Chapter Twenty-Eight
He added, "You took my girl! And you hit me! You're gonna pay.." Zacky stood up. He was shorter than Mark, but I wasn't. Zacky said,
"She's my girl, not yours. Step away before I hurt you again." Mark rolled his eyes and laughed.
"This is just a scratch. It's nothing compared to what I'm gonna do to you two.."
"Oh, yeah? What makes you think we won't stop you?" I asked.
"You and what army?" Mark asked.
"THIS ARMY, MOTHERFUCKER." Jimmy shouted as he burst through the door, acompanied by Johnny and Matty. Matty was wearing his bandana and sunglasses, which always made him look like a badass. Johnny had on sunglasses to. Jimmy was naturally tall and scary, so he didn't need anything.
"This is your last chance. Walk away before it gets ugly." Matty said. Mark laughed and said,
"The only thing ugly around here is that pregnant girl." My eyes widened.
"What the fuck did you just say?" I asked. I didn't wait for an answer, I swung at his face but he caught my fist mid-swing.
"I said. Your girlfriend is ugly." He looked me dead in the eye as he said this. I could feel our hate radiating off of each other. He swung at me and I had no time to react. He hit me right in my left eye, my good eye.
"Oh. Fuck. No." Jimmy said, coming towards Mark. Jimmy may be a real sweet bear, but boy can he fight if he's provoked. Without hesitation Jimmy slammed his fist under Mark's chin. We all watched as his mouth began to bleed. We all ganged up on him in a circle. He was completley surrounded.
"Now what, punk?" Zacky asked with a smirk, using Mark's own words against him. Mark shifted his glance at each other us until he finally said,
"Alright, alright. Truce. I leave, you leave. Got it?" We all looked at each other. Jimmy asked,
"Promise to leave my family alone?" I smiled, boy did I love Jimmy.
"I promise, I promise." Mark stammered. Jimmy stepped away and so did the rest of us. Mia ran into my arms and I kissed her and spun her. I knew we'd won. Jimmy patted Mia's stomach and said with a smile,
"Come on Bri and little Bri, let's go home."
