"Dusty"
An enigmatic Delta Force operator, he voluntarily goes back to Texas when he hears his homestate is under attack. With him involved, both Yahweh and Avenged don't stand a chance
Annaliese Ramirez
A highly decorated detective with the Sherriff's Department in a major county within Texas, she is assigned to investigate Val's murder, but turns her attention to the widespread death and destruction as a result, and will do anything to stop it.
Art Mullen
An experienced law enforcement officer and Raylan's boss, he acts as the voice of reason for both Raylan and Dusty. A higly likeable person who is popular in law enforcement, not just for his friendly persona but because he is amongst the best at the job.
Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan
Avenged Sevenfold's dead drummer. Jimmy stays with the guys in spirit, even though they don't know it. Jimmy can no longer see his friends suffer and does whatever he can from the grave to help them.
Joey Jordison
Session drummer for Avenged Sevenfold, as a favour to them. Val's murder shakes him to his very core, and he is at a loss as to what to do as he watches the eventual carnage blow up around him.
Johnny Christ
Bassist of Avenged Sevenfold. Like everyone else, he is devastated by Val's murder. Easily influenced to do what he feels is necessary.
Madeleine DuPree
Johnny's French girlfriend. Horrified by what was done to Val, she acts as Johnny's voice of reason, and is there for him to the very end.
Matt Sanders
Lead Vocalist of Avenged Sevenfold. Once a happily married man, after Val's horrific murder he completely falls apart, and starts to lose his sanity. His desire for vengeance coupled with the voices in his head have dire consequences.
Michael Yahweh
Born Michael George West to a conservative, loving family, Michael displayed a sense of entitlement and sociopathic tendencies from a young age. His family forced to send him away for help after doing everything they could to make him a better person, Michael successfully manipulated and scammed his way through life. His cult, The Right Hand of The Holy Trinity, is nothing more than a front for him for his various activities including drugs, paedophilia and complete domination of his followers.
Michelle DiBenedetto
Val's twin sister and Synyster's partner. Val's death has hit her extremely hard, and she struggles to keep it together so that no one else is lost.
Raylan Givens
An FBI Special Field Agent, he has spent his whole adult life fighting for justice. The quieter of the duo of him and Art Mullen, he is a deadly force to be reckoned with.
Synyster Gates.
Lead guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold. Following Val's brutal murder he is torn apart from watching Matt and Michelle lose their minds, and will gladly do anything to get justice... anything.
Valary DiBenedetto
Matt's loving wife, who is unjustly taken from him by a cult. She reappears to Matt in frightening ways, leaving him to believe that she has gone to Hell and won't rest that he is down there with her. But others say that his visions of Val are a psychological side effect of the trauma he has suffered.
Zacky Vengeance
Rhythm guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold. Perhaps the only band member who manages to keep himself on the straight and narrow. He feels he has to be strong for everyone else affected by Val's death.
