"Zacky, You're staring again"
Zacky Baker walked down the crowded hallways of Huntington Beach High, the humans immediately scattering as soon as they saw the fertile and his friend and Zacky couldn’t help but to smirk at how scared the pathetic humans were of him. Of course they were scared of him, his father Bryar Baker the most feared Dom and owner of the famous torture prison would kill them in an instant if they fucked with his son. His father wasn’t the only one though, his twin brother Frank was the most feared Dom in the school, he wouldn’t think twice about killing anybody who messed with his younger brother. Frank was older by two minutes; a whole[i] two [/i] minutes and he loved to fuck with Zacky about it.
As Zacky continued on his way towards his first period class, his eyes landed on a group of Dom’s and he could feel the butterflies in his stomach slowly start to flutter their wings as soon as his gaze landed on the beautiful creature everyone knew as Synyster Gates or Brian Elwin Haner Jr, the second most feared Dom in the whole school. His father, Brian Haner Sr, worked along Zacky’s father in the torture prison industry, the Baker’s and Haner’s owned 3 torture prison’s that were located in California, and 3 located in Nevada. It would be perfect if Brian and Zacky were mated together, they could keep the industry going but Zacky knew that he would never be mated with someone like Brian. He’s been in love with the older male since they were little kids playing in sand boxes at the park, Brian had saved Zacky from being beat up by an older human boy and ever since then he has been in love with him.
“Zacky you’re staring again” Angela, Zacky’s best friend, stated snapping Zacky out of his thoughts. He blushed causing his friend to laugh and make kissy faces at him. “Shut up!” He whined shoving the fertile’s shoulder slightly and sped up his pace, quickly walking past the group of males. He could hear his friend giggling from behind him and he scowled, shaking his head. Angela was always picking on Zacky about his undying love, what she called it, for the Dom and it made Zacky mad but he wasn’t particularly mad at his friend, he was mad that he couldn’t tell Brian how he felt.“I’m sorry” Angela apologized as soon as she was walking next to Zacky again. “It’s okay Ang, I know you don’t mean any harm by it” He shrugged and looped his arm through hers then began skipping, pulling her along down the slowly emptying hallway. The two fertiles skipped while giggling into the class room, gaining weird looks from the human but they ignored it and sat down in their desk.
“Yo Baker! Mall after school?” Johnny Seward, also known as garden gnome, asked Zacky. Zacky turned to face the blonde haired fertile and grinned. “Hell yeah, meeting up at the usual spot?” Johnny nodded and gave him thumbs up before turning his attention back to his mate, Jimmy Sullivan, the tall skinny Dom that liked to terrorize everybody, including his own kind. When Zacky first met him, he was terrified of the older Dom, he usually was never scared of a Dom but something about Jimmy scared the shit out of him and it took him quite a while to finally get used to the Dom before he could become friends with him.
Zacky sighed, leaned back in the chair and yawned loudly, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He really wished he could have gotten more sleep, his mother woke him up too early and he didn’t get it, it wasn’t like he could get in trouble for sleeping in but his mother has never let him be late for school, he wanted his son to get a good education even though he wasn’t really going to need it in life. Well, except for everything he learned in fertile class, he needed to know that knowledge if he wanted to be a good fertile for his mate. Then again, Zacky wasn’t very good at math, the teacher, who happened to be a human, was a complete bitch and never wanted to help Zacky out. He has thought multiple times about telling his parents, getting the teacher fired, or killed, but he always decided it wasn’t worth it, that he could easily just ask one of his friends for help and that was what he started to do. It helped him pass with flying colors and that was all that mattered….
“Okay class, please take our your vampire history book and turn to page 20” The human directed as soon as the bell rang, signaling it was now time for class. Zacky groaned and grabbed his backpack, begrudgingly taking out the history book and slamming it down on to the desk, earning a glare from the teacher. Jimmy growled and the teacher’s eyes widened in fear and she turned around quickly. “Thanks” Zacky mouthed to Jimmy, Jimmy just smiled and went back to making out with Johnny. Zacky giggled quietly to himself and flipped through the pages until he finally got to page 20, he had past the page like ten times.
“Alright class, today we are going to be talking about the end of the first semester project and I’ll be choosing your partners, if you are not happy with who you were partnered with, talk to me after class about it and we will figure something out. Now, this project is going to be you and your partner needs to set up a presentation to explain everything you have learned during the first semester. I will hand out the rubric in a second but first I am going to assign partners” Zacky was not looking forward to this at all, he knew he would be paired with someone he liked because no human was smart enough to tell him ‘no’ but he hated doing projects and presenting them in front of the class. There were about 30 kids in the class and the teacher had to carefully choose who she paired the vampires up with, and before she could even finish, the woodened class room door opened and in walked Brian with Matt and Val in tow. Zacky’s breath hitched in his throat and the butterflies came fluttering back.
“Excuse me, why are you late?” The teacher asked rudely and Brian growled before grabbing her by the throat and lifting her up into the air, his fangs bared. “Don’t you dare give me attitude, maggot! You’re lucky I am in a good mood today or these walls would be painted red” He growled then dropped her to the ground and straightened himself out. He spotted Zacky and the rest of the group and him, Matt and Val walked over to them. Brian sat next to Zacky and Zacky was feeling like he was going to pass out, the man he loved was sitting right next to him, thighs and shoulders touching. He made sure not to make any contact with the Dom and kept his gaze at the front of the class room, watching the teacher try to compose herself. When she did, she shakily picked up the paper and scanned over the names, figuring out which names she has and hasn’t called.
“Okay… Uhh… Matt Sanders and Valary Dibenedetto… Angela Pierce and Josh Banks” Angela squealed slightly, she was madly in love with Josh and she couldn’t wait to start this project. She hopped up from her chair and gave her best friend a grin which Zacky returned and she skipped over to Josh, sitting down next to him. Zacky took a chance to peek at Brian from the corner of his eye and he was just sitting there, staring blankly at the front of the classroom, clearly not interested in what the teacher was saying. Which was true, Brian could care less what the filth had to say, he thought this was a waste of time and he was only in this class because Zacky was in it, which Zacky of course didn’t know. Brian has kept his feelings for the small fertile a secret, only Jimmy and Matt knowing and he planned to keep it that way, he didn’t want to risk being rejected and heartbroken. Zacky watched as the teacher flipped to the next page and he hoped he wasn’t paired with Brian, well okay he did hope he was, but then again he didn’t. “Jennie Smithey and Frank Baker… and lastly, Brian Haner and Zacky Baker” Zacky sighed and slammed his head onto the desk, scaring the shit out of Brian and he couldn’t help but feel a little hurt by Zacky’s reaction.
Both males didn’t move or say a word for the rest of the period, only conspicuously shooting glances at one another. Finally when the bell rang making Zacky jump and let out a small squeal which made Brian chuckle at the adorable sound. Zacky shot him a glare and rolled his eyes, putting his stuff away then stood up, stretching a little, the shirt riding up a bit, giving Brian a perfect view of his slightly pudgy cute stomach. Brian wanted so badly to pull the smaller male close and never let go and it took all his will power not to do it. “So my house or your house?” He asked earning a confused look from the fertile. Brian chuckled. “Project remember?” Zacky’s mouth made an “o” shape and he shrugged. “My house I guess” Brian nodded and gave Zacky a quick hug before retreating the room, leaving a very shocked fertile behind. [i]’ Holy shit, he just touched me’ [/i] Zacky thought to himself and he couldn’t help the wide grin that etched on to his face as he skipped out of the class room and to his next period.
