We went out to his car and he sped off somewhere. About twenty-five minutes later we pulled up into the driveway of a big white house.
“This is it; I’ll wait here and call Matt to tell him we’ll be a little late.” He said
I nodded and got out of the car and timidly walked up to the front door, I knocked. “Hello?” My mom answered
“Mom.” I said
“Bayden?” She asked pulling me into a hug.

“What’s this?” I asked
“Emancipation papers. I was called about your dad and I went out and got these because I knew you would rather be an emancipated minor then have to deal with the shit from what your dad did. The paper work is done, and you just sign one line and its official.” She said
I smiled and pulled out the paperwork, she handed me a pen and told me where to sign and I did so.
“You’re now basically your own person.” She said I hugged her and she smiled.

I walked out of her house and sprinted to Jimmy’s car clutching the envelop in my arms.
“What’s this?” He asked pulling the paper work out of it. I just smiled like a dofus “You’re an emancipated minor?” He asked

“My mom emancipated me.” I smiled doing a little dance in Matt’s living room
“So you’re no longer a runaway and you’re free from your parents rule?” Johnny asked

I smiled and Jimmy gave me my suit and he and everyone but Val and I went to change.
“Thanks for shopping for me Val.” I said

“Oh by the way just in case I stocked you up on pads and tampons and condoms.” She said I laughed.
“Let’s go swimming.” She said leading me to a bathroom to change.
I changed into the bikini that Val picked out and walked into the backyard and everyone was already in the pool. Thanks for waiting guys. Hah. I looked around in the pool and Val and Matt were making out in the corner of the shallow end and Zacky and Johnny were trying to get Brian to spill his beer but it wasn’t working, the only one missing was Jimmy I was confused.
