“Mom?” I asked after
I looked up Brian started coughing like a mad man but my eyes never left my mom.
“Well this is awkward.” Brian said
Brian was right, this was awkward. I kept this woman out of my life for the reason that I didn’t want to get hurt by her again. Papa pulled my arm and pulled me into the kitchen.
“This was unexpected.” He said
“Tell me about it.” I said
“Sweetheart I know about everything in your life but she seems to be so sweet and she’s been making me happy.” He said
He treated me like his daughter.
“How long have you to been together?” I asked
“About three months.” He said
“Well if shes making you happy than fine. Just don’t expect me to be around a lot. I love you but she....... I can’t let her back in.” I said
“I understand and she makes me happy.” He said
“Oh Papa?” I asked
“Yeah?” He asked
“If she hurts you don’t come to me.” I said
He nodded and I walked back into the living room and Jimmy was standing there watching my mom talk to Madison.
“What’d you tell him?” He asked
“That I love him but I can’t let her back in.” I said
“Do you think she’s going to hurt him?” He asked
“Honestly I don’t know.” I said
“Brayden Honey.” She said touching my shoulder
“Mhm?” I hummed
“Can I talk to you?” She asked
I nodded and walked into the kitchen and out the back door. I knew this was going to end up at a higher volume.
“What?” I asked
“I know you’re still mad at me for leaving you with your father but.” She said
I cut her off.
“No that’s not what I’m mad at you for.” I corrected
“Then what did I do?” She asked
I crossed my arms
“You’re the only person that knows you did this.” I said
“Are you talking about when I barley tapped you?” She asked
“Yes mom when you hit me and it was more than barley. I bruised and had to cover it with makeup so Jimmy wouldn’t ask me about it. You promised that you would be the parent to never hurt me like that. Leaving me was different because it was either leave without me or die, mom I grew up being raped and beat and then I ran away and Jimmy found me and then you emancipated me at seventeen I honestly trusted you every time I saw you, but then when you got a friend of yours from Ohio to defend dad in a trial to get out of jail and you told me that she wasn’t defending him it killed my trust, when I confronted you about it you hit me and told me I was being stupid. I don’t trust you with anything, I can’t let you in. I don’t want to get hurt again.” I said
“Why would you talk to your mother like that?” She asked
“What mother?” I asked She raised her hand to hit me.
“Would you hit a pregnant woman?” I asked
“No.” She said
“Then don’t hit me.” I said
“You’re pregnant?” She asked
“Yes and engaged.” I said
The look on her face softened and she walked back into the house, I turned to walk in and Jimmy appeared in the door way with a concerned look on his face.
“I’m fine baby.” I said
He gave me a look of disbelief and pulled me into his arms.
“This morning was not how I intended it to go.” He said
“Tell me about it maybe this evening will be better.” I said
“Want to have a night at Matt and Vals or watch the game at Zacky’s?” He asked
“How about we go to Zack’s and see if everyone will go there?” I asked
“Let’s do it.” He said
I smiled and we walked out to the car and drove to Zacks.

I know i didn't write the part with her mom before but it's all expained in here :) You guys love me though. :P So Jimmy's POV is going to be shorter but not really short :)
