“Brayden baby come to daddy! It will be more fun tonight I promise.” My dad yelled drunkenly coming towards my room.
I dumped the contents of my book-bag onto my bed and threw some clothes into and slung it over my shoulder. Fuck this shit I’m fucking done. I looked in my full length mirror and looked at all of my bruises on my face. I opened my window and slowly climbed down the side of my house. I’m almost eighteen and I have to get out of my house. I took of walking towards the park to think out my plan of what I was going to do and where I was going. I sat down on the swings and pulled all the money out of my book-bag it was only about twenty dollars, but I would try to make that last. I headed off towards the highway. As I walked I only stopped to eat, I didn’t have enough money to rent a room to sleep so I sometimes slept on the side of the road. Safe right? I know I’m not smart but after a while your brain starts to shut itself down.

It had been about a three weeks and my iPod had died so I can’t even walk to my favorite band; Avenged Sevenfold. I was utterly in love with their music.
