her not wanting to be with me after I tell her. But she loves me, I've heard her say it. Even though it was when she was sleeping I know she does. So I hope she stays. I did some chords for Seize the Day when my phone began vibrating. It was a text from Nessa.

Zack, tell me its not true- Vee

And then she sent a picture of a magazine article. I called her right away.

"Is it?" she asked.

"Listen I can explain!" I tried to tell her.

"No, don't bother Zack. You can tell Gena but you can't tell me? I really thought we had something great Zack. I would've been fine with it if you would've told me. Instead I have to find out from your ex girlfriend and magazines. Do you have any idea how that makes me feel?" she cried.

"Nessa! Please I wanted to tell you.." I said.

"But you didn't... so I can't trust you. I need some time Zack to clear my head. So don't expect me to come tomorrow. I have to go now. Bye."

"Wait.." but it was too late she had already hung up.

Gena told her? Of course why would I trust her to begin with. She's just drama. Now I've lost Nessa. I felt so stupid. My eyes started to burn cause I could feel tears building up. I lost an amazing girl due to my own stupidity. I should have listened to Matt. I went to go find the guys and see if they would cheer me up. I found them sitting in the tour bus trying to decide which bar to go too. Brian was the first one to say anything.

"You look like you could use a drink man." Brian said.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked.

"Well yeah, and Val just called Matt and told him what happened. I'm sorry bout Nessa. Just give her some air. She'll come back."

I wanted to believe that so badly. But if I was her I wouldn't come back to me either. And thats what hurt more than anything is that I deserved her reaction.

"Hey Vengeance, I know for a fact she will come back. So for now lets go chase ducks with liquor! The stallion ducks aren't going to chase themselves." Jimmy smiled.

They were right. I just needed to give her time.

"Okay! Lets go chase ducks Jimmy." I laughed.

We went to the closest bar near us, it was so close in fact that we walked to it. Well Jimmy ran but the rest of us walked. It was a small bar too. It sort of reminded me of Johnny's Bar back in Huntington. I missed that place. If I was back in Cali right now I'd probably be on my way to the beach to go think. The beach made me think of Nessa and how I took her there the night me and Gena argued at Michelle's party. We stayed up pretty much all night just talking. It was a great night. Thinking about it only reminded me of how bad I screwed up with Nessa. Fucking Vengeance couldn't keep it in his pants.

"Vengeance! Take some shots with me!" Johnny waved his hand in front of my face trying to get me out of my little trance.

I grabbed a shot that was placed in front of me and took it down instantly, it was some vodka. I normally take it with a chaser but I needed to just drink it all away. Johnny ordered more shots. One after the other I took them down till I was about 8 shots in then decided to drink some whiskey. Some girl kept staring at me from across the bar and the drunk in me decided to try to walk over to her. She was smiling and then Matt came and stopped me.

"What the fuck Vengeance!? This is why you're in the position you are in! How much have you drank?" Matt said to me.

"You aren't my father Shadz! So go away. I'm going to drink and do what I want too okay?" I said trying to push past him but he wouldn't budge.

"I'm trying to help you. How would Vanessa feel if she found out you had a one night stand again? She's like my little sister and you don't fuck with family Zack." He began getting louder.

I noticed the rest of the guys were standing next to him too.

"Zack, this isn't you bro. Just stop." I heard Brian say.

"Just let him do it. If he wants to lose Vanessa forever. Then I guess it'll be his problem." Matt said. "We're just going to have to be there and watch him go through it."

I grabbed the closest bottle of alcohol near me and chugged it. After that I blacked out.


I woke up the next day with a killer hangover. Thankfully I was in the tour bus. I don't even remember most of last night. My hands were hurting too. I don't even know why. Did I fight someone? I grabbed my phone to check the time. It was 3:28 in the afternoon. Fuck, I thought to myself. I need to go to the airport. Hopefully Nessa changed her mind and came. I want the chance to at least explain. I threw on whatever clothes were closest to me and went to find the guys. When I opened the door to get out of the tour bus I noticed we were at the airport already. I went and searched for the guys and girls.

As I entered the doors I seen the guys and girls heading towards me. Everyone was there except for Nessa.

"Zacky, what the hell happened to you?" Val asked.

"I wish I knew." I replied. I looked at Matt but he didn't seem to make eye contact with me. What did I do last night?
