The next morning I felt very awkward... I mean I didn’t know what to make of Jimmy’s idea for Zacky asking me out, to me that sounded like he liked me! But! I’ve learned never get your hopes up...

The night before they guys had slept over so I snuck down and grabbed my book from Zacky’s chest and I almost fell when Johnny thought my ankle was a teddy bear!

“Morning Mia!” Brian smiled at me as I sat eating a bowl of cereal,

“Hey...” Just then my Mom came in and looked at me,

“Why are you dressed like you’re going to school?” Brian snorted then everyone came in from the basement,

“Because I am? It’s Tuesday...”

“Hey Mrs. Laurence.” Everyone mumbled

“Honey didn’t Brian tell you?” I looked at Brian. He nudge in the direction of Mr. Haner,

“OH! That Brian, um no...”

“Brian! Honey! You were supposed to tell Mia she was going to stay home and do wedding stuff!” My eyes widened,

“Mom! Honestly on my second day? I should go out and... learn.” I said pain in my voice weddings = freak outs... Mom + freak outs = BAD!

“Honey I need you!”

“I’ll help you!” Jimmy offered then the rest of the guys pitched in,

“Well I don’t know...”

“Come on! Matt can... carry heavy stuff!” I said trying to think on my feet and failing

“Oh okay I don’t see the harm!” I sighed and smiled at them, when my Mom was out of sight I jumped up and hugged Jimmy,

“Thank you!” I yelled

“Okay!” He yelled hugging me back.

After two hours of meetings and ‘consulting’ we were off to the horror...

“No Mom please not dress shopping!” I yelled,

“Honey the wedding is in two weeks! I need to finish the planning and get you and Brian dates!”

“Actually Shelly I have a girlfriend Michelle she’ll be my date.” Brian smiled proudly,

“That just leaves my little girl then!” They laughed when my Mom squished me.

We had all spread out looking for dresses when I found this beautiful white one...

“Holy shitters...” I mumbled looking at it in the mirror, I held it up to my body and it looked perfect!

“Whoa, Mia you look really cool!” I jumped and saw it was Zacky,

“Oh haha thanks Zacky.” I quickly put it back and kept looking, my fingerless gloves getting in the way every now and again.

“Hey Mia can I ask you something?” I turned and jumped seeing how close Zacky had gotten,

“Sure yeah go ahead!” I rambled,

“You want to catch a movie tonight or something just the two of us? Get to know each other better?” I did my best to stand up straight and remember how to talk,

“Y-Yeah! That sounds like fun!” Okay so far so good!

“Perfect I’ll come by around 7:00?” I nodded and he smiled and walked down more aisles. I sighed smiling and picked up that dress.

“Oh! Mia there you are! Why are you smiling so much?” My Mom laughed and showed me the dresses she picked, we all gathered around at one point and watched her try on dresses, each time the guys did something distracting Zacky moved closer and closer to my side, I smiled when we kind of linked our hands

“Whoa...Mrs. L!” Jimmy said whistling, I slapped him, and he laughed until he saw our hands, we quickly pulled away and I went up to my Mom,

“Mom you look stunning! I think this is the dress!” I cheered, it hugged every bit of her body perfectly, an ivory white with lace traditional style long and elegant it just look special on her!

“Oh I think you’re right! I can’t wait! I really can’t!” She cheered, when we got home it was only Brian, Mom and me I saw the clock and it flashed 4:50 PM at me, I squealed and ran upstairs,

“Mia! What’s the hurry?” Brian yelled after me, I ignored him and ran up to get dressed for my date.
