Cassie's P.O.V.

*1 week later*

It have been a week since Zacky overheard me talking to the girls, a week since Zacky have been ignoring me, a week since i didn't see Zacky. I was in my room, looking at the clock. It was too early to get up, so i decided to stay in my room. After half an hour laying down on my bed, doing nothing I got bored and changed my mind. I got up and went and went down the stairs. I entered the living room and sat down on the couch. I took the remote and turned on the TV. Flipping through the channels, I found some cartoons to watch. I was going to lay down when my stomach growled. Guess I'm hungry I went in the kitchen and started looking for something to eat. I found an apple, took a big bit out of it and went back to the living room. I lied down, eating while watching some Tom & Jerry...

I was in car with my parents."Honey why are you sad?" my mom asked me."I wanted one" I said sadly. "We'll get you one next year" my dad said. And then another car crash into my parent's car. I blinked out. I woke up in a room; it was very dark and warm. "You killed them" I heard a voice said. "Who's there? Who are you talking about?" "You killed them. You killed your own parent." the voice repeated. "No, i didn't!" I cried out. "Yes you did. If they wasn't paying attention to you, they would've survive." I got up tears falling down on my face and started running. I didn't know was going on and where was going but I kept running. "You killed them!". The voice kept saying the same thing and I fell into a whole...


"Cassie, wake up!...Cassandra Sanders!"I jumped up, looked around and saw that i was in the living room.It was just one of those stupid nightmares again. I blinked out for a moment and looked at Matt; who was looking at me weirdly. He sat down and hugged me.

"You were screaming. What's wrong?" he asked softly.

I shocked my head and said; "It's just a nightmare."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"No don't worry. It's nothing."
"What time is it?" I asked, changing the subject.

He took out his phone and said; "Half past twelve" I gasped

"I've been sleeping for that long!" He chuckled and I got up.

"I'm going upstairs. I need to take a shower." I went to my room, over to my closet and pick up a blue tank top and my bright red skinny jeans. I got in the shower and let the water cascaded my body. I wash my body and hair and rinsed them. I wrapped a towel around me, dried myself and got dress. When I was done getting dress, I put my hair on a high ponytail and went downstairs. I was half way down the stairs when I heard people taking. The curious person that I am, I got closer and listened. When I heard that it was him, my heart started beating very fast.

"I just need to talk to her." I heard him say."Why?"Before Zacky can tell Matt why, I walked in the kitchen.

"Hey Zacky." I said like there was nothing wrong.

"Hey Cassie, can I talk to you?" he asked and my heart started beating faster.

"Sure."

We went in the living and sat down. I was so nervous. He looked at me and sighed "Cassie, don't lie to me. Do you really like me?"

I hesitated before answering but answered anyway "Yes i do, Zacky but I don't want that to change our friendship. If you don't like me that way it's fine, I still want to be friend with you."

"I don't want that to change our friendship either."I was chocked when he said that; I thought that he wouldn't want to be friends.

"Friends?"

"Friends" he said, pulling me into a hug. And then he quickly pulled away and mumbled a 'sorry'.

"It's okay" I said, giving him a quick hug. I started looking for the remote but didn't see it.

"Get up"

"Why?"

"Just get up" I ordered. He got up and I saw the remote. He was sitting on it and didn't realize that. I turned on the TV and got up.

"Where are you going?" Zacky asked

"I need to eat, Zack. I woke up and went to take a shower." He nodded and I went in the kitchen. I saw Matt sitting at the table. "Matt?" I asked quietly. He looked up and saw that his eyes were puffy. "Matt, what's wrong?" I asked, sitting next to him. He started crying and I pulled him into a hug.

After a few minutes he finally spoke."It's Val, my...wife. She went to see her friends in San Diego and on her way back...she...she got into a crash and she..." He trailed off.

I understood what he was saying. I didn't know what to say but I couldn't help and wonder why I never saw her around.

"I'm sorry...dad" I said, rubbing his back. I can't believe I said it! I called him dad. He noticed and looked at me. I smiled and said; "Everything's gonna be okay. Don't worry."

"Thanks, Cassi-bear" he said trying to light the mood.

"Cassi-bear? Really Dad?"

"Yes Cassi-bear. My little Cassie-bear. My little daughter." When he was done saying that, I saw a tear rolled down his cheeks. "She used to called me Matti-bear." He started crying again. I just sat there rubbing his back and telling him that he'll be fine.

"Cassandraaaa, aren't done eating yet!?" Zacky sang, coming in the kitchen. He saw Matt and I, quickly took a chair and sat down next to Matt. "What's wrong man?"

He started crying harder and I glared at Zacky. "Dad, do you want to go to bed?" He nodded and I stood up. "Zacky can you help me put him in bed?"

"Sure, ma'am." He helped me get Matt in bed and we went back downstairs; to the living room. "So what's wrong with him?"

"Um...do you know someone call Val?" He nodded, telling me to keep going. "Well, she got into a car crash and she...passed away." I said sadly.

"Oh" was all he said.

"Who is she? I know she's Matt's wife but..."

"Yeah she's Matt's wife. You never saw her around 'cause she kinda had issues with Matt. And they needed a break so she decided to go to San Diego to see her friends and family."

It was my turn to say a simple "oh". I went into the kitchen and poured me some cereals because I was starving now! Zacky and I spent the day together like friends. I was feeling sorry for Matt and I'll check up on him every hour.
