She has been a smoker for years, but she is determined to beat it. I however, am struggling. I’m on the fence about adding it into one of my stories, writing is how I kind of deal with the shit in my life. I’m just kind of holding it all in at the moment.

They have. It’s inoperable, but “treatable”. They started her on chemo, but the largest tumor she has (fist-sized in the brachial branch of her lungs) is pressing down on the vessels that lead to her brain, which is making her face and neck swell badly. So they’re stopping chemo and starting radiation for five weeks to try and shrink the tumor. It sucks to watch her go through all of this and know there’s nothing I can do to help her.
