I Found You, Something Told Me To Stay.

Prologue

The sky was navy blue and black, but the Huntington Beach air was still warmed from the previously long, sunny day, in June. The stars sparkled overhead, winking at the couple that swam beneath them. The pool lights illuminated the water from below, tinting the chlorinated water, green and light blue. The couple waded in the shallow end of the pool, when the girl began to move away from her guy. She winked at him, before submerging underneath the water, and used her feet to push away off of his toned stomach. He moved slowly towards hers, the water he was treading spread around his body in a small wave. When she finally resurfaced she smoothed her long black hair back with both of her hands. He was now face to face with her; her bright green eyes meeting his hazel ones.

His lips broke out into a smile, as did hers, and he playfully picked her up in the water. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he continued walking until he had to swim to reach the edge of the deep end of the pool. Her back hit the smooth, cool, surface of the pool siding and she slid her hands down his toned muscular chest. Placing his strong tattooed arms on either side of her body, he gripped the pool edge with his hands to keep himself above water, as he held her between them. He pressed his lips to her jaw line, his single lip ring sending shivers throughout her body. She bit her own pierced lip, as he moved his lips farther down her neck. With every kiss, he gently sucked on the piece of the skin his lips touched, and she let out a content sigh. He brought his face level the girl's, his mouth hovering centimeters from hers.

Blinking back the water falling into her eyes, she watched his eyes travel down her body then back to her face. She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. They slipped slightly from the water, but the boy caught her, holding her body against his securely. He lightly ran his fingertips up her sides, letting go of the pool's edge for just a moment. She touched her lips to his, subtly slipping her tongue into his mouth. He deepened it, pressing the entire front of his body into hers, wrapping his arms around her waist.

He moaned softly into her lips, as their smooth, wet bodies came in contact. She let her eyes close, just enjoying the feeling of his body's warmth against hers in the cool pool water. Sinking lower into the water now, he trailed his tongue lightly up her clavicle, stopping just behind her gauged ear, and pressing his lips fully down. She giggled, squirming a little from the sensation, and his lips smiled against her skin.

"Truth or dare," he whispered, pushing her back against the wall and pinning her between his arms once again.

"Truth," she responded, breathing her answer against his lips. He gently kissed her; lingering a little longer than usual, just so he could taste her again.

"Do you love me?" he questioned, locking his hazel eyes with her bright green ones.

"Of course I do," she smiled, kissing his lips.

"Say it," he demanded softly.

"I love you, Matthew Charles Sanders," she grinned this time, loosening her hold around his neck. She placed kisses on his shoulder, and listened to his breathing as he traced her back with one hand.

"And I love you, Ariel Lynn Jacobs," he chuckled, kissing her temple, "You're turn,"

"Truth or dare," she asked, leaning backwards against the siding and looking up at him.

"Dare," he smirked; he knew what was coming. Matt knew Ariel all too well.

"I dare you to make love to me, right here...right now..." she said, her voice almost inaudible as her plump lips spread into a smile. Sliding her hands down his flat stomach, and into the waist band of his swim trunks. A smile graced his lips before he took her face in his hands, kissing her passionately. She tugged his shorts down, watching them float upwards and away from them. He moaned once her hands reached his throbbing member, and he reached behind her back, untying her black bikini top. She thrust her hips upward adjusting to the new height of the water as they moved about. Their hips met, causing him to grunt a little. He tossed her bikini top over his shoulder, and placed his hands on her breasts. She kissed the corner of his mouth as his fingers dove below the water, slowly making their way into her bikini bottoms. In one motion, she removed her hands from Matt's neck and yanked on both of the strings on the side of her bottoms, not wanting to wait any longer.

Matt quickly picked up on Ariel's urgency, and instantly positioned her hips over his. She slowly wiggled onto him, with a smug grin upon her face. He grunted and he crashed his mouth onto hers, kissing her hungrily. She sighed as he pushed himself into her tenderly, savoring every second of his actions. He kissed her again and she moaned his name, tangling her fingers in his short brown hair. She threw her head back, listening to the sound of her lover's slightly labored breathing, and the sound of the water around them sloshing softly.

After what seemed like forever, the couple climaxed, and Matt swam over to grab their blow up, couple's lounge for him and Ariel. Climbing up onto the float, Ariel realized they were both still naked. He paddled back to Ariel, using his hands to move while the rest of his body rest on the float. Ariel laughed lightly and Matt attempted to kiss her cheek. Grabbing Matt's chin with her forefinger and thumb, she lead his kiss to her lips. He leaned over the floats side suddenly, and grabbed her hips. She squealed slightly, as Matt pulled her onto the float with him, and meshed his body with hers. They both laughed, turning to face each other. Matt wrapped his left arm around Ariel, piecing his body against hers. Ariel watched as Matt stared up into the night sky.

"Remember the first time I met you?" he spoke to Ariel, still watching the stars.

"Yeah, it was June 11th, 2007, at that bar in town," she smiled, rubbing his sides and kissing his shoulder.

"It was a year ago today," he said knowingly, glancing down at Ariel's lit up eyes.

"Really?"

"Really,"

"My, Mr. Sanders, I do believe that's a long time," she joked with a fake southern accent.

"It sure is, darlin', and I loved every minute of it," he joked back, stealing a kiss from her before continuing, "It's been the best year of my entire life, happy anniversary,"

They both got really quiet, just examining each other in the silence.

Ariel was never this happy with any guy besides her Matt. He came into her life when she was really in need of saving; he was her angel. He was the only guy she willingly gave herself to. She couldn't break the addiction she had to his taste and the sound of his voice saying her name made her heart throb. Matt loved Ariel with every inch of his heart and he told her so by leaning in and kissing her, "goodnight."

Matt and Ariel closed their eyes, tangled in each other and began drifting off to sleep, and the first thought that came to both minds was that fateful day a year ago. The day Ariel Lynn Jacobs met her savior, her lover, her best friend, Matthew Charles Sanders.
