Yaaaaay!! So glad to see them back together, and in a (potentially) more stable situation! I really love the detail of her taking out her contacts for this conversation, it makes the whole thing feel very real and vulnerable. (I wore colored contacts for the first time a couple weeks ago, and dang, they can really make you feel like a different person, lol!)

I love Vi, she’s a complete badass. You know this. BUT, it seems that Zee is the one who has to do all the ‘compromising’... Vi needs to gain confidence IN her relationship. She needs realise she ISN’T going to lose herself, or who she wants to be, because she does happen to be in a relationship. And that Zacky doesn’t want, or require, that. He doesn’t want her to change, or compromise who she is. He loves her exactly how she is. He is just as terrified as she is, he has never loved before. Not this way. But he is no longer pushing her away because of his insecurities. She doesn’t seem to be able to look past her own to see this. Yet.

Haha, thanks! Funny to think I ended my first story at 50 (although it has a sequel and a threequel, so...). Thanks for understanding! That's the worst thing about compromise is that sometimes it's hard to know how far is too far. But more on this soon!

Yes, Vi what the effing hell! She definitely has some things to figure out and she better do it soon! She's lost herself before and fought hard to get where she is, so this is mostly about her not wanting to lose that. So we'll see what she comes up with!
Relationships are tough, dude. Compromise is hard, especially when you feel like you shouldn't have to. I kind of feel where she's coming from, though maybe that's just a sign that I'm crazy, too, haha. If you know you'll be okay on your own, it's easier to just push people away than make an honest effort to work through shit.
Anyways, please excuse my ramblings, lol. I enjoyed this chapter, as always. Congrats on making it to number 50!!!
Vi sweetie, you need to realize that you’re in a relationship no matter what. Her rebelling against it is clearly causing problems and only going to continue to cause problems. She needs to realize what’s she’s doing before Zacky leaves her. For good.
I really love violet, I do... but her destroying everything pisses me off. I know she likes her independence and I get it, but what are you doing??? Saying stuff about compromising... What are you asking Zack to do then, huh? He can't say anything without ticking her off even when he's just being sweet... ugh!
Let's see what happens next... maybe she should just realize that her and Zack is really really real.
Oh and if we're switching... I could totally go for some training Matt ;-)
