“So are you two ex’s?” I asked walking up the stairs to my locker for lunch,
“HA!” She bursted out in giggles either because:
1) I was asking this shyly and being dorky
2) She had no clue what I meant
3) I was missing something obvious
4) She was insane...

“NO! Jake and I are siblings... he failed gym last year so he’s re-taking it... he’s my older brother!” I sighed,
“That makes so much sense! Hey my step-brother told me to eat with him, you wanna join so I’m not insane from guys?” I asked desperately as Kelsey waiting for me, her locker was rate by the caf, so we would stop there after,
“Sounds funky! Who’s your step brother anyways?” She asked as we started walking...
“Brian Haner! Jake isn’t too thrilled with them it seems.” I mumbled to her as we opened the door to the C hall.
“Well my brother only likes you if you’re one: in his social group or two: a really hot girl!” I laughed.
She linked arms with me and we walked into the caf, it was nice having a best friend like this again... it was certainly different then Kayla there was a closeness but not like Kelsey and I! I grabbed fries and a Dr. Pepper. She had a burger and Pepsi,
“Free table!” She yelled pulling me to it quickly, I laughed when she glared at people who laughed at us,
“Mia!” I heard suddenly, I turned around and saw the whole gang plus two standing in line. I waved and turned back to Kelsey who was now...
“Why are you blushing the colour of your hair?” I asked stabbing a fry, her eyes were wide and she looked over my shoulder, and her eyes got wider and her cheeks got brighter,
I was suddenly got mushed into a Jimmy and Matt sandwich,
“Matt I believe we make a sexy sandwich!” Jimmy said, Brian and Johnny sat on either side of Kelsey while the two girls sat on Matt and Brian, they were twins and I looked at Kelsey who was leaning away from Johnny who laughed at Jimmy since he had Ketchup on his nose,
“Mia, this is my girlfriend Michelle, her twin sister Val is Matt’s girlfriend.” I nodded and looked at Kelsey who was looking at me and darting her eyes towards Johnny, I frowned not understanding her and began picking at fries trying to think at what she was saying...
“Guys this is Kelsey! My new awesome friend!” I said poking at friends, she smiled at everyone then looked at her burger,
“Hey why is your face so red?” Johnny asked,
“N-No r-reason.” She stuttered, my head shot up,
“OH! I GET IT NOW!” I cheered receiving worried looks from some people but Kelsey glared and Jimmy laughed and gave me a thumbs up, he made a spoon stick to his nose...
“Congrats Jimmy...” I said with an eyeroll.
