Nightmare
2- Caution Ahead
Arianna's POV
The letter is already freaking me out, adding to what happened while i was going to the airport. This is freaky.
I turned to Brian who sat next to me on the couch.
"Should we call the cops? Someone could be stalking us."
"Not yet. If it worsened, then we will."
I am still not sure about Brian's choice.
In the middle of the night, both Brian and I woke up due to an incoming call.
"Hello?"
"Ari, you got the letter, didn't you?" said a male voice.
I put the phone on speaker and looked at Brian through the darkness. He knew it was that weird person that was stalking me.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Who am I doesn't matter. What matter the most is that I'm sorry for scaring you today. I was suppose to bring you in nicely, but someone," the voice paused, sounding angry. "Messed up my plan."
"Leave this woman alone." Brian roared. This woke Aidan up since he started crying.
"Should we leave the baby alone too?"
"Don't you dare to lay a hand on both of them or you are so fucking dead."
"Dead. That should be your lady in a couple of weeks."
"Shut up. I will call the cops." With this, the line goes dead.
I turned to Brian, knowing that this is getting serious. He pulled me against his chest and hug me.
"Don't worry Arianna. I promised i will protect you even if it means my life."
I didn't reply but clinged onto his shirt, against his warmth. I just hope this person stays away from us.
Third Person's POV
After that phone call, the man put down his phone and smirked behind his mask. He knew he is getting closer to his ultimate goal. He knew that this woman, Arianna, is frightened and soon she will be gone from this world. This would do people a favor, especially Brian.
The man then turns towards one of his goons.
"Tomorrow, you know what to do."
Arianna's POV
Last night was freaky to death. The moment that i woke up, I dialed Zacky's house phone and told him everything. He sounded worried and he decided to come over today to visit me.
While i was waiting for him to come, I decided to go grab the mail which is a couple of meters away from our house.
The moment i pulled open the mail box's lid, a huge package fell out. I picked it up with all cautions, scared that it may be that mysterious dude that called me yesterday night, send it.
The package itself seemed unharmful. The only problem is, there isn't a returning address. I decided to bring it home and open it once Zacky got here.
When i returned, everyone was there waiting for me. I greeted Zacky and sat next to Brian.
"What's that you're holding?" Brian asked.
I put the package down.
"This was in the mail today. I hope it's not from the guy who called us yesterday."
"Open it." Zacky said, taking the package away from me in the process.
After he opened it, he dropped the package. I scrambled to his side and picked up the content in the package.
In the package was pictures of Brian and I, some of them even have Aidan in it. But what caught my eyes the most was some pictures. They were taken yesterday.
I looked up at Brian.
"I think it is getting serious."
