Matt raced down the stairs, I followed closely behind. As we walked down the hall leading to the front door I saw glass all over the floor. The window next to the front door was smashed.

"That bastard" I whispered to myself, knowing exactly who did this.

Matt walked up to the glass lookin at it when he noticed something. He bent down and picked up a rock with a note wrapped around it.

The note read:

This isn't over, I will win. -Andrew

I suddenly felt dizzy. I went and sat down on the couch, what was I going to do. Andrew had it out for me an he wasn't going to stop. He was clever. Too clever. The tears started cascading down my cheeks as I buried my face in my hands. I wanted to disappear, all the familiar suicidal thoughts clouded my brain once again.

I felt Matt's arm around me. "Everything is going to be fine"

I couldn't even speak, I just hysterically cried. Why me? Why do I have to go through this hell. What did I do to deserve this.

"Matt, what... What am I going to do?" I sobbed.

He cupped my face in his hands, wiping the tears off my face with his thumbs.

"We're not going to let this son of a bitch win"

I saw a smile growing on his face as one grew on my face too.

"But... What if he comes after... Me"

"I'm not going to let anything happen to you." His strong arms tightened around me.

"I suppose we should clean this up" I sighed.

Matt and I picked up the glass piece by piece, and threw it into the garbage. As he walked into the kitchen he stopped to look at some pictures my family had hung up on the wall.

"Is this your mom and dad?" He asked.

"Yeah that's them" I smiled.

"What were their names?"

"Mae and Joe"

"You look a lot like your dad, and you have your moms smile" he said looking towards me.

I smiled, "I get that a lot"

"What were they like?" He asked.

"Well, my dad was a lot like me; quiet, shy, intelligent, and willing to speak up when it was necessary. And my mom, my mom was probably one of the nicest people you could ever meet, she loved to talk... A little too much" I laughed.

"I wish I could of met them" Matt sighed.

"I wish you could of too"

*Matt's POV*

I was really worried for Morgan, I didn't want anything to happen to her. After the dream that I had, I don't know what I'd do if I lost her.

I don't know how Morgan has dealt with him since her parents died. He seems harmless in the outside but from what she's said about him he seems pretty powerful. I was scared for her. But I wasn't going to let anything happen to her. I promised myself that as I was holding her there in the foyer of her house. But so help me god if that bastard Andrew lays one finger on her, I don't even know what I'd do. It wouldn't be pleasent though. But for now I just wanted to keep Morgan safe, I loved her. And you're supposed to protect the ones you love, right?

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head.

"I love you" I said.

*Morgan's POV*

I walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water. It was only 7am, and all this malarkey with Andrew had happened. I was scared of him and I know deep down that if he wants to get this house somehow he will. I can't wrap my head around why he would want this house. Yes it was a nice house, his was nicer. This house held no memories of him whatsoever. He just wanted to be greedy and make my life miserable.

"This sucks" I sighed. Matt just looked up.

"I'm sorry I brought you into all of this" I told Matt.

"It's fine." He said calmly.

"No it's really not, what if Andrew goes after you?"

"I won't let him"

I sighed, "Whatever I need to go to sleep."

I trudged up the stairs and into my room, as I fell into a restless sleep. My thoughts were bombarded with Andrew and what he might do. This was all too much once again.
