I was confused. Who was Emma? And why was her name enough to keep Madi from killing Amy. I mean come on, it was obvious that if Tyler hadn't intervened, Amy would be seriously hurting right now. I sighed and closed my eyes trying to think of a way to choose. I also felt like a real douche bag right now. I watched Tyler drive off with Madi in the passenger seat. I looked over at Amy who was holding her nose while cursing out Madi. She called her a bitch, slut, whore, skank and every other name in the book which made me roll my eyes. Madi wore jeans and a t-shirt, while Amy would come to school in a mini skirt and a tight shirt.
Look Brian…I was hoping we could be friends. But you need to make up your mind on if you want to believe me, or if you want to date Amy. Because I am not going to be the root of your anger every time she fucking lies…I…I just can’t deal with this. So come find me when you make up your damn mind.
I sighed before deciding Madi was right. She didn't deserve this. I turned to Amy and bit my lip as I began to think. She looked up at me and smiled at me in a seductive way that usually ended in the bedroom. I closed my eyes to try and think this through. Who was more important to me, my best friend who just started trusting me again? Or the slut I considered my girlfriend? Yeah, this was a hard choice.
I turned to Amy before speaking quietly. "We're through. I don't want to date someone who treats my best friend like shit and spreads stupid rumors," she looked up at me hurt and I rolled my eyes before starting the walk home. When I got home I made a quick decision and headed towards Madi's house instead of my own.
When she answered the door she looked shocked. "I'm sorry Madi. I was stupid to believe Amy...please forgive me?" I stated before looking at my shoes and expecting a slap to the face or a 'fuck off asshole!'
"If you promise me that you're going to stop believing everything she says just because she's a good fuck...I'll forgive you," she stated and when I looked up she had a fierce look in her blue eyes.
"I promise."
