You Found Me

“What did he mean?” Madison asked me
“When?” I asked
“About the doorbell.” She said
“Oh about the guys being here?” I asked
“Yeah.” She said
“The rest of the band and Val.” I said
She face grew pale.
“Want to meet them?” I asked
“Not looking like this.” She whined
“Shower and I’ll get some clothes for you.” I said pointing to the bathroom right across the hall.
She peeked out the doorway and ran across the hall.
“Lock it, I’ll get the key.” I said
“Okay.” She said
I heard the lock click and I walked downstairs.
“Where’s Jimmy?” I asked Johnny.
“Kitchen.” He said not taking his eyes off the TV
I walked into the kitchen and Jimmy was searching the fridge for something. “Looking for something good lookin?” I asked poking his butt.
“I really hope your Brian.” He said
My mouth hit the floor, he turned around with a smirk on his face.
“Scared ya.” He said pulling a beer out.
“Can I have one?” I asked
“Nope.” He said
“I don’t want to be the only one not drinking.” I said
“I was kidding. I’m not getting drunk tonight anyways.” He said
I nodded and took the beer he handed me one as well. I opened it and took a sip and set it on the counter, he did the same. He snaked his arm around my waist and leaned down to kiss me.
“One minute. Stay.” I said
“Am I a dog?” He asked
I ran upstairs and grabbed clothes and set them outside of the bathroom door and I knocked.
“Bray?” She asked
“Yes. The clothes are outside of the door.” I said
“Thanks I’ll be a little bit.” She said
“It’s fine, I know how you operate when there are going to be men around.” I laughed walking back down into the kitchen.
He was in the same spot that he was when he left.
“I didn’t mean it.” I said
“The master said stay so the doggy stayed.” He said
“You’re not a dog James.” I said He smiled.
“I look like one.” He smirked
I smacked him and he pulled me to him.
“Repeat after me.” I said
He just looked at me.
“I am James Owen Sullivan.” I said
“I am James Owen Sullivan.” He repeated
“And I am the sexiest guy in my kitchen.” I smiled
“And I am the sexiest and only guy in my kitchen.” He laughed
“Now I’m going to kiss the girl I’m strangely dating.” I said
“Now I’m going to kiss the girl that is strange and I enjoy dating.” He said
He smiled and kissed me and hoisted me up onto the counter and stepped in between my knees, I laced my fingers through his hair.
“Why are you dating me? I’m not pretty, I’m usually considered ugly. I believe I am.” I said
“You pronounced beautiful wrong baby. Don’t believe things that aren’t true. Believe everything that comes out of my mouth.” He said
I laughed and rolled my eyes. I hopped off the counter and grabbed my beer making my way into the living room.
“Wait if you were in the kitchen than who’s in the shower?” Brian asked
“Her best friend, she’s hiding out here from her abusive boyfriend well hopefully ex-boyfriend.” Jimmy said
I nodded.
“What did the asshole do?” Brian said
I’ve come to learn that when it comes to abusive parents it pisses them all off but it pisses Jimmy off the most. And when it comes to abusive boyfriends it pisses Brian off the most.
“He beats her and she has a thick scar on her stomach don’t ask her about it, and just like me you don’t stare at my scars cause it makes me self-conscious and upsets me. She’s the same way. But she tried to leave him and he tried to gut her like a fish and he told her if she tried again he actually would.” I said
Brian’s expression turned from angry to pissed.
“Bri calm down, for me for her, for us. We need you just to calm down.” I said touching his chest.
He took in a deep breath and engulfed me into a bear hug.
“Brian Hun Brayden can’t breathe.” I said
He let me down and looked at me.
“Thank you. I know I lose my temper a lot and you always help.” He said
“Bray!” I heard Madison call from my room
“Yes!” I called back
I waited on an answer.
“Yes!” I called back a little louder.
Another no answer.
“Oh my god. Cover your ears it’s about to go into the Wolowitz household.” I said
“I like her more now. Jimmy can I have her?” Zacky said
“Why?” Jimmy asked
“Big Bang Theory man.” Zack said
“WHAT DO YOU WANT MADDIE!!” I yelled
“IT’S ABOUT TIME YOU ANSWERED! I NEED YOU TO GET YOUR PALE ASS UP HER RIGHT FUCKING NOW!” She yelled back
I looked over at Val and she was on the floor laughing.
“I ANSWERED YOU TWICE BEFORE I STARTED TO THIS VOLUME, SO CALM YOU TAN FUCKING ASS DOWN YOU FUCKING CUNT I’M FUCKING COMING!” I yelled heading to stomp up the stairs.
“Beer babe, handed it here.” Jimmy said
I jutted it out at him.
“What could you possibly want?” I asked opening my door.
“I’m scared to go down there. These stupid jeans are too tight and they aren’t comfortable. You’re a little smaller than me did you notice that?” She asked
“You look fine, and yes I’m sorry I lost weight when I ran away okay. Just come on. You’ll get used to them okay, there is food and beer down there and we’re just sitting around. Here, wear this.” I said taking her shirt off and walking over to my closet.
I brought out a bigger shirt and made it put it on, I got on my knees in front of her and pulled the shirt up.
“Hold this.” I said She laughed.
“If someone walked in this would look so bad.” She said
I laughed and undid the button on the jeans.
“I can breathe.” She sighed.
I rolled my eyes again and grabbed a belt and put it on her.
“This is sad that I’m dressing you Maddie.” I said
“It’s because you’re the best wifey ever.” She laughed
“Even though I ran away without saying a word to you, and that I wasn’t here when you needed me?” I asked
“Even though.” She said
I tucked the button up into the belt and did it so her pants wouldn’t fall off. “There now you’re all fixed.” I said taking the shirt hem from her
“I can breathe!” She said “Thanks lets go.” She added
I rolled my eyes and raced her to the steps resulting in us both tumbling down the flight. She ended up laying across me, both of us laughing our asses off.
“Oh my god are you two okay?” Jimmy asked
“We’re fine babe.” I said
Madison got off of me and held her hand out and helped me up.
“Jimmy I don’t think your girlfriend needs alcohol she seems a little tipsy all on her own.” I heard Zack say
“Fuck off Vengeance.” I said
Madison looked around amazed.
“Madison this is Brian, Johnny, Val, Matt, Zack and you know Jimmy.” I said
“Well hello.” Brian said
I shot him a look and he smiled, I knew it was coming such a little man whore.
“Hey good looking, you come here often?” She asked
“Why yes I do.” Brian said
I laughed and there was a pounding on the door behind Brian, he turned around and answered it.
“Madison what the fuck do you think you are doing you fucking tramp!” Derek said suddenly being there
“How did you know I was here?” Madison asked
“I’ve been walking door to door bitch, come on we’re going home.” He said
“She is home so whoever you are I suggest you get the fuck out.” Brian said
“I’m her boyfriend.” Derek said
“You’re her ex-boyfriend.” I said
“Remember last time you tried to leave what did I do?” Derek asked
Madison
“Tried to gut me like a fish. How could I not fucking remember! I have a scar that makes me look like I was in a motherfucking Saw movie!” Madison yelled
“Good I thought maybe it would teach you not to try and leave again but I guess not.” Derek said
Somehow he ended up in the living room.
“Leave me alone!” Madison yelled
Derek raised his hand and got really close to slapping her but I pulled her away just in time.
“You will never touch my best friend again do you hear me.” I said
I got hit in the face and kneed in the stomach and I hit the floor close to blacking out.
“Then I’ll just hit your fucking ass instead.” He said
“Whoa whoa whoa. You just picked the worst group of men to mess with.” Jimmy said
I heard him, Brian and Matt push Derek out the door and then I blacked out.
“Baby girl are you okay, come to me.” I heard Jimmy’s voice.
I opened my eyes and I was in his room, I looked at him and he had a little blood on him.
“Oh my god what happened?” I asked
“It’s fine, he’s alive and he knows if we see him around any of our girls he won’t be.” He smiled
I nodded.
“Madison is at Brian’s and everyone went home.” He said
I nodded and passed back out. It’s been about two months since Madison and Derek entered our lives, we were sitting at Brian’s house and I was with Madison in her and Brian’s room.
“So are you treating him right?” I smiled asking her
“Yes aren’t you supposed to be asking if he’s treating me right?” She asked “No because I know he is.” I said
The door opened and Brian came in.
“Go to Jimmy.” He said
I nodded and went to say something to Madison but she and Brian were already connected by the lips. I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me. I walked down stairs.
“Where’s meh boo?” I asked
“Kitchen.” Johnny said
I walked into the kitchen and the only thing I could see was the top of Jimmy’s head. He was sitting on the floor leaning against the stove hiding behind in between it and the island. I knelt down silently; he had his head in his hands resting on his knees. Honestly I didn’t know he could get his knees to his chest. I got down completely on my knees and pulled his legs out straight. He still didn’t look up. “Baby?” I asked
He just sighed.
I straddled his lap and pulled his face up, he looked like he had been crying.
“Baby what’s wrong?” I asked
“I’m just stressed.” He said
“You cry when you’re stressed?” I asked
“I’m overthinking things.” He said
“Like what?” I asked
“I just feel.” He said
“Feel what?” I asked
“Unloved.” He said
“Why?” I asked
“I just do.” He said looking down at my lap.
I pulled his chin back up and wiped the tears away with my thumbs.
“Well Jimmy.” I said
“Yeah?” He asked
“I.” I said
“You what?” He asked
“I love you Jimmy.” I said
I had always waited for the guy to say it first in fear of rejection but somehow Jimmy felt different.
“I love you too Brayden.” He said
He pulled me close to him and pushed our lips together.
“Let’s go back to our house and take this a little further.” He said
“Our house?” I asked
“Yes it’s not my house it’s our house.” He said
I smiled and kissed him again.
“Let’s go.” I said
We got up and walked into the living room.
“We’re gonna head home, I’ll text Madison and tell her.” I said to Johnny.
“Why is everyone leaving me here with Matt?” He whined
“We have things to take care of.” Jimmy said
Val started laughing and I smiled at her as Jimmy basically pushed me out to his car. We started driving the half an hour drive home.
“Did you mean it?” He asked
“Did I mean what?” I asked
“When you said you loved me or was it a ploy to get me to smile?” He asked
