“Kenzie wait up!” I stopped and saw Alex Dawson running toward me… It’s been 5 years since my mother dragged Zacky and me out of the park. I’m 13 and he’s 18…he still whines more then I do but that’s because I still have no friends… everyone doesn’t know I’m there.
Alex Dawson is like…he’s like the Justin Timberlake of Roran Middle School. He’s the most popular jock that every girl has a crush on. I have a crush but he’s too much older then me.
Zacky’s in a band! With Matt, Brian and Jimmy. Their bassist is only 2 years older then me… he’s a sophomore in high school his name is Johnny Seward but they call him Johnny Christ. He’s my height; I’m not sure what that means either I’m too tall or he’s very short!
“You actually stopped!” Alex said in amazement.
“My brother’s waiting.” I explained wanting to go. I still tag onto my brother all the time! Only now I’ve resulted into starring at my shoes. The guys look out for me like a little sister, which pisses off Zack.
“Oh, um I was wondering-“
“Macky!!!” I turned around and blushed Jimmy was running over with Zacky, the rest of the guys were jogging behind them. If you haven’t figured it out yet…my too old for me crush is Jimmy.
“H-Hi.” I whispered. Zacky came up and Jimmy high fived me then saw Alex.
“Hello dude…” He said slowly putting his arm on my head.
“Who do we have here?” Matt asked coming behind me. They acted like my brother or my own security…I get bullied al lot.
“Alex. I was wondering if Kenzie wanted to hang out at the moves on Friday.” He said watching the 5 guys.
“Oh the movies? Hear that Zacky?” Brian asked smirking. I looked at Johnny and he laughed at my face. Matt and Brian took an arm on Alex and took him to the bench a few feet away. Zacky began pacing in front of him.
“So…you Alex-?” He stopped and looked at him.
“Dawson.” He answered.
“Right. So you Alex Dawson wish to take my little sister Mackenzie Baker-“ Johnny stopped him as he leaned on me.
“Dude movies! Not marriage!” Johnny stressed. I stifled a laugh.
“I knew that!” He said annoyed. Brian then pushed Zacky out of the way.
“What are your intentions with our Macky-Mickey?” My eyes widened and I put my hands over my face.
“Oh no not intentions!” I grumbled into my hands.
“Kenzie I gotta go…” He trailed off. I waved and sighed.
“I hate you 5.” I glared at them. Jimmy then picked me up.
“We love you too Macky!” I clung to his neck…I was deathly afraid of heights and Jimmy is WAY too tall!
