How To Save A Life.
Chapter Five
Zacky smiled and asked, "So where do you wanna go?" As we walked to his red convertable. He opened the door for me and I sat down in the passanger seat. I put my finger to my chin, thinking. "Dave and Busters!" I shouted, pumping both fists in the air. He laughed and responded, "To Dave and Busters we go!" He put the car in reverse and backed out of the driveway. As he was about to make the turn, I stopped him and said, "Wait. I need to go to my place first to make myself look presentable." He rolled his eyes, pinched my cheek and said,"You always look amazing in my eyes, but if you say so." I typed in my address in his GPS and we arrived at my appartment in about ten minutes. Before we walked in, I texted my room mate Mia, warning her. "Hey, I'm coming home for a bit to get ready for a date. The guy is coming with. Try not to have a total orgasm when you see him." She replied with "xD I'll try, you make this guy sound like he's Synester Gates or something." I laughed out loud, literally and answered, "Close enough."
I walked into my appartment door and told Zacky to stay in the hall for a minute. "Yoo, girl." She said to me, not turning away from her phone. "Hey. I'm gonna let him in and go get ready. Try not to freak out too hard." She laughed again, doubting this guy was as hot as i was making him out to be. "I'll try my best."
I gestured for Zacky to walk in. She looked up, saw him and her jaw dropped. "You...You're...You..." She stuttered, at a loss for words. "I'll let you two get accquainted." I said with a smile, heading for the bathroom. I could feel her excitement and I remembered how I'd reacted the first time I met the guys. I must've looked like a total freak compared to how I act now.
I emerged from the shower, now surrounded by a steam filled bathroom. I wrapped a towel around myself and dried and curled my hair. I applied my eyeliner and lip gloss and went into my room to pick an outfit. I went with black super skinny jeans and my avenged sevenfold tee.
I stepped out into the living room where Zacky and Mia were talking and did a little twirl. "Woah.." Zacky said. "Damn, you lookin sexy!" Mia added, I laughed she then said, "Can I have a word with you in the kitchen?" I nodded and followed her into the kitchen. I'd known this was coming. "Lucy?" she started. "Mmhm?" I asked. "Why didn't you tell me that for the past two days you've been with AVENGED FUCKING SEVENFOLD?!" I laughed so hard, i couldn't help it. I knew Zacky could hear us and he was laughing to himself to. "I didn't think it was something I could just say cause I knew you'd freak out! I'm sorry..you know..maybe I can convince Brian to go on a double date with us.." Her eyes nearly popped out of her head, "YOU KNOW SYNYSTER GATES TO?!" She shouted. Zacky and I were both dying. "I promise I'll explain all of this to you later, I gotta go now, I'll text you later!" I said. Zacky grabbed my hand and we walked out of the appartment, waving to Mia as we left.
Zacky was looking adorable in his black button up shirt and pink bowtie. We got back into his car and headed for Dave and Busters.
We arrived at around eight o' clock and quickly seated ourselves. We ordered two of the same thing and while we were waiting for our food, he grabbed both of my hands, stared deep into my eyes and said, "You look freaking adorable, you know that?" I blushed and looked down. I responded with, "You sir are the most handsome guy I think I've ever seen. You're always looking so cute in your various bow ties!" He smiled at me, this night was so perfect and I'd hardly begun.
After we'd eaten, we headed to the arcade. I beat him at skee ball, 500 to 200. We raced virtual cars and he won that. We played for about three hours together, having the time of our lives. We cashed in our tickets at the end of the night and it'd come out to almost four thousand, not too shabby. He wandered off into the prize shop and told me to wait outside. I waited anxiously with the biggest smile on my face that showed no signs of leaving all night long. He emerged from the shop after about five minutes holding the biggest stuffed hippo I'd ever seen. I was so happy. I kissed him and he kissed me back sweetly.
Right before we left, we decided that we needed to go to the photo booth. Zacky used the last of his tokens to make the machine work. We stepped into the booth and closed the curtain behind us. "Ready?" He asked. I checkd myself in the camera lense and fixed my hair. "Ready!" I smiled at him. He pressed start and the camera started counting down from five. Immediatly, Zacky kissed me and I felt butterflies throughout my entire body. He pulled me closer and I wrapped my hands around his neck. I'd almost forgotten where we were, until the flash of the camera reminded me. Zacky hit the button again and it counted down once more. He put his arm around me and looked into the camera. Just as the countdown hit one, I smashed my lips against his face and his smile grew. I pushed it again and this time he kissed my cheek. I smiled and blushed. the final picture we made faces into the camera. We both stuck out our tongues at each other. The happiness could be felt, just by looking at the picture. We stepped out of the booth and he took the roll of pictures from the slot. He looked at them, smiled and handed them to me and said, "You keep it." His snakebites were reflecting in the light and i examined them and smiled. There were four pictures and i ripped two off. "Here, you have those and I have these. Now it's fair." I said with a smile. He took his two and put them in his pocket.
It was 11:30 by the time we left. "Wanna go back to Matty's?" He asked smiling and putting his arm around me as we walked back to his car. "I'd love to." I said flashing him a smile. This had been without a doubt the most magical, perfect night of my life.
We got back to Matty's around midnight. We opened the door and announced our presence. Jimmy greeted us, already a few beers deep. He asked, "Ah, the lovers have returned to us. How was your guy's date?" Zacky looked at me and smiled and responded, "Perfect." Jimmy walked away and he whispered in my ear, "just like you." I blushed. Matty then said, "Uh. Yeah. If you guys are gonna do it there's a bedroom upstairs with a drawer full of condoms." "Flavored condoms?" Johnny asked, even more beers deep than Jimmy. Matty rolled his eyes and laughed and responded, "No Johnny. Not flavored condoms." Zacky sat down on a chair and placed me in his lap. I smiled at him and examined his face. I hadn't really gotten a good look at it since last night. He noticed me studying him and asked playfully, "What?" with a smile. I answered, "Nothing. I'm just trying to figure out how so much handsome can go into one guy." He blushed and said. "You are so adorable." I shook my head.
We just sat in the chair together, talking sweet to each other until I said, "Hey. Looks like everyone's asleep." He nodded and said, "Yeah, we should go upstairs so we don't wake them up." I nodded and he scooped me into his arms and carried me up the stairs.
