“Yo Colleen!”
“Jimmy, hi! W-What’s up?” She asked somewhat getting over her stutter.
“Hey, Savanna.” He calmly noticed my presence.
“Rev.” One of his nicknames. They all have them. Brian is Synyster Gates, Johnny is Johnny Christ, Matt is M. Shadows and Baker is Zacky Vengeance. Jimmy no doubt is The Rev.
“Colleen, Matts parents are out of town and he’s having this party, you in?” Colleen snapped out of her dream state.
“Yeah! Totally!” She grinned.
“Savanna if you want, I guess you could go with Jellybean.” Colleen giggled at the nickname.
“Yeah, I want to get hammered.” Jimmy obviously missed my hint of sarcasm because he grinned and replied.
“Wow, Vanna! I didn’t know you drank!” He punched my shoulder. Once Jimmy left I dragged Colleen to Science.
Fast forward
Once school finished we headed home… well to our apartments. Colleen is an only child and I have an older sister who is living with my Mom. She was my apartment neighbor. She lived to my right. We normally play cards through or on the balcony.
“Banana, what are you wearing to the party?” I grunted,
“Clothes.”
“Okay…what clothes?” She tried as we leaned out on the balcony.
“Pants, shirt and a hoodie.” I yawned.
“Wow, aren’t we specific.” She mumbled. We figured the part started at 8:00 so we would show at 9:00. By 8:40 we began to leave. We told our parents we were studying at a friend’s house. So I said bye to my Dad and step-mom Jen.
“Trying to impress Jimmy?” I smirked, she began to lock her door in pink skinny jeans, gray t-shirt with a big music note, and underneath is said ‘music is my religion.’ With a jean jacket and white etnies.
I locked my door wearing: black converse, Iron Maiden hoodie with black skinny jeans and a Jimmy Hendrix tank top. It took around 20 minutes to get to Matt’s house. Once there it was a short time before Colleen and me lost each other.
It’s been 20 minutes Colleen had gotten pulled away, my guess she found Jimmy.
“Whoa.” I said blankly. I don’t think I’ve seen so many types of beers in my life!
“Vanna-banana! You came! Aha! Take your sexy body over there and drink yourself till you’ve passed out!” Brian slurred. I shrugged and walked over to my buffet of beer.
It was about 12:30 am when things got fuzzy. I remember having a chugging contest with Jimmy, loser had to skinny dip in Matt’s pool. Guess who lost? Well I’ll tell you I surely didn’t win. It was cold and wet and there was a lot of whistling.
Fast forward to morning
Lights hurt… It’s bright and painful. That could be my hangover though… I groaned and turned over.
Turned over? My eyes shot open, I sat up. I was in a bed sheets covering my naked body.
“Shit!” I spun up grabbing my visible clothes and shoving them on.
“Mmm. Morning Baby.” I knew that voice, my pace quickened. I ran downstairs with my major headache. Everyone was passed out everywhere. I saw Colleen and Jimmy passed out together on the couch but I just left.
“Savanna Alanna Parker!” I cringed my keys still in the lock, Dad with his coffee in one hand.
“Morning Dad.” I grinned and shut the door.
“Where have you been!” He sternly asked.
“We as in, Colleen and myself as you know were at Sarah’s to study and we fell asleep and forgot to call.” I bounced on my heels while explaining.
“Why didn’t I hear Colleen?”
“She went to breakfast with Jimmy, a friend from school.” Oh she owes me one!
“Oh…well fine then.” I took off my shoes and went to my room.
