“Get. Up. Brayden.” I heard someone say in a demanding tone
“No.” I said swatting at whomever it was
“Baby just get the fuck up.” Jimmy said
“It’s too early.” I mumbled
“It’s four in the afternoon.” Jimmy said
I shot up like a rocket and looked at the clock it was only eight-forty-five in the morning
“You dirty liar. Get outta my room.” I said
“You’re in my room.” He said
“It’s basically our room. I haven’t slept in the guest bedroom in forever.” I said
“I know.” He smiled
His face was really close to mine.
“I could get used to waking up to this every morning.” I said poking his face
“This ugly thing? Heavens no.” He said
“You are not ugly James Owen Sullivan.” I said
“I love it when you use my whole name.” He said wagging his eyebrows.
I stuck my tongue out at him and he licked it.
“You are a strange man.” I said
“You’re the naked one.” He said
I pulled up the blanket and looked down
“You’re naked too.” I said
“You’re the woman.” He said
“You have bad comebacks.” I laughed
He huffed in a grumpy way.
“I’m going back to sleep.” I said
I laid back down and turned so my back was facing him
“Brayden Adrian Winchester wake your lazy ass up.” I heard
“No.” I whined
“Baby please get up.” He said
I yawned and sat up, I looked over at the clock and it was noon.
“You let me sleep until noon you ass!” I joked playfully.
“No I fell back asleep also baby.” He said
I groaned and forced myself out of his bed and walked over to his dresser and grabbed a pair of his boxers and slipped them on. I looked around to see a bra laying on the floor, I walked over and put it on.
“Here wear this one.” Jimmy said holding out a t-shirt.
I smiled and gladly took the Metallica shirt from him and put it on.
“What’s on the agenda today?” I asked
“Well what do you want to do?” He asked
“Well I don’t know.” I said He laughed.
“I’ve got some ideas but you’re going to have to actually put pants on.” He said “Can I keep the shirt?” I asked
“Yes.” He smiled
I did a little ‘yay’ clap dance thingy and walked off to the guest room to grab a pair of pants. I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and pulled them on; I tucked the boxers into them and grabbed a pair of socks. I put my socks on and grabbed a pair of boots and walked back into Jimmy’s room.
“Am I prettied up enough for you to be seen in public?” I asked
“Yes am I?” He asked He was only wearing his boxers.
“Since I had to put pants on you have to also and if you could go into public places without a shirt I would let you.” I said
“You like me for my body.” He laughed rubbing his tummy
“Maybe just your tattoos.” I laughed walking over to him
“You’re getting a tattoo today.” He said
“Excuse me?” I asked
“You’re getting a tattoo today.” He repeated
“No way I don’t like needles.” I said
“But you complain that you want one all the time.” I said
“I know I do. I want a few but I’m terrified of needles.” I whined
“I’ll be there the entire time holding your hand okay?” He asked
“Do you really want me to do this?” I asked He smiled.
“Okay I’ll get one but.” I said
“But what?” He asked
“You have to feed me first.” I said
“I planned on taking you to lunch.” He smiled
I smiled and picked up a pair of jeans out of his dresser.
“Here.” I said
He raised an eyebrow and put on his pants tucking the fabric of the boxers in the same way I did.
“Where are my boxers?” He asked
“I’m wearing them.” I said
“Cute.” He laughed as he grabbed a random shirt and pulled it over his head. He picked up his brush and just ripped through his hair.
“Glasses or contacts?” He asked
“Glasses.” I said
He nodded and pulled me out into the hallway and downstairs and out the front door.
“Jimmy! You’re keys.” I said
“We’re walking.” He said
I nodded and he kept pulling me, I stopped and sat on the ground.
“Come on I’m not going to drag you.” He said
“Then stop pulling me.” I said
“Oh I didn’t realize I was doing it. I’m sorry baby.” He said
I stood up and took his hand in mine, we swung out hands playfully as we walked. He walked us up to a Waffle House.
“Hey Jimmy.” The older lady at the cash register said
“Hello Dee.” Jimmy said
“You’re not with your usual pack of guys.” She said
“Nope, I’ve got someone more special than my band members.” He said as we slid into the booth in the corner.
Dee came over with the silverware and napkins.
“Yes Jimmy who is this beauty?” She asked I smiled
“This is my girlfriend Brayden.” He said
“Nice to meet you Brayden.” She said
“Pleasure to meet you as well.” I said
“What would you two like to drink?” She asked
“Ladies first.” Jimmy said
“Just water.” I said
“And for you Jimmy?” Dee asked
“Lemonade please.” He said
“Coming right up dears.” She said walking away.
“Do you and the guys come here often?” I asked
“All the time.” He laughed
“I’m nervous.” I said
“About what?” He asked
“Tattoo.” I said
“You’ll be fine and I’ll be right there.” He said
I nodded and looked down at the menu. Ah I knew what I wanted.
“Jimmy?” I asked
“Yes baby?” He asked
“Am I allowed to get a chocolate chip and peanut butter waffle?” I asked
“Why are you asking me? I’m taking my girlfriend out to lunch get what you want.” He said
I smiled. Dee came over with the drinks and smiled.
“Do you two know what you would like?” She asked
“Ladies first.” Jimmy said again
“Can I get one waffle with chocolate chips and peanut butter?” I asked
“Sure thing darling and for you Jim?” She asked
“I think I’ll have the same thing. It sounds good.” He said
I smiled as Dee walked away, I sighed in the process.
“What’s on your mind babe?" He asked patting my thigh
"Over thinking." I said
He rubbed my thigh down to my knee. I looked up at him and he leaned over and connected our lips.
“Stop thinking about it. Once you get past the first few minutes it will be fine.” He said
I nodded and laid my head on his shoulder as we waited on our waffles. After the food came and we ate Jimmy took the check and walked up to the register.
“I think she’s a keeper Jimmy.” Dee said
“I don’t plan on letting her go, I really love her. Under all of the circumstances I’m glad our tour bus was where it was.” He said
“Yeah isn’t she the runaway girl from Ohio? She’s freaking beautiful and you two just seem to fit perfectly together.” She said
I smiled and Jimmy came over and took my hand. We walked out into the heat and he led me somewhere. We were walking and talking and all of a sudden he stopped.
“We’re here.” He said looking up I looked up to see that we were standing out front of a tattoo shop. we walked in and the man at the counter looked up.
“Are you in for another tattoo Jimmy?” He asked
“No my pretty girl here is getting her first one.” Jimmy said
“Okay honey what do you want and where do you want it?” He asked I walked up to the man and waved him down to my level.
“Can I get a death bat on my upper back?” I said
He nodded and I put my finger to my lips telling him not to say a word to Jimmy.
