Controlled Chaos
----3 months later----
"Whatya think?"
Zacky held out a few variations of a logo he sketched out. The main sketch showed a pocket knife, semi open, in the form of a V.
"I like this one", Gena pointed out the one with the cleaner lines in black and grey.
"That's my favorite too", He smiled looking down at his sketches.
"6661?", She grew slightly confused.
"1999", He began," It's the year we started Avenged, just, my way"
He grinned at her before sneaking a kiss on her peach colored lips. She blushed, kissing him back.
"That's very cleaver sirr.", She playfully smiled.
He returned the smile, packing up his sketches and placing them back into Matt's dresser drawer. They kept everything at Matt's.
"I think this whole band thing is going to really work out for us", He smiled with hope in his eyes.
Gena only smiled at him, scooting closer. She placed her hand on his cheek, and kissed him deeply.
"I know it will baby", She assured with the biggest smile.
"With you by my side, anything's possible", He smiled.
Their quiet time was interrupted by Jimmy slamming the door open and running in. He wasted no time in running to the bed, and hiding under it. Gena and Zacky only looked at each other and laughed. A few seconds after, Brian ran in, stopping in the door frame.
"Alright", He began breathlessly," Where is he"
They said nothing with a smirk, only peeking over at the bed. Brian casually made his way over to it.
"Oh how I wonder where little ol' Jimmy is..", He began, sneaking around the room to the other end of the bed. He saw Jimmy's shoes peek out and grabbed them.
"Nooooo!!!!!", Jimmy yelled as Brian dragged him out from under the bed", You'll never take me AALLLIIVVEE!"
He held Jimmy tight, dragging him around the room with ease, all the way to the door.
"Damn Jimbo, musta really pissed him off!", Zacky laughed.
"Brian likes Michelle!", Jimmy playfully sang.
Brian rolled his eyes with a smirk, still grasping Jimmy's legs, and dragging him through the bedroom floor. Jimmy, on his back, went limp and let his arms drag above his head, and pretended to sleep.
"Real cute Jimmy", Brian began now down the hall towards the stairs," Lets see how cute ya are now!"
With Jimmy's eyes still closed, Brian yanked him forward, and let him go down the stairs.
*Boom boooom boom boom*
Jimmy fell down the stairs, screaming the whole way down. As he reached the bottom, he jumped up, and continued his song all the way to the front door.
"Brian likes Michelle! Brian likes Michhheelllee!"
Val and Michelle opened the front door on their way in, only to have a frantic laughing and singing Jimmy fly pat them, outside.
"Brian likes Michelle!", He continued down the driveway.
Brian finally reached the bottom of the stairs, and ran to the front door.
"Excuse me ladies", He smirked towards Michelle, then running off down the driveway after Jimmy.
Michelle blushed while they only laughed, closing the door and making their way to the kitchen. Zacky and Gena made their way downstairs as all the noise calmed down.
"Hey girlie!", Val began, setting down some groceries on the kitchen counter," What have you two been up to?"
"Zack was just showing me his VU ideas", Gena began.
"Fucking amazing right?!", Val smiled up from the bags she was digging through.
"Most deffinetly!", Gena smiled towards Zacky with a wink.
"We're having spaghetti!", Michelle was too excited," wanna help?"
"Sure!", Gena began," I love cooking!"
"Good! I'm sick of it!", Val laughed," Ya gotta keeper Zack!"
They all laughed and got to cooking dinner as Zacky went to go look for everyone else throughout the house. He went down to the basement/practice room in hopes to find some of the guys. Sure enough, he found Matt.
"Hey bro", Matt began," I'm glad you're here, I got somthin' I want ya to hear"
"Lay it on meh", Zacky pulled up a rolling chair, and sat down to to listen.
"I recorded some vocals to that song we've been working on, ya know, the one we have the melodies already recorded for?"
"Second Heartbeat?"
"Yea! Yea, it isn't the best recording but here it is.", Matt played it.
We keep writing, talking, and planning! But everything changes! We all know what to d, but no one does it!
Two in my heart! Have left me awhile! I stand alone! When they get back! It won't be the same!
"Damn bro, that's heavy", Zacky began," Even for just a demo it sounds pretty fucking good."
"The lyrics are still a little everywhere but I love it.", Matt assured.
"Sounds okay to me dude", Zacky slightly laughed.
"We need better than okay Zack! We need, award winning!", Matt laughed.
"I smell dinner", Zacky interrupted.
"No", Matt's eyes got wide,"I smell spaghetti!"
Matt jumped up from his seat by Zack and ran upstairs, with Zacky in tow shortly after.
"That's record time, don't you think girls?", Val laughed as she set the plates.
Matt and Zacky were the last two to join everyone at the dinner table. Val finished passing out the spaghetti filled plates, then sitting down with everyone to eat. They all began their first few silent bites before Matt broke the silence.
"Second Heartbeat is all ready to be recorded"
"Just about", Zacky smirked.
"fucking cool!", Jimmy began, mouth full of spaghetti," I fucking love that song!"
They all giggled.
"We can start it up this weekend and send it in", Matt assured.
They all agreed as they continued with dinner.
"I ordered more merch today", Val spoke up through the white napkin that was slightly pressed to her lips.
"More?", Johnny began", I thought we already had too much! This is what's putting us in debt"
"Chill out Johnny!", She placed her napkin down and picked up her fork," Our money situation is fine, and .."
"C'mon", Matt interrupted," It's Valary we're fucking talking about here, I'm pretty sure we all know she knows what she's fucking doing."
Val only smiled over at Matt, twisting her fork in her sauce and meat balls on her semi full plate.
"She most definitely does", Gena smiled.
"Having Gena help out with the Merch booth is a load off my shoulders as well", Val assured.
"What can I say, I know an amazing woman when I see one", Zacky winked at Gena.
She only smiled with pink cheeks, as she looked down at her plate and twirled her spaghetti.

They all finished up their dinner, and sat at the table and talked for a bit. The girls shortly after, got up and began to clean up. Johnny, Brian and Zacky got up first to dispose of their dishes. Zacky kissed Gena on the cheek while laying his dish on the counter, then heading towards the living room. Jimmy then got up, disposing his dish as well.
"Thanks Vall!", Jimmy squeezed her tight, making her laugh.
"You're welcome Jimbo", She smiled as he ran into the living room.
Val started the water for the dishes while Gena and Michelle put all the left over food away and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. Matt was the last to get up. He gathered all the rest of the dishes that were left on the dinning table, and placed them on the counter by Val.
"Thanks beautiful", He kissed her softly on her cheek, then staring into her eyes.
"MAATTTTTTT!", Jimmy yelled from the living room," Come play Xbox!"
Their deep stare was interrupted by Jimmy, and Val shook her head back to reality.
"Get outta here", She shyly smiled, slapping him on the butt as he made his way to the living room where we was just so desperately needed.
Val was content smiling to herself as she did the dishes, until she felt someone was watching her. She turned around and saw Gena and her sister smirking at her.
"Shut up", Val blushed, going back to the dishes.
Gena and Michelle only giggled. Gena happened to look over into the living room to Zacky. He gave her a wink and a smile. She couldn't help but blush.
