*Zacky's POV*

Oh man, oh man. I'm nervous as fuck right now. I guess I'm doing a pretty good job of hiding it though, because Lucy hasn't said anything. Oh, Lucy. I love her more than anything on this planet. She's so perfect. We haven't been together very long, but I already know that she's the one. the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with. The one I wanna see first thing when I wake up, and the last thing I see before I go to sleep and dream about her. She's funny and adorable and has the cutest laugh ever. I just want a guarantee that I'll never have to lose her.
that's why I'm gonna propose to her.
Today, when she goes out running errands and hanging out with Brian,who's helping her figure out a gift for Mia, the rest of the guys and I are going to the jewelry store to pick out a perfect ring for her. It's gotta be big, amazing, and a perfect representation of my love for her. I also wanna get it engraved, but I'm not sure what to write.
I'm planning on proposing tomorrow, if my nerves don't get the best of me, which they probably will. Either way, I've got it all planned out. I'm gonna wake her up relatively early, make her her favorite breakfast (waffles with whipped cream & cherries.) Then I'm gonna take her to the mall, give her my credit card, and tell her to buy the most expensive, beautiful dress she can find. After that, we picnic in the park, come home and have a Disney movie marathon, all her favorites. Then comes the grand finale, going to dinner. I made reservations at the most upscale, hard to get into restaurant i know of. Being Zacky Vengeance really helped move those reservations up.
I would tell the waiters to put the ring in her food somewhere, but knowing my luck she'd probably like choke on it and die or something, so right before dessert I'm gonna get down on one knee, tell her how much I love her, and ask her to be mine.
"Okay, babe?" Lucy asked, interrupting my daydreams.
"Hmm?" I asked. She laughed and repeated,
"I'm gonna go get ready to meet Brian."
"Sounds great" I answer, smiling. She was taking off her clothes to get into the shower.
Distracted again..
"so what're your plans for today?" She asked as she stepped into the shower.
"Oh,nothing." I replied, smiling to myself.

She was dressed and walking out the door a half hour later. I waited until a few minutes after she'd gone to go find Matty so we could round of the rest of the guys and get going. He was in the basement playing Call of Duty.
"Hey man, let's go." I said.
"Go? Now? I'm in the middle of a thing." Matty argued, not taking his eyes off the screen.
"Come on, this is important." I pleaded.
"And this isn't? This is modern warfare, Zacky. The world needs me." He answered.
"Dude this is my love life we're talking about. You know I'd get up for you." I said. He knew it was true. He sighed and said,
"Alright, alright. I'll be up in a minute, I promise. For now just text the guys and tell them we're coming.

Matty was true to his word and reluctantly came up to the first floor to get dressed. I patted him on the back and smiled, he returned it. I grabbed a monster energy drink from the fridge and we left. I was so ready for this. It was now or never.
"Let's do this." Matty said encouragingly as we drove out of the driveway.

"If we don't go to "Jared's" I'm gonna have to hit you." Jimmy said as we passed the bookstore.
"Why?" I asked.
"Cause then she can tell all her friends he went to Jared!!" Jimmy said, smiling. I rolled my eyes and laughed. We passed the Build-A-Bear Workshop and jimmy's inner kid came shining through.
"oooooh!! can we go in there? can we can we pleasee?" He begged.
"Nah man, come on. We're here so Zacky can buy a ring and make Lucy an official member of our family." Johnny said with a smile. I smiled back and thought for a moment.
"Wait, Jimmy could be on to something. I could put the ring on a necklace and put the necklace around a bear's neck. She'd like that!" I said, thinking out loud and happy with my idea. Jimmy was to.
Now I don't know how weird it must've looked for four tattooed, pierced guys who were dressed in all black to walk into a Build A Bear workshop, but it must've been really weird looking based on the looks we got.
"Welcome to Build-A-Bear Workshop! Where best friends are made! How can I help you gentleman?" Asked the friendly sales clerk.
"Where are your ducks?" Jimmy asked excitedly. The lady pointed him in the direction and he gave her a thumbs-up and walked away.
"Well, I wanna make a bear and put a ring on it, for my girlfriend." I explained. She smiled,
"Right this way,sir." She said as she guided me through the process of making one. I chose a cute brown bear and dressed it in a wedding dress.
When I'd made my purchase, and Jimmy his, I asked the guys,
"Would you marry me if I gave you this?"
"Dude, I'd marry you if you bought me a damn slushie. You'll be fine. She has to say yes." Johnny reassured, boosting my confidence. "Thanks guys, let's go to "Jared's" now" I requested.

We entered the store, which was surprisingly small. We were greeted by a girl that was probably in her mid-twenties.
"Hello, gentleman. What can I help you with today?" she asked happily.
"What's your guy's engagement ring section like?" I asked. she pointed me to it and i followed her, examining all the rings carefully. she stepped behind the counter and pulled out three rings.
"Now these just came into stock. they're beautiful, as you can see, five karat gold and silver." she explained. They were nice, but they just weren't sticking out to me. I shook my head and she nodded understandingly.
"Are you looking for anything in particular?" she asked. I nodded,
"Well her birthstone's a ruby, and I want at least twelve karat gold." I said. She nodded and said,
"We do have some nice ruby rings in stock. what's your birthstone sir?"
"Tanzanite" i answered.
"We have this one ring where it's a ruby and we can have it surrounded by tanzanites. It could symbolize how she'll never have to feel alone or scared or anything bad, cause you'll always be around."
I smiled and asked,
"Sounds perfect, can i see it?" the sales person nodded and went into a supply room. she emerged shortly with the ring. It was as perfect as she described it. It was the one.
"It's perfect, I'll take it." I said, beaming. I'd done it. I'd actually done it. I bought a ring that was just perfect for my Lucy.
