"Okay, so I lead a pretty normal life. I'm from Boston, Mass. I graduated High School today. I don't really have a family... well it's complicated. Baseball is my favorite sport. I love punk music. Yeah." I finished.

I could feel the tears forming in the back of my throat as I attempted to explain my 'family situation', and I was hoping they wouldn't ask any questions about it either.

Jimmy looked up confused, "You graduated High School... today?"

"Yup"

"Wow, congrads" He joked. I laughed and replied, "Thankyou."

"So you're a punk?" Brian joked.

"You could say that"

"What bands do you like?" He asked.

"Well besides you guys, The Clash and the Sex Pistols are my favorites, then there's Rancid, Social Distortion and some others..."

"Wow that's pretty sweet" Johnny said.

I just smiled. I was in shock. The one and only Avenged Sevenfold was asking me questions. I was the happiest I had ever been.


"So, it's getting kind of late we should probably head home for the night" Matt suggested.

All good things must come to an end, I guess... I thought.The guys started to get up to leave so Matt and I were left sitting on the couch alone.

"Are you staying at a hotel?" Matt asked me.

"Yes"

"Why don't you come to my house for the night" He smiled.

"I would love to"

"Great"

On the way to his house we stopped at the hotel I was staying in and I gathered what I needed for the night.

We pulled up into Matt's driveway. His house was huge. We climbed out of the car and I followed him in, as he opened the front door for me and said,

"After you"

He was such a gentleman, I didn't expect that from someone like him, such a famous Rock Star. That obviously didn't go to his head though.

"You're house is so... wow... I love it" I said, at loss for words of how to describe his grand home.

"Thank you, it's really not as big as it looks" He smiled.

"Yeah it's bigger, we don't have houses like this out where I'm from"

He laughed and offered me a seat next to him on the couch.

"So" He said.

"Sooo" I replied.

"So what about your family?" He asked.

"What about them?" I said, trying to step around the subject of my parents death. I really didn't feel like explaining it and crying on my first night with the M. Shadows.

"Well when you were explaining your family earlier you said 'its complicated'" He said curiously.

"That's 'cause it is" I replied, trying to hold it together.

"Why?" he asked again.

'He just wants to know' I thought to myself, 'He doesn't know you, he can't read your mind' I sat there for a second debating on what to say.

"I really can't talk about it right now, I'm sorry." I said, feeling somewhat ashamed of myself.

"Oh okay.." He said as he put his arm around me.

I smiled quickly wiping a tear from my eye so he wouldn't see.

He changed the subject and asked, "So what's it like in Boston?"

"It's pretty cool. It's a tough city though, you gotta be careful who ya talk to." I laughed.

"Oh really?"

"Yea, you don't want get yourself stuck in JP" I laughed.

"and what exactly is that?"

"JP is Jamaica Plains, its a bad neighborhood" I smirked.

" And where in Boston are you from?"

"Well I'm was born near the Back Bay and lived there until I was like 4, then my family moved to Andover"

"Oh cool"

We sat there, staring into each others eyes for a while then he carried me up to his bedroom bridal style. I laid down and he wrapped his strong arms around me and kissed my forehead as I fell asleep. I never felt so safe in my entire life, nor hard I ever felt so amazing.
