I'm Pregnant By A Rockstar. This Is Just Great.
First Day of School: Part 2
Sarah and I were now sitting in uncomfortable chairs waiting to see the principle. The principle, Mr. Stew, was on the phone talking to someone important. Whoever it was better hurry up and get off the fucking phone so that we can see the principle because I really need to pee. I crossed my legs as best I could and gripped the arms of the chair tightly.
"You okay?" Sarah asked.
"No. I'm not. I really have to pee. So we need to see this principle fast so that I can." I looked around the small space to distract me and the secretary took out a water bottle and started drinking it down. "Fuck." I whispered.
"What?" I nodded my head in the direction of the secretary and Sarah looked over. "Oh. I'm so sorry sweetie." She patted my knee and I started to bounce my knee. It had been about five minutes and the principle still wasn't done with his conversation.
"Fuck it." I said and got up. I burst out of the office and ran into someone on my way out. I fell back and hit my head on the floor right where my stitches were. I lay on the floor for a few seconds stunned, then I put my hand up to my head. I felt some sticky stuff in my hair and groaned. "Sarah?" I called out, hoping that she would hear me.
"Oh shit. I'm so sorry. I didn't see where I was going. Are you okay?" I pulled my hand back up to see it and saw that it had blood on it. I'm guessing the guy did too because he said, "Oh fuck. You're bleeding." He got up and opened the office door just as Sarah was walking to it. She saw me lying on the floor with my bloody hand in the air and rushed over to me.
"Oh my God! Rebecca are you okay?"
"Call Matt." I whispered. She nodded and got out her cell phone. She paused.
"I don't know his number." She looked down at me with a worried expression on her face.
"Just get my phone." I told her. "In my pocket. Left side." I rolled over and then felt a sharp pain my head. "Ow." I said.
"Okay. Lay on your back, babe." I sighed and laid on my back. I looked up at the ceiling and could numbly hear Sarah talking on the phone.
"Uh h-hey Matt. It's Sarah...Yeah I'm fine, but Becca isn't.....Some guy ran into her and she fell and hit her head on the floor. She busted her stitches and she's bleeding....No. Matt don't come down here. She just wanted me to tell you....I don't know the guy's name.....No. Matt? Hello? Hello?" She sighed and hung up the phone. "He said he's on his way over here and he's gonna kill the kid who ran into you."
"Okay." I heard ambulance sirens and figured that someone called 911. I could faintly hear "Excuse me?" I knew that that was the EMTs.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" I heard a booming voice. I figured that it was Matt.
"Matt's here." Sarah said.
"I figured." I sighed and tried to sit up. But it hurt too much. I saw Matt walking over to me. Once he saw me, he rushed over to me and pulled me into his arms. My vision started going blurry then.
"I can't see anything." I slurred out.
"It's okay. I got you baby. I got you." Matt kissed my forehead. "Who ran into her?" Matt snarled.
"I did." Matt's head snapped up and he growled at the boy.
"You hurt my girl, I hurt you. What's your name?" Matt snarled.
"Sam." The boy said hesitantly.
"I'm gonna break you, Sam." Matt said darkly as the EMTs loaded me onto the stretcher and lead me away. This is such a great first day of school.
