Escape
Chapter 2
The flight went by pretty fast, I listened to music the whole time. When I landed I had just enough time to drop my stuff off at my hotel before heading over to the Avenged Sevenfold concert.
I changed into my favorite Avenged shirt and a pair of jeans with rips going all down the legs. I slipped on my combat boots, brushed my hair and headed to the venue.
I stood outside the stadium amongst all the other Avenged Sevenfold fans, I was determined to get as close to the stage as possible once the doors opened. This was my second Avenged Sevenfold concert.
The first concert I went to was absolutely magical, for lack of better words, I went with my friend Cameryn and we were right in front of the stage, so close we could practically touch them. I remember Synyster Gates and I locked eyes and he smiled and waved at me. It was the happiest since my parents had died.
I was hoping tonight would be even better, and I would feel that same kind of happiness, since I've been on the verge of suicide for the past year.
The doors finally opened and I ran in, pushing through crowds of people. I was determined to get to the front and I did, surprisingly. The band soon walked out and I melted inside as they started playing their setlist.
For me listening to their music was almost therapeutic, but seeing them perform live was indescribable.
I was listening and taking in the view, looking at each of them when I saw Synyster Gates looking at me, and our eyes locked. He smiled and I smiled right back. Did he remember me? I would be shocked if he did.
I sang along and the night soon came to an end, I was sad to leave but I was satisfied with how I decided to celebrate my High School Graduation. I celebrated it alone but I celebrated it how I wanted to.
As I walked out of the building I noticed and alley way, I wasn't sure where it led but I started wandering down it thinking I've got nothing to lose, I honestly didn't give a fuck anymore.
It was dark and wet, dumpsters lined the streets and pieces of paper swirled about in the moonlit sky. I came face to face with a fence and started climbing over it, I was a gymnast for 16 out of 18 years of my life so I climbed with ease, carefully lowering myself down the other side when I heard faint voices, then a door opened. I attempted to be quiet, so I slowed my breathing and inched my way through the dim light towards what I thought was a wall, but it was a trash can that I knocked over with a loud crash against the cement,
"shit!" I quietly yelled as I crouched in the shadow.
" Who's there?" I heard a familiar voice say, "What do you think you're doing" The voice said, as I stood up.
I was face to face with M. Shadows. His expression went from I-Want-To-Kill-You to Wait-What in a matter of seconds. I assumed that he realized his 'enemy in the dark', was a small girl.
"Hi" I said shyly, looking into his Hazel eyes.
