I woke up the next morning with the radio still on. I rolled over and was gonna cuddle into Matt's chest until all I felt was blankets and pillows. I opened my eyes and saw that the bed space was empty. I sat up slowly and looked around. "Matt?" I called out. No answer. I pulled the blankets off and got up. I walked over to the radio and turned it up really loud so that I could hear it all through the house. I walked over to the door and out into the hallway. "MATT?" I yelled even louder so that if he was in the house he could hear me. Still nothing. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I walked over to the coffee pot and saw that there was a not on it. I picked it up and read what it said:

I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you woke up. I had to go out for a little while with the guys. I'll be back soon. I promise. I love you and I love our baby. I miss you and I'll talk to you when I get home. If you want, I'll tell you why I left this morning. I made you some coffee, in case you wanted some and I had Zacky leave his truck for you. The keys are on the little table by the door. Be careful today and don't go anywhere without your brother or the girls. I don't want you hurt again. I love you.

P.S.- the coffee creamer is in the fridge next to the milk and the sugar is in a crystal bowl by the coffee pot.[/i][/color]

I smiled to myself as I set the note down. That man. I love him. He is so protective, lovable and crazy. But he's the best. I walked over to the cabinets and started opening them, looking for the coffee cups. I found them in the cabinet two away from the fridge. I poured myself some coffee and got the creamer out of the fridge. I poured some in and grabbed a spoon for the sugar. I spooned two spoonfuls of sugar in my coffee and then stirred it. I pulled the spoon out, blew on the coffee and then took a sip. I smiled. Matt makes good coffee.

"Now, what to do?" I walked around the house and looked in all of the rooms. I got bored after looking in the first two rooms. I walked back into Matt and mine room and set down my coffee on one of the bedside tables.. I turned down the radio as the song [i]Lips of an Angel[/i] by Hinder started to played. I loved this song. I turned it back up loud, started to sing along with the lyrics and then started to dance around the room. Even though it's a slow song, I still moved around the room. I twirled around and closed my eyes.

I smiled to myself as the song came to a close. I opened my eyes and stopped moving. I was by the window and I looked out to see a red truck. Oh Zacky! You're so much more awesome in my book. I love the color red! I walked over and into the closet. I flipped through the clothes and pulled out a pair of jean shorts, a t-shirt, a pair of flip-flops, a bra and underwear. I got hopped in the shower first to get the chlorine out of my hair, then I got dressed and grabbed my coffee from the table, along with my phone, my wallet and IPod. I still cannot believe that I left my purse at the studio yesterday. I could've swore that I brought it with me. Oh well. Thanks to Matt, who brought it home for me. Or had someone bring it home for me.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I finished off my coffee and then put the coffee cup in the dishwasher. I headed for the front door and turned on my cell phone. I grabbed Zacky's keys and walked out the door. I didn't have any keys for Matt's house yet, so I searched around by the front door in case he had a set spares. Which he did. I picked them up and locked the door, throwing the spare set in my purse so that I could get back into the house. I unlocked it and got in. I figured out which key it was after a few minutes and then started the truck.

I pulled out of the drive-way and then drove to the mall. I got confused because I didn't know where I was going. but thankfully after an hour of driving, I found it. I pulled into a parking space and got out, locking it as I left. As I was walking into the mall, I felt my phone start vibrating. I took it out of my pocket and checked the caller ID. [i][b]Matt[/b][/i]. I smiled and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby. How are you?"

"I'm good. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm good. I'm sorry I left this morning. I just really had to do something with the guys."

"That's okay. I understand. Band thing?"

"Um...no." He said.

"Werewolf thing?" I whispered into the phone, just in case someone was behind me. He chuckled.

"Yeah babe. A werewolf thing." He whispered too. I giggled.

"Don't mock me , jerkface." I said, but couldn't help laugh.

"Awwwh. Baby, you know that I love you." He cooed.

"I love you too, Mattie." I smiled and opened the door to the mall.

"So what are you doing today?" He asked and I heard some rustling.

"I'm at the mall."

"With your brother?"

"No." I said simply and walked around, looking for Border's.

"With one or all of the girls then?"

"Nope. I'm by myself. Hey, where's Border's in the mall?" I asked.

"Why are you by yourself?! Did you read my note today?!"

"Yes, I read your note. I just chose to go by myself."

"What the fuck?"

"Matt, I don't wanna have a babysitter. Now answer my question. Where is Border's?"

"It's right by Sears. Now please be careful. I'm calling your brother."

"No. You better not, Matthew Charles Sanders. If you do that, I swear to God, I'll stay at someone else's house for the rest of this pregnancy." I said seriously.

"You wouldn't." He said with menace.

"Try me." I walked into Border's. We were silent for a few minutes and I had to check to make sure that he didn't hang up on me. I started looking through the Romance novels and found one that was about a girl falling in love with a werewolf.

"Okay. I'm sorry. I'm just worried about you and I care about you." He sighed. "I'm sorry. You're right. You don't need a babysitter."

"Thank you."

"And would you really live with one of the other guys?"

"Probably not. I would miss you too much and I love you."

"I love you too. Have a good day. Be careful."

"I will. You have a good day and be careful too." I hung up and started looking at the backs of all the novels that looked interesting to me. I was reading the back of one that really held my interest, so when someone tapped me on the shoulder I jumped up.

"Hey. Sorry." Someone said.

"It's okay." I got a good look at the person. I realized that it was Dr. James. "Dr. James?"

"Yeah. Well, actually when I'm not working it's Carlos." He smiled. "Rebecca, right?"

"Yeah. Hi. This is a coincidence." I laughed a little. He just chuckled.

"Yeah it is. Where's your fiancé and your friends?" He asked looking around for them.

"They're working today."

"That's cool. What do they do?"

"They're a band. Avenged Sevenfold." I said and smiled widely.

"Oh yeah. I've heard of them. My niece loves them. Her favorite is Johnny Christ." He smiled a little.

"She does? I'll have to tell him." I laughed quietly.

"Good. I'm sure he'll like that."

"I know he will. The guys love their fans." I grinned. "That's a good quality in the band and they really care for them. Some bands wouldn't give two shits about their fans. Only their fame."

"That's true."

"Yeah. Well, I gotta get going. It was good to see you again." I said.

"You too." I waved as I left and he waved back. I headed out to the car and unlocked it. I turned it on and the radio came on. I buckled my seatbelt and drove home. That was weird. I cannot believe that I just saw Dr. James, or Carlos as he said, at Border's.

Matt's POV

After I hung up with Rebecca, I stripped out of my clothes at Brian's house and set them on the bed in my room. We all have our own rooms at each other's houses. It may seem weird, but very convenient. I took a deep breath and walked out onto the balcony. I closed my eyes and thought about what happened to Rebecca. I felt the beast in me release itself and I jumped from the balcony, changing into my wolf form. I landed on the ground on my paws and opened my eyes. I saw Brian and Zacky waiting for me on the outskirts of the forest behind Brian's house. I jogged over to them and gave them a simple nod. We ran into the forest and met up with Jimmy and Johnny.

You might be wondering what we all look like as wolves. Well, I'll tell you. When Brian turns into a wolf, he is all white with yellow eyes. When Zacky turns into a wolf, he's all gray with light blue eyes. When Jimmy and Johnny turn into a wolves, they look exactly alike, except for the eyes. Johnny has green eyes and Jimmy has yellowish-orange eyes.(in the picture, Jimmy is the taller one and Johnny is the short one.) And when I turn into a wolf, I'm all black with blue eyes.(in the picture, the wolf has yellow eyes. please just imagine blue eyes like the picture I had before.)

When we're in our wolf forms, we can read other people's thoughts. But it's not like that stupid Twilight Saga. We can't read each other's thought by force, like everything we think everyone else can hear. We only hear like important stuff. Or stuff that we really want people to think. So our thoughts are our own.

We ran off into the woods and headed to the South. Last night, I called Jimmy and asked him to look up Dr. James. He did and apparently our good friend, Dr. James died in 1879. So this guy must have been using the name as an alias. We didn't find anything else about him. But we did find out where he use to live. So, we're gonna go there and see if "Dr. James" still lives there. We ran for a little longer and then finally came to a stop outside an old looking house on the outskirts of Huntington Beach. We prowled inside from the back door and sniffed around.

"Hey, I wonder where Carlos is." My ears pricked up as I heard voices.

"Yeah. Where is he?" Another voice said. I slowly walked over to where I heard the voices and felt the presence of the guys behind me. I saw two men sitting around a coffee table and a TV going on in the background. There was a fat one and real skinny one.

"I wonder if he got that hot chick from that White Castle's we robbed. The one that spit in his face. Man, she was fucking sexy as hell. What'd he say her name was?" The skinny one said.

"Rebecca Cross. Yeah, I know. I'd love to tap that." The fat one said. I growled and got back on my haunches.

"Oh yeah. He said she was engaged. Man, that guy is lucky. I bet he fucks her every night. I bet she's good too." The skinny one said with a dreamy sigh. That's all it took. I launched at him and took him by surprise. I bit his throat and ripped it out. His blood tasted like ash and salt. He was a vampire. Brian came and helped me tear him apart. Jimmy, Johnny and Zacky took on the fat one. I ripped the skinny guy's head off and kept ripping him apart. When both of them were dead, we left and ran to the nearest river to wash off. We ran back to Brian's and changed back into our natural form just outside the house.

"We didn't get him, but we will. Or I will, if you guys don't want too. I completely understand."

"Of course we're gonna help you. We want him dead just as much as you. No one hurts our future queen, especially if she's our friend." Johnny said. "Yeah" came from the rest of the guys.

"Okay. I gotta head home." We all walked inside and I ran upstairs to change. I got dressed and then ran down the stairs, saying goodbye to the guys and Michelle. I cannot wait to get home to see Rebecca.

Carlos' POV

I stood in the backyard of her house and watched her get out of the truck. She pulled her keys out of her purse and unlocked the house. She walked inside and got settled in. I stood outside and listened to her move around the house. [i]She will be mine. I'll make her mine. No matter what happens.[/i]
