Nothing Else Matters.

Ride.

I shifted my eyes open, but the incoming sunlight was burning my eyes. I mumbled a curse under my breath. Plus, my head was pounding. I was definitely hungover. I rubbed my eyes before attempting to open them again. Once I had the strengeth to, I saw a black shirt with the Appetite For Destrucation logo on it. My eyes scanned to the right, seeing the sleeves were cut off. Oh, fuck me.

Matt's hand ruffled his hand through my hair, "Well, mornin', sunshine." He said softly. His voice was scratcher than usual. The awful part of that was that his voice was already hot as hell, and now it reached a new level. I smiled at him, blinking my eyes slowly. This was sight I'd like to see every morning.

"Good morning, Matty." I said, stretching the top half of my body up. My eye stayed on his face. I fell back to sit on my feet, my arms lying over his chest. "So, do you remember last night?"

"Kinda," Matt's teeth clamped onto the cool metal that wrapped around his lower lip. He was nervous and that was one of his perks. "I remember the show and... us outside."

I clenched my jaw. He remembered that, too? Oh... shit. That was not what I wanted to him to remember, anything but that. "What happened outside?" I tilted my head, trying to act clueless.

A nervous chuckle came from his lips, "Well... You had to tell me something about the bad, then you sang Mr. Brownstone to me, and we slow danced. That was nice."

My cheeks heated up and I looked down to play with the hem of his shirt to try to hide the blush. I picked up my head and looked around the room. The guys were all knocked out still. "So, how long were you up before I got up?"

"Hm," Matt thought, then shrugged, "Maybe a good ten minutes. You're a cute sleeper."

I laughed softly. For some reason, whenever a guy said something was cute, it made me laugh. "Thanks..." I said with the blush invaiding my face. Matt lifted his hand to slid his finger down my stained cheek. The blush just went to a brighter color.

"I've got an idea." He said, standing up. "Let's go for a ride." He leaned down to grab my hand. He pulled me up to my feet.

"Ride?"

"Yeah, on my bike." A cocky grin grew onto his lips. I pressed my lips together and shrugged. I agreed, despite the butterflies that exploded into my stomach. Matt rubbed his eyes and stretched. In the meantime, I took the ponytail holder from my wrist and pulled my hair into one. "Anabelle? I think it would be better if you kept your hair down. I mean, it'll be easier to but the fuckin' helmet on."

"Could've told me that before, asshole." I rolled my eyes at him, then pulled the ponytail out, shaking my head side to side. He smirked and picked me up over his shoulder, "Matthew!" I yelled, but let him carry me out.

I groaned as my feet hit the ground and glared at him. He handed me the helmet, "Don't be a little bitch." He smirked, then got onto his bike. My eyes went wide as I started to feel the nervousness over come my body. "C'mon, you can do it." He gave me a reassuring smile. I took a deep breath, put on the helmet and sat down onto the seat. I scooted closer to him, letting my converse hit his heel. My arms wrapped around his thick torso and I held onto him as tight as I could, "Whoa, ease up, princess." He said, chuckling. I loosed my grip, letting out a nervous laugh.

Matt started the motorcycle, and kicked the the kickstand up. I made a noise and he looked over his shoulder. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. Can you trust me?" I nodded my head. He revved up the bike. As he backed up, my grip tighted and I held my breath. Once the motorcycle was straight, he sped down the road, heading down toward the boardwalk. I closed my eyes as I felt my hair blowing backward. The cool air from the speed brushed against my skin, but for some reason, I was starting to feel relaxed. I opened my eyes and saw Matt focus on the road. I felt safe behind him, having the mind set that we were going to crash and we were going to get to the destination safely.

Before I knew it, Matt parked in a spot at the beach. He turned off the engine, then kick the stand down. "You can let go of me now." He chuckled and I laughed with him, removing my arms from his torso. I took off the helmet, moving my head side by side again. Matt's teeth were on his piercing again.

"What?" I asked, laughing softly, handing him his helmet.

"You just looked really damn beautiful." He smiled. Of course, my cheeks turned bright red. I thanked him. He placed the helmet onto the seat. "So, wanna go get food and shit?" I agreed and walked to the boardwalk with him. My headache wasn't getting better, but I tried my best to ignore it.

We decided to get pizza. Matt said it was the best pizza in town and I swear to God that it was. He paid, but I couldn't help but feel guilty for not paying. "Hey," He started as we were walking along the boardwalk. I looked at him. "Follow me." He led me into the arcade which he played Skee Ball. I leaned against the wall, watching him play. He earned enough to win a big, purple elephant. He handed it to me. "I wanted to win this for you." I took the elephant from him and kissed his cheek, thanking him.

"You're the sweetest." I said. He's cheeks started to pink up a little, too. It was adorable. I took his hand and pulled him into the photobooth. I put in the right amount of money and we started our poses. The first one was a 'grr' face with the horns, the second was me kissing his cheek and he had a wide smile on his face, and the last was me going cross-eyed and he was kissing my cheek. We left the photobooth and we split the picture since it gave us two sets. "We're cute." I said.

"I'm pretty sure you're the cute one." Matt commented, bringing his eyes up to me. I shook my head and he rolled his eyes. "Let's go back. I'm sure the guys would be missin' us by now."

I nodded, starting to walk over to the motorcycle. Matt was on the left of me. He had this thing where he felt as 'if a car came he'd be the first one hit' and so he'd protect me. His hand found mine and intertwined our fingers together. My heart stopped and I felt like I was going to throw up butterflies. We walked in silence, just enjoying each other's company. Once we arrived at his motor cycle, he stopped as I was against the bike.

I looked up at him and his hand cupped by face. My heart stopped beating again. He leaned down, pressing his lips against mine softly. My eyes slipped closed and I returned his kiss. He pulled back and pressed his forehead against mine. He smiled, letting out a small laugh. "That was nice." I commented as I said last night.

"It really was.." He said, looking into my eyes. I leaned up, making our lips made contact once more. It was perfect.

Once he pulled back, I put on the helmet. He sat onto the motorcycle and my arms wrapped around his torso. The elephant was against his chest, which made him laugh. The kickstand was up and he revved it up. "I trust you." I said, and he looked back.

"Good." He smirked, then started off back to Brian's house. What happened that afternoon would remain between us. The rest of the guys were never going to know, at least we didn't want them to know. But, we didn't know that they were going to bug it out of us.

Notes

It's kinda short and not my best work. I apologize in advance.
Enjoy, loves!
