I kept stammering. I couldn't believe it.
"Well..?" Zacky asked nervously. I was shaking. He got out of his seat and stood next to me. He then bent down on one knee and said, "Lucille Marie Combs..I love you. More than you could ever imagine. Your bright eyes, your brilliant smile, your rosy cheeks, your smile, your adorable laugh, the way you hug me and kiss me. Your 'I miss you' texts, and everything. You are perfection in my eyes. Call me selfish, but I want this perfection, you and me, to last forever. I want you to be the first person I see when I wake up and the last person I see before I close my eyes and dream around you. Lucy, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Would you do me the absolute honor of letting me be your husband?"
The tears were slipping out before I could stop them. I had no words. All I could do is nod over and over again.
"Y-yes?" He asked. I nodded and laughed.
"Yes."
I've never seen Zacky smile so big. He picked me up and spun me, smashing our lips together.
"SHE SAID YES!!" He shouted, throwing his fists in the air. Smiles and applause filled the room. I've never been so happy. I've never been so in love. No longer was I Lucille Combs, oh no. I was now and forever, Lucy Baker.
Damn that sounds good.

I couldn't stop looking at the ring. It was gorgeous. the ring had my birth stone surrounded by littler versions of his, symbolizing that with him I'll never be alone. And I knew it was true.
We got back to Matty's a short time later, and neither of us had stopped smiling. We walked in, hand and hand. I opened the door and was greeted with nervous looks from everyone.
"So how was dinner..?" Jimmy asked.
"Good, good." I said, playing it cool and casual, keeping my ring out of sight
"Anything interesting happen..?" Brian asked.
"Oh, you know. We just got engaged, regular Thursday night stuff." I said, exposing my smile and hand.
"YOU SAID YES OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!" Jimmy shouted, pulling us both into a huge Jimmy hug. Soon everyone was in on this group hug.
"You guys are my best friends ever. I'm so glad you two are happy together. I'm a little too close to johnny right now, but that's okay." Jimmy said.
The world seemed to finally be at peace. Everyone was so happy. So happy, we'd all forgotten what tomorrow was...
