When I woke up I was so scared everything had been a dream... I ignored my scared feeling and got dressed in dark washed jeans, a green t-shirt that said ‘I’m not the girl the tv says I should be!’ with my royal blue hoodie. I threw my hair into a pony-tail with layers falling out around my face and had my ends metallic green. My eyes lined with black I went down-stairs and made my breakfast.

“Come on Mia! We’re going to be late!” I still had my doubts because Brian hadn’t said anything about Zacky and I... I followed him quietly to the car and stayed quiet.

“Are you okay? You seem... quiet and that’s not you.” He said focussing on the road.

“I’m fine...” I trailed off. We got there and I saw everyone including Kelsey standing near the school doors. I pulled my bag closer and received a shove from Brian.

“What the fuck!” I yelled almost tripping, he simply grinned and walked ahead.

“We saw that! You two are such... sibs!” Matt laughed. I crossed my arms.

“Why is everyone starring at me...” I asked getting creepy smiled out people.

“No reason...” Val laughed.

“Hey guys!” Zacky said. My cheeks instantly flushed and Kelsey giggled with Val. Zacky spun me and kissed me. It wasn’t long but man was it breath-taking!

He let go, and I bit my lip, I almost fell but kept my balance.

“Hi to you too!” I sighed smiling at him.

“Aw! Love birds!” Val chirped and everyone laughed. Even Brian. I shook my head and the bell rung.

I felt my bag shift and saw Zacky slip something in it while laughed at the guys. We went our separate ways mostly because I had Math with Jimmy first. When we got there I was pulled into a seat by Rev.

“Hello to you too Jimmy!” I giggled.

“Come on girlie! We’re gunna talk about everything!” I basically pissed myself laughing at his voice.

When class started and Mr. Paquette started his boring lesson! I quiet dug through my bag and pulled out the box the was slipped into my bag. It was small and long. I opened it and sat on a silver chain was a black guitar-pick locket with ZV+MV in gold engraved on the front. I think I felt my heart actually leap into my throat then melt into my chest.

“Oh my god Mia who gave you that!” Jimmy whispered over my shoulder. I went to answer but found myself choked up.

“Zacky!” I got out. When I opened it, it was empty but I didn’t care I put it around my neck rate away. I felt so amazing! Jimmy kept poking at it on the way to Gym. I saw Zacky and Brian standing near the bleachers when I walked in fighting with Jimmy,

“Stop it!” I said for the 30th time.

“But it’s so shiny!” He repeated for the 29th time!

“I don’t care! Stop picking at my neck you Jimmy-vampire!” I yelled laughing. When we got up to them, I saw Zacky’s eyes light up.

“You found it!” He smiled and hugged me. I felt electricity through my veins as I hugged him back.

“Found what!” Brian’s voice was suddenly protective and loud.

“The sexy locket Zacky gave Mia!” I laughed as I saw Brian’s face.

“I would pretend you’re a girl so Brain can’t kill you.” I whispered as I ran away.

We did soccer in Gym and it was not pretty... I got pelted by people with the ball and screamed every time Jimmy kicked the ball at me!

“Jimmy stop!” I yelled after he did it.

“It wasn’t me that time!” He yelled pointing to a smirking Zacky.

“You’re dead Vengeance!” I tackled him to the ground. I giggled as I sat on him. He flipped me and kissed me,

“Baker! Laurence! Stop the PDA and get on the field!” The Coach yelled. I laughed and accepted Zacky’s hand. I was playing defence when I got hit again.

“Jake! What the hell man!” I yelled rubbing my thigh.

“Yeah it was me! I bet you wanna tackle me right?” My eyes kind of widened. Zacky walked behind him and grabbed his shoulder. I saw him whisper something. He came up and wrapped his arms around me.

“What did you say to him.” I asked smirking.

“That you’re my girlfriend and if he makes a move on you I’ll get Jimmy and Matt to kick his skinny ass to Uranus and he can stay there!” God I love this boy!

“Aw I love you!” I laughed. Lunch was fun for a while until Jake and his posse came around. When he did Kelsey dived behind Matt and Jimmy.

“I’m not here...” She whispered.

“Mia can I talk to you?” I took a bite of my pizza.

“I don’t know Jake I think you’re talking to me rate now.” I folded my hands in front of me.

“Sure smart-ass I mean away from your friends.

“How about no.” I said casually.

“You’ll talk to me just wait.” He popped his collar and walked away. Johnny stood.

“Okay walk away gay boy! No one pops their collar anymore!” I began laughing.
